The doctor left one side of my mouth much lower then the other side then laughs at my face when I tell her I'm not biting the same.. Gaslights me and tells me that this is due to my bite before... I just started on dental HMO insurance and Viva Dental is an in-network provider. I scheduled an appointment for my first visit and cleaning. I asked if I should have my records transferred from my previous dentist and I was told no, they like to take their own x-rays to start. When I went for my appointment, after they took x-rays and thoroughly examined my teeth, I was told that I was on the verge of periodontal disease and needed a deep cleaning instead of a regular cleaning. Additionally, they gave me a lengthy treatment plan for $4,500 worth of work. I walked out of the office without a cleaning because they were insistent on the deep cleaning for periodontal disease. I had the treatment plan reviewed by my former dentist and only one thing was actually needed - a crown that they would charge me $1900 for versus a treatment plan for $4,500. WOW! The dentist is very helpful and works well with kids. They let parents sit and observe and show you problem areas of the teeth. The kids sit back and watch a movie while they work on their teeth. Very good place you can make an appointment or walk in. My 6 year old ended up having to be referred to a different place where he could be sedated heavier as he is Autistic and freaks out and they did their best to help him be comfortable. We will come back here for his cleanings though. read more

This message is for all those people who hate going to a dentist. I also was one of those people however my teeth smile and appearance was so bad that I dreaded looking myself in the mirror I could hardl y chew my food I could never smile or if I did laugh I had to cover my mouth from embarrassment. It is easy for a business to get 5 star rating if they only have a couple reviews but in doing my research Viva Dental had five stars from 86 reviews which tells you all you need to know. This place is the REAL DEAL. They did The Impossible they not only fixed my teeth but also helped me to get every single possible discount and savings which made it affordable BUT did it in such a non painful way that i still cannot believe there was not ONE TIME that i experienced any uncomfortable moment .They took my mind off everything by putting a swivel adjustable flat screen attached from the ceiling that is lowered to your height and face with all the new movies to select from so every time I went to the dentist to have them work on my teeth i was always excited because it was like going to the movies. Every time I went for my appointment the way they welcome you is beyond belief I literally felt like the president of the United States has entered the building that being me LOL by their professionalism and the awesome wonderful 'TEAM-ORIENTED STAFF' that makes you feel like family .OH YES... I almost forgot... they also put a nice pair of headphones on your ears so you can't HEAR ANYTHING except for the movie LOL I drop in once in a while and get some cleaning/ adjustments done and still after 10 months of coming and going they genuinely care about their patients. Oh...and now when all my friends and family see me smile they cannot believe their eyes!! When we were passed to the back I was so nervous when it came to the anesthesia part, the doctor was extremely awesome and did a good job, my son did not even cry during the whole dental procedure. When I first came in here I was very skeptical. I had one cavity and two wisdom teeth taken out. I thought I was going to be in a lot pain. But it turn out I never experienced any pain, didn't take any medication and I healed perfectly.
