As the byline states: "At CarMax, we'll buy your car even if you don't buy ours". That's what I…read morecame here to do. And I'll let you all know right now....it is a grueling, drawn out process. My main complaint is that the expediency (not to mention the attention span) of the employees here are much to be desired. It took nearly 4 hours to sell my truck, which felt like 8 hours, but should have taken maybe 2 hours. Biggest reason for this: after the guy sat down and went over the specs, driving history and condition of my truck, he "forgot" to call me back for the final appraisal. He said he lost my number, which makes no sense seeing as how they enter it into a computer. But I digress. So anyway, there I sat like the impatient goober that I am in the lobby for what felt like an eternity. If I hadn't gotten up to bug the clerks again, I'd have probably sat there till closing time. I dispatch this caveat to you all to say: should you sell a car here, be sure to stay on top of them if it's been longer than an hour or so. It only takes 30 minutes max for them to conduct the inspection of the vehicle. The longest part was everything else; getting seen, running the appraisal and finally...cutting the check. True, they give you the money on the spot....after you've signed away what feels like your life via the 8 pages of contractual blah-blah-blah. Be sure to do your KBB research prior to coming here so you have at least some idea of how much payment to expect. 9 times out of 10, they WILL undercut the Blue Book price by at least a few hundred dollars. That said, CarMax is alright. They certainly beat out their competitors at webuycars.com. The latter claimed they could only offer up to $1000 for my truck. Obviously, I turned them down for a slightly better offer from CarMax. At least they were a lot closer to the KBB range. It was still low, but I felt I needed to accept what I could get at that point. Especially after already sacrificing 4+ hours of my life I'll never get back. A lot of you are probably wondering why I didn't just sell my truck privately. I'm gonna be honest with you: I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle. Too many risks for potentially getting ripped off, doxed, or a return from some angry buyer claiming the vehicle was worse off than it actually was. In short, I just wanted it done right and quickly. In the end, this is the place to go if you want to sell your old vehicle quickly and not get completely ripped off. Don't expect to make a fortune or anything, but....expect a somewhat decent price for not having to sell it privately. One day, I may return to one of these to buy my son an affordable car when the time comes. For now, I'm giving CarMax 3 lonely customers waiting a millennia in the lobby out of 5.

Do not expect support from the service department after you buy your vehicle…read more I purchased my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L from Viva Dodge Chrysler Jeep, and I can honestly say the customer service I received after the sale has been one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had. I fully understand my vehicle is outside the factory warranty. I was not asking for a free repair or for anyone to ignore the warranty. I simply asked for guidance and whether my situation could be reviewed for possible goodwill assistance through Jeep/Stellantis since I purchased the vehicle new from Viva. Instead, Adriana's response was a single text message telling me I was "out of warranty." That was the end of the conversation. No explanation, no discussion of options, no offer to submit a goodwill request, and no effort to advocate for a customer who bought his vehicle from their dealership. I then contacted management hoping someone would actually take ownership of the issue. Instead, I was told I would have to leave my vehicle at the dealership for 3-4 weeks before they would even inspect it to determine whether they could do anything. That is an unreasonable expectation for anyone who relies on their vehicle. After posting my original review, the dealership publicly responded asking me to contact them to discuss my concerns. That response turned out to be completely meaningless. I called exactly as requested, waited on hold, and was transferred right back to the same people who had already dismissed me. Nothing changed. No manager spoke with me. No one took ownership. No one attempted to resolve anything. At this point, their public responses to negative reviews appear to be nothing more than canned responses designed to create the impression that they care. My experience was the exact opposite. If they genuinely wanted to resolve customer concerns, someone with the authority to help would have contacted me instead of sending me back to the same dead end. The true measure of a dealership isn't how they treat you when they're trying to sell you a vehicle--it's how they treat you after the sale. Viva failed that test at every opportunity. After reading other reviews, I realized my experience doesn't appear to be an isolated incident. I only wish I had read them before buying my Jeep.

After 8 days of putting my car in service with a local service center, the problem persisted. The Lemon law or buy back process is horrendously long, so I asked Fox Lexus to do an exchange. Their only offer is a step down for $80 / mo more. My current car is AWD Premium Plus but he is trying to give me a Basic one for more money. WHY? Because there's no equity in the current car. Gee... it's a lemon and it came from your store! It's not time to make more money from me as a new sale, it's time to eat it and do the right thing! At least you could use this car as a loaner... I drive long distances! I can't be stuck on the road at night, again!

I live two hours away and when I traveled to Fox Lexus to have my initial 5000-mile checkup. I was told was supposed to be a fairly quick process. My appointment was at 11:15 and I was there 10 minutes before. My Service Advisor, Art, checked me in and talked to me while chewing some food and asked if I would be leaving or staying. I explained I was from out of town and would stay. He then proceeded to go to lunch for (at least) the next two hours. He apparently did not tell anyone that I was waiting for my vehicle. At 1:30, I finally asked another service advisor if my vehicle was finished and she proceeded to help me. At that point he was still not back. So, I sat in the waiting room, during the lunch hour and watched others come in after me and leave before me. I was never offered anything or spoken to after my initial conversation with Arturo until I approached the other service advisor two hours later. What in the world did they think I was doing there for two hours? From what I could tell my vehicle had been ready for some time because after the service, it was washed. I checked to see if it was still wet anywhere. It was very dry and likely sitting there for a very long time. It is apparent that there are not appropriate systems in place for communication of important information. I would be hard pressed to recommend Fox Lexus for its lack of commitment to the customer (AFTER) they have purchased a vehicle. If anyone is wondering, I bought a 2025 GX 550.

Worst place ever!!!!…read more Do not get your car at this place. They just want to make a sale. They do not care about their customers. It took them 8 months to get us out licenses plate. The only person worth talking to at the Zaragosa/George Dieter location is Juan. My car broke down…read moreand we thought our credit was pretty bad. I got an internet quote from HoyFox VW but I hadn't really pushed it or heard anything. So with what we thought were no other options we called Bestway on a Thursday evening and Juan came and picked us up at 6:30pm. He drove us to the dealership and then to several others just to look at cars that night. He then drove us home because everything was closed and there was nothing we could do. Then the next morning he came and picked us up to actually drive the cars we wanted to. Juan easily spent 8 hours in two days driving us around to look at cars. JUAN IS AWESOME! But then we got to the managers. First on Friday Riley agreed to one price so we went (once again with Juan) to pick the car up from the Westside. When we got back Riley had disappeared and we were left to deal with Carlos. After sitting there for 8ish hours arguing over prices and values, I agreed to come up and meet them halfway from what I was wanting to pay (which was the excellent kbb price but this car was nowhere near excellent) and what they were asking as long as they agreed to fix all the dents and scratches. They countered upping the price $400 more and they would fix nothing! I had been there for so long I told them if they could get the monthly payments where I wanted them then we would do it. Then they told us their computers were too slow to do anything that evening I was ready to walk out and call a cab. The only good thing Carlos did was lend us the car we wanted to buy and told us he would call us the next day when he had 'worked the numbers'. Well it got to be 3pm and he didn't call and we just had some random car so we called there. The woman who answered the phone said everything was done but they couldn't give us any numbers over the phone. So we went up there for the 3rd day in a row. When we got there of course nothing had be done. We waited about a half hour and then sat down with Carlos. Only to find out he was now trying to go through a bank we didn't agree to. We had already been approved by a bank with 7% interest and thus wanted to go with that bank. Well our bank would no longer agree to it because Carlos took it upon himself to add a useless $2500 warranty. We didn't want a warranty or agree to one. He said since he was giving us the internet price (after I had to explain to him that an advertised price is legally binding) the only way he could make any money off the car was to add this bull**** warranty. We were fed up. A few days earlier I had requested and internet quote from HoyFoxVolkswagen and they had emailed me an offer for a brand new 2013 VW Jetta for a price less than what Bestway was trying to charge us for a 2011 VW Jetta that had dents, scratches, crappy tires and almost 40,000. After arguing with Carlos for so long my husband call HoyFox. They came and picked us up 15 minutes before they closed. We left there an hour and a half later the owners of a brand new 2013 VW Jetta with 37 miles on it! Both the monthly payments and the overall price was lower for the new one from Hoy Fox. It also included a no deductible 4 year full coverage warranty. BESTWAY DOES NOT HONOR THEIR INTERNET PRICES UNLESS YOU HAVE CASH (which their website does not say thus making it an illegal advertisement). Every single vehicle they have is over priced. If you think your credit if bad try Hoy Fox first, they will try to work with you (especially if you are military). If you absolutely have to go to bestway DEMAND JUAN as your salesman and refuse to talk to Riley who will just lie right to your face.
