This has to be the most unprofessional car dealership ever, like actually a joke. when I first got here FOR AN APPOINTMENT, the service crew had me waiting for thirty minutes and told me they were busy twice while they proceeded to attend to other customers. When I came to pay for a company veichle with a company card they could not accept it while the payment was coming from Bank of America. The service people were completely unqualified, rude, and flat out not helpful for quite literally any situation. Left a truck back in September of 2024 and didn't get it back until Jan.2 of 2025. Unfortunately it broke down coming from Mexico back to north Texas and we had to get a plane back home . Due to the circumstances we had to leave stuff behind . Once we received the truck back it was damaged on the passagner door . A pair of designer glasses , 2 designer colognes , over 140$ in quarters , drinks and snack were stolen . I called to report it and the "manager" said I'm making accusations. I purchased a truck in February, and after driving it for 7 days it started jerking and having issues and the check engine light turned on, I was able to speak to Aaron who sold me the truck so I was able to take it back in to get it looked at and fixed. A month and a half later im having the same issues, jerking when braking extreme shaking while stopped, and check engine light on. I messaged the person who sold it to me and got no response. Now im stuck paying a truck im not able to use until I get it fixed. I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing a vehicle from this dealership as they sell vehicles that don't work. I took it to be looked at and it it turned out there is a leak in the Gasket cover and there is oil in my spark plugs which is causing a misfire. Brought my 2020 Silverado 1500 in for Lube Oil Filter and Tire rotation on March 16, 2023 (Invoice: CVCQ639382). I had printed a coupon that was emailed to me for $10 off a service. They took my Truck and my coupon and even commented that it was good that I printed the coupon to make it easier. They came out (I believe it was the Service Manager) soon after and told me the the service technician recommended replacing the Air Filter and Cabin Filter. I refused because I had changed them myself. I can get the AC/Delco parts for much less from AutoZone. Later, they came out again to tell me the Truck was ready, but that the coupon was not good for the service (excluded oil change), but conveniently waited until after they had done the work. I asked to see the coupon and yes that is what it said. Told them to not do the Rotation but they said they always do it anyway for free. I don't like how they always tell you they "Recommend" the filters changed, especially when my dash said it has over 80% life left! I don't like that when I replaced my Air Filter, there was NO MARKS on the filter cover indicating that they even looked at it! I don't like how they waited until they already did the work to tell me the coupon was no good, and even after I asked them to get it so I could see, did not offer to make good on it. I don't like the fact that Everyone Knows the Dealer Charges More not only for Labor but for Parts. Yet, we just put up with it. I do like that they offer a free car wash anytime I get service. I came to the service center to have a trunk that did not open checked out. I gave them a history of recent maintenance repairs done over the last month or so. That including front and back battery purchases, which is normal maintenance for a 2014 Malibu. The trunk issue came shortly there after, I went to body shops and they recommended I replace the latch. In purchasing a new latch I plugged in the new to check if that was truly the issue. The service tech decided to install the latch prior to actually diagnose the issue first. Then diagnosis was some ground wire on the left wheel well? That is where the stop/start battery is located and it was operational. So I believe I was charged $400 for nothing. The tech claimed to have repaired some ground wire and could not explain the cause of any of it. The only repreive is that I was able to return the old part for reimbursement of $163. Other than that, I believe they service did nothing right and charged top dollar for the same. There is no ground wire on that side of the vehicle, except the black battery wire. ​ read more

When I got to the dealership, Izzica did a great job at the start. I wish the advisor would work with you from start to finish and letting you know when your car is finished just in case, I have any further questions about my truck. I also felt pressured to have to buy a new filter for my truck, the way the random gentlemen approached me and took me to see the filter was very weird and concerning. I looked at the filter and it wasn't that dirty, and I haven't even had my new truck for a year yet, and this was the second oil change I have had on my truck. It made it seem this random gentleman was just trying to get a sell and pressing me on buying a new filter. It was overall a weird situation to be placed in. This is what I mean about the first advisor (Izzica) should have been with me from start to finish, other dealerships I been to, their advisors are with you to start to finish, I feel this is great customer service when this happens. We were traveling from Los Angeles to Florida to help my son move. We stopped in El Paso for a few days to visit my daughter and grandson. We got on the road to head to Houston for the next leg of our trip when the engine light came on in our truck and I couldn't understand why since we had just had the truck serviced in California. It was something to do with emissions and the diesel exhaust. The notification stated that in 170 miles we would not be able to go over 65 miles an hour. We brought the truck in to Mission Chevrolet and they had the part that we needed. We explained to them that we were on a road trip. They had our truck ready that night. Mike Nunez the service manager was amazing. As were the mechanics that worked on this car. I cannot express how thankful we are to everyone. We are on our way to Houston now. read more

Service department is the worst, zero communication. I dropped off my vehicle on Friday, advisor Jake said he will call me back before the day ends. Jake never called back, I called him on Monday and left a message with Gaby. Jake didn't return my call. I called back Tuesday, couldn't get a hold of Jake. Receptionist Gaby said Jake was busy, left my contact information. Jake didn't return our call, called back and finally got a hold of Jake. He said the service truck that brings in the parts, broke down and service will be delayed for days. 2 hours later, we received a call from Desiree, she said that our vehicle was ready. We called Jake back to determine if our vehicle is ready or not, Jake said it's ready but Mission could not fix the issue. We asked to speak to a Supervisor (Matthew) or a Manager, we were told that no one was available and they are off for the week. read more

When I first walked in to Mission Chevrolet about 4 months ago I told them that I was looking into a purchasing a new truck within the next 4-6 months. The staff understood this and they were not pushy at all. They showed me the Silverado trucks they had and re features. I left informed. When I returned in March, I came in with a custom built truck I had built online. I told them I was ready to buy and I told them that the truck I built was the truck I wanted. They ordered the truck to be built for me from the bottom up. It took about 4 weeks to build and GM even expedited my order. When it arrived about a week ago I was treated like star. They even had a familiarization "class" if you would it that. They showed me pretty much all of the features my truck has and how to use them. They help me set up my onStar account then and there and left on a full tank! I'll be back in about a year for another Chevy from Mission Chevrolet. read more

This review is only for their service department, as I did not purchase my Tahoe from them. First off, it was a breeze setting up the appointment. I thought I was going to get a hard time because we purchased the vehicle somewhere else, out of town. I used the app to do so. We showed up a few minutes early, and were "checked in" right away. It's a 4 month old truck, so it was free oil change, tire rotation, and a complimentary wash. We are in and out in less than 2 hours. Recalls and service appointments are ridiculous. The letter they sent said no appointment necessary and it will take 30-40 minutes. Some guy walks out and says .. maybe before 6 pm. I got here at 745!!!! Ridiculous! I will tell everyone I know how bad they are here and how little they care about the customers after you sign on a new car. My wife was looking for a Chevy Equinox LT at a good price that would fit our budget. A salesman named Hazyel Lopez greeted us and show a number of vehicles in different colors. Hazyel was very friendly, personable and offered us drinks, something other dealership we visited didn't think to offer. He ran back and forth for keys to show us vehicles we wanted to look at and didn't have the typical "I don't care" attitude we've come to expect. After deciding on a vehicle, we spoke to with Jeff McCarty next, whom I assume is a senior salesman for the dealership tasked with closing the deal. The initial price was outside our price range and the monthly payments was too high. We waited for a long time while the price was being worked on. We both hate waiting and having our time wasted so this irritated us a little. At the time, nothing could be done to get the price and payment where we needed to be so we had to walk away from the deal. He told us that he would continue to work on the price and see if anything could be done (I've heard this before from other dealerships so I wasn't expecting anything to come of it) The next day we got a text back from Jeff that he was able to work out the price and get to our target monthly payment while keeping the price down. (We were skeptical. Did they change the vehicle? Remove features to bring down the price? What games were they playing to get the price low and on target?) I was surprised and happy to find out that everything was on the level. Same vehicle, nothing changed. Jeff worked to get the price down and fought for discounts. Nothing crazy; don't think you'll get a car for next to nothing but good deal can be had if you're reasonable. Next came financing with Austin Slaughter. I expected high pressure sales tactics to inflate our price but he was made aware of our strict budget and processed our financing without issue. Overall, I'm very satisfied with how everything went with this purchase. I generally hate dealerships and car buying due to the games they play but everything worked out great from Mission Chevrolet. I recommend this place for oil change and possibly anything else you need done on your Chevy. Everything seemed good and got the services I needed done but 1. Got my oil change and they found an issue with why I have had a sensor in my dash come on saying I need air in my tires even though there were plenty. There was a small nail in one of my tires and when I asked if they can fix it/patch it up, I was told by the location of the nail it was not doable. As I understood the issue I took my car to a Ford place where I had gotten new tires from before and was under warranty but I was told by Ford that the nail was in position enough it could be fixed. They fixed it and so far no problem. Idk why Chevy couldn't do it. read more

on January 7th 2013 I had to take my car to them. It is a 2008 Impala and would not come out of park. I had it towed over there and me and the tow guy stood there for 15 minutes before anyone would even come out of their cubicle and talk to us. They called me and quoted me $237 for repairing a wire, but when I got there the bill was actually $287 due to misc service fees....what crap. The cashier acted like I should consider myself blessed that they would even accept my money....crap service. Bad Bad place. Our car was towed to Mission Chevrolet in El Paso TX on December 22nd. Our radiator had a leak due to someone backing into our car. We asked them to only repair the leak so the vehicle could be driven home. They were asked to see what parts were needed and to order them. Our insurance company asked for an estimate and told them the work and parts would be covered on December 23rd. On the 27th no parts had yet been ordered. There was no communication from Mission from December 28th to January 3rd. Jaime Gutierrez would not answer calls from us and when he finally did he said he would call right back. He never did. When we called on January 4th, we were told we had to guarantee the payment to them before they would release our vehicle. I just went in for basic servicing, an oil change and tire rotation. I showed up about 20 mins before my 11:00 appt, which for me is normal. They took me right in, had me fill out the paperwork. The person whom helped me said they'll start it at 11:00, and it'll take about 1-1.5 hrs, which end seemed like a long time. When my car was finished I received a phone call, if you're in the area they give you a little buzzer that notifies you. I go back to my car and it was freshly washed and everything. I think they did a great job, granted it was just a basic servicing. But I will be going back again! Oh and it was $44 after tax for the servicing. Not bad in my book. read more

So I had my 2014 Chevy Spark towed there to find out what is wrong with it. After one day there I talked to Mike in the service department, he said all they could find wrong was with battery cable was not making a connection. Mike was very nice and said he would fix a recall issue also. I'm thinking Great!!!!. Well today I called him back and he said it was the battery and Now the reservoir was messed up.
