I tried the Go Green smoothie, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and very refreshing. I've passed by this location many times and always wanted to try it, so I'm glad I finally stopped in. The smoothie tasted completely different from the ordinary smoothies you find at other places. You can really taste the fresh, healthy ingredients. The shop is clean, welcoming, and conveniently located in the corner. It's also easy to see why so many fitness-conscious and health-minded people come here. Everything feels focused on fresh ingredients and better nutrition. Tried Vitality Bowls and ordered the PB&J chia seed toast and the açaí elixir. The toast was freaking phenomenal -- honestly one of the best PB&J-style things I've ever had. Highly recommend it! It's layered with so many good ingredients and the flavors work perfectly together. The only small downside is that they didn't have knives or forks available. Because the toast is so stacked, it's a little tricky to eat with your hands. That said... it was so good I didn't really care. The açaí elixir was also pretty good. Refreshing and something I'd order again. Service was a little slow but friendly, and the place seemed fairly clean overall. I usually go for a bowl at places like this, so next time I definitely want to come back and try some of their açaí bowls -- but once I saw that PB&J toast on the menu, I was locked in. I wanted something quick and healthy to take home and thought the Supergreen Goddess Salad sounded good. It was my first time trying their food. There was no one at the cash register when I walked in. I waited a while and considered leaving, especially when a worker came out of the back room to hand someone their food and then went right back in without acknowledging me. I finally noticed a computer screen on the counter for entering your own order, but before I could do that another worker showed up and took my order. There were several customers eating inside the restaurant but it was very quiet, which I liked. I went to sit down at a table while waiting for my food and found most of them near the front needed a good wipe down. They made my food in about 5 minutes and got the order correct (no radishes or feta cheese, dressing on the side). The salad was okay, but I was a bit disappointed. I'm not sure why they call it Supergreen because it was just a basic salad with lettuce, cucumbers, pickled egg, mashed avocados, pepitas, a few grains and strips of chicken on top. The only thing unusual about it was the pickled egg, which was actually quite tasty. The chicken portion was too small and it was supposed to have mint in it, but I didn't taste any. The dressing didn't have much flavor to it. I'd go back if I was in the neighborhood and hungry, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. read more

My husband and I stopped by this afternoon for a quick snack and placed an order. While waiting, I asked the staff member at the counter for the restroom code. She told me there was no public restroom. I replied that I understood, but that the restroom was for customers only, and we had just purchased food. She then said that regardless of whether we were customers or not, there was no restroom available for use, and walked away. This was confusing, as there is a sign clearly posted in front of the restroom stating that it is for customers only. I also have a photo of this sign. Based on the posted policy, we believed we were eligible to use the restroom as paying customers. I understand the need to follow rules, but clearer communication and accurate information from staff would have been appreciated. We ordered two nutty bowls, but were given incorrect bowls. The bowl had peanut butter on top and not in the base, which we could tell by the color and taste. Since it's summertime, I love the fact that vitality Bowls is around!! I don't like hot lunch items when it's blistering hot outside, so, if vitality bowl is perfect for me!! This particular day, I was able to pick up a couple of bowls, for my aunt and my niece as well as myself, so we could cool off! They even have a kids vitality bowl, which is a little more plain in the toppings, but my niece is barely too, so she loved it!! The service was rather fast, but you had to order by a kiosk, and I honestly suck at ordering on kiosk because I rather talk to a real person. I ask for a bag, and she responds "we have no bags, but I can give you a box" AS I CAN SEE THEM ON THE COUNTER?! So she comes out with a BOWL? For my wrap? So I then just went to grab a bag myself and she comes out to say "you could have told me you wanted a bag?" I respond "I asked for a to go order and you told me there are no bags?". We went up to order and my friend chose the Vitality Wrap and The Rehydrator juice. I picked with the Superfood Bowl and the friendly lady at the counter recommended I add peanut butter to it, so I did. We grabbed a table and the food was ready fairly quickly. I loved the Superfood Bowl and the peanut butter was an excellent addition. My friend was a big fan of his Rehydrator juice and enjoyed the Vitality Wrap, although he was thrown off by it being warm (considering it was all veggie). This place had a relaxed and down to earth feel from the moment I walked in, nothing too flashy but still warm and inviting, the people working there were all really kind and patient, no one seemed stressed or annoyed even though there were quite a few people waiting, they handled things calmly and with smiles which made a difference, the food was really tasty too, not in a fancy way but like the kind of food that makes you feel good after eating it, the seasoning was just right not too salty or bland and everything was cooked well, you could tell they knew what they were doing in the kitchen, portions were decent too not huge but enough to leave full, really liked how balanced everything tasted like they put thought into how it all came together on the plate, overall it's just one of those spots that does the basics really well with friendly folks and solid food and thats all you really need sometimes. read more

My comfort meal whenever I'm feeling stomach upset or need a refresher. The acai bowls are always so thick, delicious, cold, and come with generous toppings. Especially the employees here at the Willow Glen location do not skimp at all and they are all so kind and sweet. I especially love their granola. My top 3 favorite bowls are the tropical, vitality, and blue bliss. Food is also so generous in serving size and is so fresh. Their green goddess bowl is a bit of an acquired taste but if you like that flavor you'd love this. I also love their chicken panini, my favorite sandwich here. There was one employee working and she was interactive and attentive even though she was already busy filling orders. I have to say that I was extremely dissatisfied with my recent visit to Vitality bowls, I usually go to the location on Oakland road where I get much better service. This location had given me a bowl that had a small hair in it. I understand mistakes happen and informed their manager about the incident where he told me there would be no refund, along with no do over bowl. On every occasion I've been here so far (which has been quite a few times), the girls working have been super nice and helpful! No hand sanitizer in the restrooms are not allowed to the public. No where to wash your hands after you touch all the filthy Visa card machines. They do not disinfect.
