Iced matcha latte with soy milk
Nia W.

Nice vibe with good outdoor seating and a cozy interior, the staff was very friendly also.

Iced latte

I told her I had a dog so she drew paws on my cup! The coffee was good and she was very nice. The custard cake was amazing. I will be back for sure.

French Vanilla cappuccino- made w love

The best cappuccino I've had in a loooonnng time! No sugar needed when it's this good!

The first time I was her I got a taylor ham and egg sandwich. The taylor ham was paper thin and only 2 slices. U could barely see it on the sandwich. so I thought I would give them another chance so today I went and got the same sandwich and told them that I would like to see the Taylor ham. So he said that they put more on it. well I got home and opened the sandwich and it was the same thing. Two paper thin slices. I called and told him about it and he said well they put 2 slices on. Is he for real. I go to the diner and get a sandwich and there is 3-4 thick slices of Taylor ham. And I also told him plain only salt and pepper so what do they do put ketchup on it. NEVER AGAIN!!!! The diner may be a few cents more but at least u could see and taste the Taylor ham.

Ribeye steak sandwich and mimosa flight mixer

Fantastic modern setting, super clean fresh feeling, food exactly as expected . Friendly staff and will definitely be coming back

Food is great, staff is great and menu is just right. I gave it 4 stars because the music is a bit loud and it was a little cold.

Friendly service, I always like when the staff will talk and joke with you. There is parking on the nearest side street (Florence Ave), but no parking on the Main Street (Liberty Ave). I submitted updates to their info, but in case it doesn't work, their current address is the lot next to 1350 Liberty Ave, Hillside, NJ 07205. You can't really park in the lot itself as there is no driveway. You'd have to drive over the curb & sidewalk. I mean, I guess you could if you were willing to do that. Had the Oxtail empanadas, Walking (Beef) Taco, you provide the chips of your choice. Not a problem there is a 7-Eleven directly across the street, & the Oxtail Burrito. Everything was very good. They are expensive, so be prepared for that, but you get what you pay for. Grades: Oxtail Empanadas: A Walking Taco (Beef): A- Oxtail Burrito: B+

My first experience just wasn't the best but I truly do want to give it another try. So the website says they arrive at 12 pm but IG says 12:30 pm , I got there at 12:30 pm but the truck didn't actually pull up ready for service until 1 pm. There were a couple of people waiting and all were a little frustrated because when we called to see where the truck was we either received no answer or "I'll be there in 15" which turned to 30. I really wanted to order some of the other dishes but due to having to leave I could only order the tacos since those were the quickest. I was looking forward to the burst of Ghanaian flavors in the jollof but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The tacos were flavorful but just kind of tasted like regular tacos and brown rice. Maybe I set my expectations too high? I'm not sure. The owner was nice enough but considering that he got there so late and spoke to a few of the customers that were waiting, he could've Atleast extended a mini discount or extra side, honestly anything for opening so much later than listed on his website and Instagram. I do love supporting new businesses and this one is thriving via social media. I'm hoping that I just caught him on a bad day because we're all humans and we all have days. Next time, I'm hoping it will be better!

The first time I ordered wings, it was so juicy and delicious. I use to be a fan of this place, BUT then they took away the Wing Wednesday deal, however I still gave them the benefit of doubt and ordered recently, but I was just so disappointed, the wings were burnt, and I don't mean "crispy". Well,…read moreI was craving for a fat sandwich/sub/hero/whatever and I didn't mind driving a little far for one. The place I wanted to go to closes early, so I wasn't able to stop by. Giuseppe's is open until midnight (today) so I gave them a shot. Italian Hero ($6.95): This 12"/foot long sandwich comes with ham, salami, cappicola, provolone, lettuce, onions, tomato, oil, and vinegar. The bread was soft and held the meat well. The slices of meat were tasty, but I think the red onions overpowered the sandwich a bit. I was glad to see that the ratio of meat to vegetables was equal. Considering the size of this sandwich and price, it's a pretty good deal. You don't get a side or drink, but not a problem. Fat Bastard ($6.95): Like the Italian hero, it's a 12"/foot long sandwich with the same soft bread. It comes with cheesesteak, a mozzarella stick, fried onions, chopped chicken cutlet, french fries, and a good slather of mayo. The meat was surprisingly juicy and pretty flavorful to be honest. I think they threw in some sauteed mushrooms too, which added a nice saltiness. Don't expect giant fries, mozz sticks, chicken cutlet, etc.; however, like the other sandwich, the sandwich size and price is on point. I just would've liked to see a little more cheesesteak or whatever else in it. The area this pizzeria in is, as others mentioned, "ghetto." As for the employees, they were very friendly. The woman I spoke to was very welcoming and kept calling me by name when she had a question. I'm not sure I would drive all the way to Hillside for pizza, pasta, or a fat sandwich but if I happen to be in the area, I wouldn't mind stopping by for take out.

Too bad, it wasn't a good experience. The place isn't special. It's just your typical old diner. Some people like that charm, so people don't. St least, the place was clean and large enough to accommodate a group of over twenty people. The staff was friendly and did their best to serve such a large group. Unfortunately, the food was subpar. It wasn't my worst experience at a diner, but it wasn't good. My soup came in a hot bowl, but the actual dish was lukewarm. Others had it cold. That and the pasta salad were very, very bland. My chicken salad sandwich, on the other hand, was just salty. I really didn't like it. I finished it because I was that hungry. I left with a bad feeling having been full with food that just wasn't good. I wonder why my son likes this place. He said the stuff he orders were ok. He did say the their tiramisu was horrible. Maybe I ordered the wrong things. Maybe they just couldn't handle a large group at once. I dunno. Unless I am really hungry in the area and there is no other place open to eat I won't be coming back.
