It began with a virtual consultation with Nadine and Sofia to go over the details of the photoshoot and next steps. Since I am pregnant and also have two boys, I wanted the photoshoot to be special by capturing our growing family. We decided on a maternity and family holiday photoshoot, which included variety of backgrounds and outfits. The next step was scheduling a in-person fitting prior yo the shoot to try on a few dresses. Sofia put together a styling sheet and provided suggestions on what to wear for my family to coordinate nicely. Sofia also provided a timeline on the day of the shoot, which was very helpful. As a busy pregnant working mom, the best thing about this entire experience was getting professional hair and makeup done at the studio! Shoutout to artist Veronica for making me feel and look my best. I have done two sunrise family photoshoots in the past, and I absolutely do not have the energy, time, or desire to get ready on my own. I also had a maternity in-studio photoshoot done last year, I had to go get makeup and hair done in two different places, then drive an hour, which by then my curls were no longer holding. Not at Sachiko Studios, they will take care of you from beginning to end, and you will feel fresh. After getting hair and makeup done, we did a quick maternity photoshoot session. My family met us at the studio and we did the holiday photoshoot. The in-studio photos of our family portraits turned out lovely. For outdoor shoot, we drove to Bradbury's Bridge, which was about 15 min away. I loved the fall and natural backdrops. Having the option of doing an outdoor photoshoot was great because it captured our active kids candidly. Nadine was so great with my kids! She was able to capture my youngest looking happy and all smiles. She rewarded my oldest for being good at following directions.

Finally came to a place in my business where I felt like I needed some professional branding…read morephotos. My business is ALL me and I needed help capturing what I do to launch on my website. My photo session included hair and makeup by one of Nadine's stylists, Quendy (highly recommend!!) and wardrobe! That really helped because my closet consists of leggings and sweaters lol. We did 3 outfit changes, Nadine shot some of my products, and action shots with a model. Nadine made the whole experience very comfortable and fun for someone who is *really* shy and prefers to stay behind the camera. I love how my photos came out and excited for another photo session in the future!

If I could give them negative stars I would! I got a deal from Groupon for a shoot for my baby and I first called they told me I would have to put a $40 deposit to reserve the appointment but the money would be refunded or added to more purchase if I feel to do so and I said but Groupon didn't mention anything about a deposit and he very rudely said "it's in the fi e print you have to read closer next time" I was like "wow!" But I already paid for the Groupon and really wanted this shoot to happen so I made the reservation and the day came my daughter got sick and couldn't make it so I said could I reschedule due to unfortunately circumstances and he said sorry we can't but we'll happy to schedule you another shoot for an additional $40 I said ok fine and charged my card again now this time it was my fault I'm a single father with five kids and running a business and you would think after charging me $80 they would at least do a curtesy reminder but nope! My busy day went by and not even a phone call from them and let me.... throw this in as well both time I tried to make an appointment they made it sound like they were so busy and such a high end studio and when I went by the other day it's some dinky studio in the mall and there was no one even there or no one going in or out in fact the guy (assuming it was the same rude individual) working was just sitting there on his phone texting for as long as I was standing there like 20 or 30 minutes so yeah don't be fooled or ripped off save your money go else where! I came in last Saturday to get my prom pictures taken. I can honestly say that both my date and I felt completely comfortable in front of the photographer. I thought, like everywhere else, that the photographer was going to make us feel like objects and super awkward. But to our surprise it wasn't like that at all! As soon as we checked in, we were offered food, drinks, and a free photo booth session while we waited to be called. By the time we finished taking pictures in the photo booth, we were being called. The actual picture taking took about ten minutes, which gave us time to eat something with our friends before prom started. We got to choose and pick up our photos the next day. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for easy, fast, affordable, and great quality photos. I'm definitely going back for my grad pictures! Hope this helps! read more

I hope this place stays around for a while. Maybe I'm stuck in the 90s, but I really miss the straightforward simple studio photos. Especially for things like childhood and adolescent milestones. The outdoor photos done by individual career photographers these days are beautiful but they often come with a very heavy price tag. When you need pictures of your growing baby, a simple graduation photo or even a simple photo for a milestone event like a sweet 16 or quinceanera, kind of photo studios are great. They are just super hard to come by these days, and the current trends and I'm pretty sure they are dying out. Our photographer was so kind. She was super friendly with my toddler and was able to get a bunch of really sweet photos. We plan to be back again and again read more

As parents, coordinating schedules for babies is not easy. We need time to confirm naps, feeding schedules, parents' availability, etc. I completely understand requiring a deposit, but I genuinely didn't expect zero flexibility after hours of communication. Normal logic would be: confirm a workable time first then pay the deposit. Their policy was: pay first then maybe continue discussing the schedule. And this is not a cheap studio either: $600 for 15 photos. For that price, I expected at least some professionalism and empathy toward families with small children. Timeline: * 2:51 PM -- discussed the time, I replied "should work" * 5:08 PM -- I officially confirmed * 5:51 PM -- they replied: "No availability anymore" I spent two hours coordinating schedules. They took one hour to reply, and the final answer was simply: "No availability." At this point, I honestly feel like some LA businesses have become way too comfortable ignoring customer experience.

I thought that was such a kind and nice gesture. My kids told us that they had a fun time there as if everything was a game. We haven't had a professional photo shoot in years because I had a traumatizing experience with another photographer who did not show up and we were waiting in the middle of a mountain. At first I was nervous to do this photoshoot But Vlove came recommended by a friend. I'm so glad I booked the mini session and I look forward to our final edited photos !

My photo session included hair and makeup by one of Nadine's stylists, Quendy (highly recommend!!) and wardrobe! That really helped because my closet consists of leggings and sweaters lol. We did 3 outfit changes, Nadine shot some of my products, and action shots with a model. Nadine made the whole experience very comfortable and fun for someone who is *really* shy and prefers to stay behind the camera. I love how my photos came out and excited for another photo session in the future!

We had the pleasure of doing a "fresh 48" photoshoot, and thanks to her flexibility, Toni was able to come to the hospital the morning our baby was born. This gave us beautiful, priceless memories of our newborn's very first moments. In addition to the "fresh 48" shoot, I worked with Toni for announcement photos and photos with her grandparents. Each time, she spent quality time ensuring the baby was in a good mood (which was super helpful, especially when there was no feeding schedule!). She meticulously adjusted the lighting and every other detail to perfection. Toni's dedication to her craft and her patience with our little one truly set her apart. My first photo shoot with her was for my solo realtor business cards. My next photo shoot included my business partner, who is a bit camera shy. Toni did an excellent job talking us through poses and giving us suggestions. Even if you feel ridiculous in a pose, you may find yourself pleasantly surprised by the outcome. When it comes to editing, she listens to your asks and makes it happen. If she doesn't know how, she'll find out. Long story short, I very much enjoy working with Toni because she makes me feel comfortable and is open to my feedback. That goes a long way when working with photographers.
