first of all going into this I made it clear the necessity of going through with dentures. My entire life I had nothing but problems with my teeth, and when I have the chance financially I could be rid of them for good. So I called Kessler Park Dental and they told me there that this was something they could do if i so desired ? So I thought, well they performed a write up on cost on paper with a 500 dollar charge for there so called preferred pricing and another 35,000 for the saving of these teeth that's if there were no other issues (yea right). I made it clear I wanted dentures and asked the dentist he tells me that he felt uncomfortable pulling in his words "teeth that can be saved "? Its very plain to me that this set up is very capitalized in a money making machine. Never mind what the patient wants. A few weeks later I had a crown come off and called them to put it back on. Went in, they said the tooth needed to be removed. And guess what, I asked to remove the tooth I was told they did not do extractions there, WAIT A MINUTE. They lied to me, denture service includes extractions, he decided to do nothing at all sends me up front for a referral for an oral surgeon. Clear across the other side of Dallas. And charges me 147 dollars for doing nothing. And to top it off I had to find my crown on a table I guess they thought they were going to keep it. Shameful just plain terrible, I wanted to warn anyone who may assume that they have a say in what happens to there teeth its plain to see that this dentist is only after the money. read more

Dr. Martínez and his staff are the friendliest and most knowledgeable people I've met at any dentist.

We have all had that one bad experience with a dentist that made you vow never to trust any dentist again. During my intial visit my guard was up! I thought they wanted to hurt me, not pay attention to my needs while in the chair and more interested in the money or reimbursements received rather than patient care. To my surprise Kessler Park Dental is totally opposite of a sterotypical dental office. They are not a puppy mill and they truly pay attention to detail. I was impressed with the level of knowledge the dental staff have. You can tell they work as a team and that Dr. James takes good care of them. Outside of routine dental services I was surprised they off a service that whitens your teeth without the downfalls of getting veneers. Its called micro etching. The results are amazing at the fraction of the cost. I am now a believer that not all dentist are bad dentist!!! I worked in the dental field for 6 yrs previously and this office is hands down amazing, front staff and back staff are amazing. All paperwork was completed before appt and my insurance was verified too. Came in and took X-ray and saw a Dr Martinez within 10 min of arriving. He gave me his honest opinion as to what I should do going forward. I appreciated his honesty. I came in for a dental emergency and look forward to coming back and completing my treatment. Highly recommended! The entire staff is extremely detail oriented and thorough. They communicate very well and are efficient while taking the extra effort to make sure you're comfortable and happy. Very modern, clean, high-tech office. Everyone, from the front desk to the treatment room, was very friendly and professional. Jessica, the hygienist was very personable and did a thorough job. Dr. Martinez didn't rush through the exam. He took time to explain everything and answer questions but also never pushed for any unneeded procedures. His assistant, (Shamya?), took great x-rays and it didn't hurt at all. It won't be for another 6 months but I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

Going to the dentist is a pain! Between my busy hospital schedule and a natural fear of dentists, making follow-up appointments fot my dental health is the last thing on my list of things to do behind being waterboarded. I was surprised by my visit to Kessler Park. The typical new patient paper work where you give your name, medical history, blood type, and first born was easy and online. Selecting an appointment was simple, and they worked around my schedule. Honestly, it seemed too good to be true...but it was true. The front office staff was warm and friendly. They provided me with a freshly made margarita to calm my nerves. Ok. That was a lie, but it would have been awesome if they did. The room where I had my cleaning was warm and comfortable. I watched "Billy On The Street" on their Roku television. Fun fact, each room has two televisions. One on the wall and one on the ceiling. That's classy. Dr Martinez was incredibly professional and put me at ease. Like I said, I have a fear of dentistry, so my natural inclination is that he's a sadistic torturer of faces. Yeah, I don't enjoy dentistry. In my mind, dentists occupy the same circle of hell as murders and the inventor of low rise skinny jeans. Dr Martinez was different. He walked me through the visit and described my radiographic findings. He provided the perfect amount of education. By far, this was a great experience. I have been recommending him to everyone at work. You should definitely check out Kessler Park dental, unless you're the type of person who wants a sadistic face torturer. Making appointments are easy and the system sends convenient reminders. All of your paperwork is handled electronically so there's no grueling paperwork to get there early to take care of. Support your local dentist! Well, that's my theory. Kessler Park Dental is with the upcoming new and improved Ft. Worth Ave & Hampton area. I took suggestions from family & friends on where to go for my teeth health and was left hanging by disappointed stories. Yelp, recommended Kessler Park Dental. So after hours, I drove to the location... checked out the environment. Got thumbs up for the looks. The lobby appeared clean. Took my chances, right? Made my appointment with Andrea. She. Is. Delightful! Andrea addressed my questions without any painfully regret or sigh. She put me at ease and even contacted my dental insurance so I knew exactly what I was financially responsible for the first visit. The professional office was Clean, Sterilized and Welcoming. Greeted by Andrea who took care of me immediately without any wait. After washing my hands vigorously for 20 seconds and a 30 second oral peroxide rinse; I was escorted for X-rays. Done in a Jiffy! No pain No problem. The dental exam room was nothing like I've experienced before. HD mounted tv with the remote in my hands! The dental chair was clean & the room had its own air purifier. Took additional X-rays and then glamour shots of my entire mouth. The staff are very polite, All female staff. They gave me time to adjust mouth positions and when I needed a powder room break; they worked with me. The dental hygienist explained what she was about to do, when she was going to do it and put me in ease. Not to mention I really wasn't paying attention because of other tv that was mounted on the ceiling! Got to watch a movie with subtitles! Shortly later, Dr Martinez arrived and he is so pleasant! Down to earth and gave me time to explain my concerns. He explained everything in perfect detail. I learned that Oak Cliff is his old stomping grounds and we both went to the same high school. Kessler Park Dental is the absolute best!!! The office is immaculate, and you can tell they are taking Covid guidelines very seriously. I usually have a lot of anxiety when I'm visiting the dentist, but the staff at KPD made me feel SO at ease. I felt like they really cared about me and respected my time. As soon as the assistant was finished with me, I was seen by the hygienist, and as soon as the hygienist was finished with my cleaning, I was seen by Dr. Martinez. They did not leave me waiting idly for treatment, and I really appreciated that. It's clear that whoever handles scheduling is on the ball. On top of all of that, Dr. Martinez was very honest. I have been to NUMEROUS dentists over the past few years because I just can't find one that offers amazing service/cleaning, great/friendly doctor & friendly staff. Today this dentist office changed my mind and will be my go-to dentist office for my 6 month check ups from now on! Great experience! Found them on Google. Scheduled an appt where they made it clear I would be going in for a check up to see what services I needed. (When researching the facility I saw some negative feedback about not being serviced that day... the doctor has to review x/rays and your teeth PRIOR to working on them). All the assistants were sweet and accommodating. The waiting room is clean and full of refreshments. Once I was taken to the back I got x-rays, photos and filled out some paperwork. I was asked if I wanted to watch t.v while I wait (how sweet). Dr.González was quick and efficient. I personally am looking to get deep cleaning and to straighten my teeth. Kessler offers a wellness program that discounts all of your services by 20% which I happily got since I do not have insurance. I'm going in for my first deep clean and fills next week. They even referred me to a orthodontist for my braces. 10/10 completely satisfied and retuning. read more

Over the past few weeks my daughter, son and I have had cleanings and one cavity filled at Kessler Park Dental. First impression was that everyone was exceptionally pleasant. Hoping that our first experience was not a fluke, each visit afterwards was a very pleasant experience too. My kids are 11 and 12 and had such great things to say about their treatment from Dr Martinez that I decided to go there too. Normally I have a little discomfort with teeth cleanings so it was natural that I expected more of the same. This is by far one of the best cleanings I have had. Zero pain and zero discomfort. My daughter had her cavity filled and I could hear her laughing in the other room. She didn't feel a thing! I highly recommend Kessler Park Dental to anyone needing dental work. read more

My husband's first appointment with Dr. Martinez was for an emergency due to pain. Dr. Martinez tried hard to identify the problem but was not 100% of the diagnoses. I can tell you from years of experience more seasoned dentist would have just started crowning the teeth in hopes that would solve the problem. ( he does need a few crowns in that area) But Dr. Martinez was not convinced where the pain was coming from. Dr. Martinez referred my husband to an Endodontist which is a root canal specialist. The Endo was able to confirm the correct tooth, it was non-restorable due to a fracture root. This is something that your general dentist has a hard time detecting. Went back to Dr. Martinez to ext and prep for an implant. Procedure went great, and Andrea from the office has called us everyday checking on my husbands pain and asking how he's healing. My husband was very lucky for in post op he has had very little pain in healing. If you are looking for a new dentist please give Dr. Martinez a try. He and his team are absolutely wonderful. Andrea is a real love. You'll get honest, sincere and conservative care and again from years of experience in the dental field that's exactly what you'll want! read more
