    Pizza was very bland

We have eaten here many times and have always had delicious food and great surface this visit, however, was on a Friday evening and we had reservations. upon arrival We had to wait quite a bit before we were seated. We then waited a very long time before they brought waters to our table, it seemed like forever before they brought any bread to the table and and then took our order. my wife and I split the pizza and I can say the crust was done nicely, but the pizza was very very bland and would not recommend it as always. The ambience was like an upscale Italian place. Our food was bland, and the service was slow.

Hands down the best Italian place to eat in Indianapolis. I can't believe we had never tried this restaurant. The server was friendly, and she went over the menu and provided recommendations since it was our first time there. Their bread is so good, and dipping it in the Alfredo just took it to a whole new level. Their salad tasted so fresh and the dressing was great too. My husband love his shrimp pasta and I don't normally order lasagna out but was told it was some of the best lasagna ever made. Now they were not lying! The lasagna was next Level delicious! The cheese on top was quality! The filling was perfection and the noodles were cooked just right was well. All these components made the most perfect and delicious lasagna. If you have not tried this place you are missing out! The prices are reasonable, the food memorable, the staff super friendly. Sounds like the perfect combination to me!

    - Great Local Spot with Thoughtful Service Vito Provolone's has a unique vibe--somewhere between relaxed and refined. The staff had great energy, very attentive and friendly throughout the night. We started with the cheese bread, and it was excellent--crispy, cheesy, and flavorful. She ordered the Chicken Alfredo and loved it. I had the Filet Marsala, and I was impressed they nailed the medium cook just right. The filet itself was good (a little charred in spots), and while I liked the wine sauce, the pairing with spaghetti didn't quite hit for me. Dipping garlic bread into the sauce actually made it more enjoyable. We finished with tiramisu, which was okay but a bit watery for my taste. I also grabbed a cannoli to go, and that ended the night on a high note--really tasty. Overall, it's a solid local restaurant with great service and energy. I'd definitely come back--probably to explore the seafood next time.

This local hang out is well know and for sure you want a reservation if going on a 'normal' hour! We spontaneously chose to try it and had to wait about 30 minutes - but it was well worth it! The menu is a decent size but don't expect everything, so it is more manageable and this all options are good. I was craving pesto so asked for a pasta with pesto, and even though not on the menu they did it! Much appreciated! The ambience is nice and feels a bit more upscale but casual as well. Our server was professional and helpful and prompt. The food was amazing and it was so plentiful we ended but brining almost half home. We will for sure go again and get another option, and make a reservation this time. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been.

Went to our favorite date night dinner place Vito Provolone's. We had our 1st date here & after being married a week I thought we were due for a visit. As always Vito's comes through! Had reservations ( a must for weekend evenings) and we're seated within 10 minutes. As always from the hostesses to the wait staff & the expediters everyone was great. The food is consistently outstanding. Great house salads ( their house Italian is very good!), fab meatballs & my better half loves the spaghetti with Italian sausage (a bit spicy) the garlic bread is warm soft & tasty as well. Now the fettuccine Alfredo. I'm VERY picky when it comes to this dish. I happen to cook a great homemade version of this so I'm always apprehensive ordering it out. Vito's consistently does GREAT Alfredo! Can't recommend this place highly enough! Pro tip #1 their food travels very well so don't hesitate to order carry out. Pro tip #2 Their pizza is very tasty as well!

Greenwood's finest Italian restaurant. I'll drive 35 minutes every night for Chicken Alfredo every night if I could!

Do they have Gluten Free Entrees?

They have gluten free spaghetti and you can get it with any of their sauces.

Do they offer any entrees with gluten free pasta?

I asked for a gluten free option when I went and was pleased to be able to get GF spaghetti. They can put any sauce you like on it. This helped me out having gluten free pasta.

Do they hand make their pasta?

I'm not sure. But the food is delicious & service is excellent.

Phone number stated it has been changed and the new number is unknown. Has this restaurant closed?

We ARE OPEN! We were having phone trouble the last few days. I thought it was fixed yesterday. Did you have trouble today (Friday)? Thank you!

Pretty much everything from the middle "shared plate and veggie" section. My wife and I split a super rich and tasty lamb bolognese. Again, the star of the show was the service and welcoming environment. It's just nice that they also performed on a stage of superbly prepared edibles. They were pretty quick at getting my order ready as I did a highly recommended order online for pickup. There is also a small indoor dining area if you'd like. So now to the food .... I'd say I agree they REALLY need to have some sauce or flavoring. The chicken and beef had more pepper than sauce if that says anything and that was minimal. The chicken and the beef hibachi were good but I could fire this up at home and it would taste better than this honestly plain chicken breast and steak. The steak was low quality but I expected that for the awesome price . Very, VERY minimal veggies. The zucchini is very thinly sliced and I'd say it had 4 pieces chopped in quarters max on my plate. The togo container is the typical size of 1 big (rice area) and 2 small side areas (meat and veggies) if that tells you what to expect. The pricing is good though for what you get. Now the Chinese dish (general tso's) was excellently done. Plenty of sauce and plenty of meat so that's confusing when comparing to Japanese dishes. Unfortunately I'm gonna make some people upset with my honest review but it's a heads up on what you're getting. I'm just gonna stick with making these at home unless I want Chinese food
