I loved the all-inclusive dining and bar, and really appreciated the option of add-on services like massages, beauty salon, etc...not to mention the almost-private beach, two pools, and a hot tub! But after seeing some of the mixed feedback now, I was honestly surprised. It seems like this place can be very hit or miss. Thankfully for us, it was definitely a hit. We were there for three nights, and overall had a great experience. Our main complaint would be the food, which we found to be mediocre overall, though there were definitely a couple of standouts. Next time, I'd skip the buffet except for the freshly made stations, which were the only part consistently worth it. We really enjoyed the teppanyaki at Tamari, and the fish and shrimp tacos from Blaze were so good we had them twice during our stay. On the other hand, dinner at Blaze was unremarkable and we were disappointed with the pizza and zeppole from Melanzane, though we didn't get to try anything else there. I do wish we had stayed an extra night or two to explore more of the dining options, though based on what we experienced, we may not have missed out on too much. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Rafael at the club lounge bar and Lizbeth at reception - both were a pleasure and made our stay even more enjoyable. I was also surprised by the size of the gym and the variety of equipment. I made sure to get at least one workout in and really appreciated the incredible ocean views while doing so. We visited in February and never felt like the resort was overcrowded. In fact, some restaurants seemed surprisingly empty at times. One thing worth noting: they have pickleball courts and a basketball court, which we didn't see advertised anywhere. We would've packed our pickleball gear had we known, but fortunately they provide equipment you can borrow. They also offer activities throughout the day - we mostly enjoyed the evening bar shows. I'd definitely recommend downloading their app to keep track of the schedule and access other helpful hotel information like menus. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay and a strong positive experience for us. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the dining experience didn't quite match the rest of the resort. While the food could be more consistent, the friendly staff, beautiful setting, amenities, and relaxed atmosphere made it a memorable stay.

We spent most of our time at the adult pool which was a lovely location with an infinity pool, hot tub, and drink service. There was also a great view of the beach, which seemed very private. Plus it was the grand opening of the Casanova's outside terrace named for my world famous dog Casanova. Both Casanova and myself showed up early to enjoy David Duvall playing the piano in Mary Ann's Ovations lounge. We visited the Casanova Terrace and had a delicious bacon wrapped barbequed hot dog and a beverage. Back inside we enjoyed more music. Then at 7PM we went to see David Maiocco in Casa Karma's Red Room starring as Liberace. What a show. Not only does he have a striking resemblance to Liberace but he is world class pianist. I've never heard a piano sound so incredible. Both Casanova and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The evening was capped off with Marsha's delicious variety of homemade cookies and a 50/50 Raffle, both benefiting the Elevator Fund. We can't thank David Sabella and Cate Valcic enough for putting together another fantastic evening of entertainment. They are working so hard to make Act 2 PV the entertainment showplace of Puerto Vallarta. Applause and Congratulations to them both!

Buying tickets at the box office is a simple and smooth transaction. Then head over to the bar for a cocktail before the theater doors open. My group had premium tickets so we were seated first in the best section. Once inside we were served more drinks before the show and during intermission. The actors were fantastic and quite talented. The seats comfortable and production excellent for a small local theater. The show was hilarious and interactive. Such a fun time!! One friend won a flower arrangement and between us all, we won a free menu item from El Sofa Cafe, a ticket for a brunch show at Incanto and an admission ticket for a show at the Palm. AND another friend split the jackpot. Today, students from a nearby dance school performed for the crowd. Proceeds from the afternoon BINGO event were donated to the school. They have different styles of boats depending on your trip but they all are clean and operated by professionals. I'm saying this a lot because when safety matters, you want to know that people are trained for their jobs. We had a highly skilled captain, very entertaining and informative tour guide and many helpful deckhands. We snorkeled (clean equipment), bird watched, saw many whales, sea turtles and went to a secluded beach. All food and drinks provided were tasty and abundant. We arrived back at port safely and highly enjoyed our excursion. If we had more time, we would have done more.

The entire staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. We had such a great experience with the dolphin swim that before we left we booked our next adventure to Rhythms of the Night. This was yet another fantastic experience. The boat ride there and back were both a complete blast. Dinner on the island was more than we expected. The show itself blew us away. We will definitely be booking with them when we return to Puerto Vallarta!

The drinks were noticeably watered down, and after spending $84 USD to get in and about $170 on tickets and drinks, I left feeling disappointed--especially when the music cut off mid-show. To the performer's credit, she powered through and kept it going, which I respected. That said, after how incredible the Beyoncé show was, it was hard for the Gaga set to live up to it. The one exception was the towel lady who was a bit brusque- but that stood out because everyone else was so great. * Breakfast was solid, with varieties of bread, fruit, omelettes/waffle station, bacon, eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal bar, green and fresh orange juice every day. We ate there every morning and didn't get too bored. Cons: * Walls seemed pretty thin. I could hear other people using their key cards (just the clicking sound) late at night when I was in my room, and sound of other TVs and chatter in the hall. The people above us seemed to be dragging furniture around frequently which was also noisy. * The property as a whole is pretty dated and needs some renovation. We checked out the Marriott which had nicer pools (infinity pools) and seems much less run down. They also have a nice looking spa and a much larger fitness center (available for Westin guests while the construction is happening). The room seemed somewhat dated, and particularly the bathrooms could use a refresh. * The construction was a minor annoyance- a couple restaurants on site were closed.

The added crib wasn't clean, once we wiped it down, it was a big difference. We are glad we stayed on points, not sure it is worth it to pay while during construction. I heard it's becoming all inclusive in 2026, it will be well worth it for that type of business once construction is done. 15 minutes walk to Marina where there is a Thursday Market.

The workers that couldn't go home were housed. The guests, like me, that were checking out were allowed to book another night, even though they were in a sold out status. The hotel mgmt took care of all of us in such a beautifully kind manner which allowed us to find some safety while the town was burning due to the car fires. The property is right on beach, has a family pool and adult swim area with hot tubs in both areas. We booked a hotel room that had a small pool access from the patio. They have 2 swim up bars, a children's play area, spa and an excellent workout room. I was told they will be renovating the hotel this summer 2026, which is needed in some areas, such as the spa. It was a very enjoyable visit other than the cartel action and I would stay here again if I come back to Puerto Vallarta.
