Stopped in at Vitality Bowls for lunch today after working up an appetite shopping in downtown Willow Glen. I wanted something quick and healthy to take home and thought the Supergreen Goddess Salad sounded good. It was my first time trying their food. There was no one at the cash register when I walked in. I waited a while and considered leaving, especially when a worker came out of the back room to hand someone their food and then went right back in without acknowledging me. I finally noticed a computer screen on the counter for entering your own order, but before I could do that another worker showed up and took my order. There were several customers eating inside the restaurant but it was very quiet, which I liked. I went to sit down at a table while waiting for my food and found most of them near the front needed a good wipe down. They made my food in about 5 minutes and got the order correct (no radishes or feta cheese, dressing on the side). The salad was okay, but I was a bit disappointed. I'm not sure why they call it Supergreen because it was just a basic salad with lettuce, cucumbers, pickled egg, mashed avocados, pepitas, a few grains and strips of chicken on top. The only thing unusual about it was the pickled egg, which was actually quite tasty. The chicken portion was too small and it was supposed to have mint in it, but I didn't taste any. The dressing didn't have much flavor to it. I'd go back if I was in the neighborhood and hungry, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

It was nice and spacious inside. Service was unfortunately really slow but the workers were communicative and apologetic for the delay so can't blame them!! Did the best they could given the circumstances. I got a smoothie without banana because I can't digest it but I was worried it would affect the flavor and texture. It turned out just fine!! Prob still would've been better with it but I wasn't risking it. A satisfying drink after heated Pilates that's for sure. I got my partner a medium açaí bowl to go and he enjoyed it.

My husband and I stopped by this afternoon for a quick snack and placed an order. While waiting, I asked the staff member at the counter for the restroom code. She told me there was no public restroom. I replied that I understood, but that the restroom was for customers only, and we had just purchased food. She then said that regardless of whether we were customers or not, there was no restroom available for use, and walked away. This was confusing, as there is a sign clearly posted in front of the restroom stating that it is for customers only. I also have a photo of this sign. Based on the posted policy, we believed we were eligible to use the restroom as paying customers. I understand the need to follow rules, but clearer communication and accurate information from staff would have been appreciated. Better staff training could help avoid situations like this in the future.

Smoothie review only! I wanted to treat myself to a smoothie after my dental appointment, and after failed attempts at 2 nearby Whole Foods' smoothie bars and a quick Yelp search later, I found myself at Vitality Bowls. Contemplated between their highly reviewed Dragon Smoothie and the Groovy Guava and I'm glad I went with the latter. It tasted homemade! Surprisingly fresh and didn't have that artificial sweetness you might find at other corporate smoothie chains. I ordered ahead via their website and appreciated their friendly interface & customizable options, allowing me to secure my dairy-free preferences before confirming my order. Pick-up times are accurate- I arrived a little early and the staff was happy to report it was already made and chilling in their fridge to stay fresh.

Food: Went with the Superfood Bowl that was fairly tasty. Açaí for the base with blueberries, banana, superfood blend, Goji berries, organic cacao nibs, graviola, and honey. Everything was tasty as expected except for the graviola.. felt like chewing on gravel granola.. Ambiance: Clean on the inside and outside. Friendly welcoming staff. Parking: There's street parking and parking lot parking at nearby businesses.

Visiting a Vitality Bowl after a long break. I used to be a huge fan of their açaí bowls until I found a few other options that I like more now. I got the açaí meets chia bowl. I wanted some protein and got some peanut butter on top which I think confused out the person who made it. The bowl was meh! Don't see myself coming back anytime soon.

Since it's summertime, I love the fact that vitality Bowls is around!! I don't like hot lunch items when it's blistering hot outside, so, if vitality bowl is perfect for me!! This particular day, I was able to pick up a couple of bowls, for my aunt and my niece as well as myself, so we could cool off! They even have a kids vitality bowl, which is a little more plain in the toppings, but my niece is barely too, so she loved it!! The service was rather fast, but you had to order by a kiosk, and I honestly suck at ordering on kiosk because I rather talk to a real person. Lol so I'm sure it was operator error, yet it took me about five or 10 minutes to place my three vitality bowl order! I wish there was a person I could've spoken to , besides the two girls that were busy in the back making other takeout orders. This particular store is rather lanky. It's almost a corner spot with a huge dining area!! I would love to have sat there and enjoyed our bowls, especially in the great air-conditioning!! I will definitely be back!!

I got the super food bowl. It was pretty good. Didn't like the granola much; it was more sticky than crunchy. Very refreshing overall. The smoothie had a good consistency.

Wow! I love this location. It has a lot of seating and it's pretty spacious. The location was clean. I did have to wait a little before ordering but I wasnt in a rush. I ordered a protein shake after my workout. It was good. The service was quick. I'll definitely be back for more.

We ordered the Chicken Katsu Burrito and the Beef Brisket Burrito. While we already knew the Chicken Katsu Burrito would be amazing, I wasn't prepared at how phenomenal the Beef Brisket Burrito would be! Omg it was on another level of pure satisfaction. The salsa topped it off making the meal chefs kiss. I'd say from everything I had had here so far within the past few years, I'm going to say that the Beef Brisket Burrito takes the medal for me.

The service today felt disorganized. It was unclear how customers were being seated and served, and it didn't seem like there was a clear system in place. During my meal, I never received my toast, which is meant to be eaten with the dish, until I had to ask twice, halfway through eating. Additionally, it took a long time to receive my check. I eventually went to the front to pay, only to be told I needed to wait because another table had not yet received their meal. Overall, this experience was super frustrating and not up to the standard I've come to expect after being a regular customer.

It is one of the pricier burger options around, but you can literally customize your burger to your hearts content (or other sandwich type). We have had their burgers, fries, onion rings, chicken tenders and a salad - kale quinoa. Quality of ingredients - really high, really delicious meat. Lettuce and ingredients in salad were fresh, and plentiful. Portion size - a large fry or a large onion ring feeds my whole family - when it says large, it is large.I did not trust the first time and ended up with WAY more fries than we needed. But fun fact - these reheat really well! Some do not, these are great the next day in the air fryer (same as onion rings) The only disappointing item for my son was the chicken tenders, they were very small and mostly breading. Kind of felt like we had the last remnants of a batch. Good flavor overall, just not a lot of chicken and overall this was the smallest portion size, even for a kid size. And we order from them all: Mojo, Habit, The Burger Lounge. I would rank the Stand higher than these others for quality, flavor and menu selection. But definitely at a higher price point. One thing to keep in mind - paying for McDonalds these days is close to paying for one of these higher-quality spots and I will pay more $$ any day of the week to ensure higher quality ingredients and choices.

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

I grew up eating my Mom's Mousaka and I've eaten it in Athens, Naxos and Santorini. Let me tell you, their Mousaka was excellent. The eggplant, potato, meat filling and béchamel on the top were perfect. It's definitely a must try. The three skewers of meat were so flavorful and juicy. Both my husband and I loved it!!
