I had the Gel X Overlay Extensions. After 40 years of Acrylic tips with an overlay (on and off), I tried something new. Kateryna did a fantastic job and I really love my nails. [Parking]: There is a free indoor parking garage behind the store. [Merchandise]: Plushies, blind boxes, claw machines, anime-themed utensils / cups / mugs, body care products, clothing accessories, Japanese snacks, Gundam figures, etc. They place a strong focus on Sanrio characters. The plushies in the claw machines were not as impressive as their blind box selection, but it only costs 1 coin per play ($1 per coin). There is also a display of anime action figures near the store entrance. [Gift card]: Load $100 and get a $5 bonus. Load $300 and get a $20 bonus. Load $500 and get a $50 bonus. There is also an exclusive membership that earns 1 point for every $1 spent. Redeem 50 points for $1 in savings. Nice balcony, and actually saw a hot air balloon land in the nearby parking lot! Pool area was decent with lots of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. I stood at the register with 4 "employees" within sight and they stood around "making themselves busy" for quite a few minutes to the point I had to "ring the bell for service" even though they all very obviously seen me. Not to mention, once someone made it to the register, there was no greeting, no eye contact, not a word, rang us up and then up and walked away to grab a manager. All while we sat there waiting. It wasn't until the "supervisor" came over to explain the system had crashed. My instant fix to this is to buy online, which contributes to sales going down in store which leads to the store shutting down and leaving us with more empty retail spaces that bring no economic mobility to the community and are a eyesore for all to see while inviting criminal activities and trespassers. I ordered some items online on May 31st. I received a notice that the ordered was delayed and then I got the ready to pick up I was told their policy is to pick up within 72 hours. It's only 6/2/26 so I'm still trying to figure out how I am over the 72 hour period. So I get there and Atzin helps me. He says my order was put back because I was late and over the 72 hour period and I would have to go and get the stuff myself. I'm not sure why he is on the register when he can't count days. I'm hoping the system doesn't shut down. So as I was walking away to go get the stuff, Octavio comes to the counter. I can hear the two discussing the situation as I was looking at the candy bars in the candy aisle which is that far away. Octavio calls me and says that I don't have to go get my order myself and that he would. I agree with him that this is the correct response instead of a worker asking me to do what they were supposed to do. I had just gotten off work and I didn't feel like addressing this. Octavio brings everything I ordered to the counter while Atzin insisted that my order should have been cancelled. I just had received the email remind me that it would be cancelled after today but I guess he thought it should have been already. I was really grateful that Octavio helped me. As I was leaving, what appeared to be the manager discussing something with someone else. Instead of ignoring me as some stores do, he allowed me to exit first instead of almost colliding with me as some employees from other stores have. Thank you for your good customer service. This has been one of the worst pharmacy experiences I've ever had. The staff are consistently rude,…read moredismissive, and unprofessional. Almost every interaction feels uncomfortable because there is always an attitude, eye-rolling, or rude facial expressions when I ask simple questions or try to get help. As a customer, it honestly feels disrespectful and unnecessary. What upset me the most was seeing how my grandmother, who is in her 60s, was treated. She left crying after feeling yelled at by staff. No customer, especially an older person coming in for healthcare-related needs should leave feeling humiliated or afraid to ask questions. I understand pharmacies can be busy and stressful, but that does not excuse disrespectful behavior toward patients. I genuinely hope management or HR looks into how customers are being treated here because this has been an ongoing issue and the experience has been unacceptable.
