Vitas come on once I decided to end chemo as it was not working and cost me 12000 in dental work. From day one they listened they let me talk they let me tell them how I felt. They put together a plan and have been nothing short of exceptional so far. I now receive equipment that I need and the correct medications so that I can possibly enjoy the rest of the time I have with my family. Maybe I just got lucky but I pray that anyone else using Vitas has the same experience that I have. Honestly I actually have hope which is something I haven't had in 2 plus years. God Bless.

Before switching to their services, we were led to believe that the necessary DME equipment was readily available, but after switching, we were given multiple explanations as to why it was not available. We also had concerns about the care provided during a visit. An aide came to our home for approximately 30 minutes, did not properly clean my father, left his dirty clothing on the floor, and left the home without notifying anyone. I contacted the company to report our concerns. Instead of receiving a call to discuss what happened and hear our side, we received a call from a manager who spoke aggressively to my family and me and said, "We will not talk to our aide that way." We felt that our concerns were dismissed before the situation was fully addressed. We also did not receive an apology for the way we were spoken to.

They helped me tremendously as the caregiver, even giving me a 3 day respite care of Tom in their facility. I am sure this has been used by many before but they signed Tom up one hour after calling and I had the 3 day respite care so I could visit my daughter for a late Christmas and they had it all set up with 24 hours of our accepting them and they us. This was amazing to me and I am so grateful for this awesome facility and all workers there, God bless each one of you!

We stayed the whole time hardly ever leaving my brother's side. They made sure I was just as comfortable and had everything I needed. This experience was the absolute hardest experience I have endured in my life and I would have NEVER gotten through it with them, explaining everything and quality of caring for my brother in his final days. I was…read morelooking for compassionate care (palliative care) for bad back (from many surgeries) and also COPD and this company within days, had me on so many pain meds and benzodiazepines that I couldn't think straight and they put from outpatient with nurses visiting me into a impatient unit when I couldn't make decisons. I was basically locked in a small room where they never changed the sheets, showered me or were compassionate to me. I was sent to a hospital after 4 weeks there by ambulance with no records, medications, withdrawing horribly. I waited over 13 hours in a ER, only to be sent home the next day to die of detoxing from 3 opiates and 2 benzodiazepines. I had to get into a rehab center to get off these meds. STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE OR YOUR LOVED ONES LIVES. They will kill you or them if you don't somehow get lucky like me.

Events, health fairs and professionally in several facilities including rehabs and assisted living. I used them personally for my father. I can't thank them enough. Jackie Bailey was one of my Dad's nurses. She called me and told me to come immediately. I was able to hold my Dads hand as he transitioned. Without her help and the Wuesthoff Hospice Team, my Dad's passing would have been such a different story. I will forever hold that team in my heart.
