My first impression of ViVi Pho as I entered for lunch was not positive due to a strong unappetizing odor-perhaps cleaning solution. I believe there was a bucket left near the entrance. It's much more pleasant and expected to smell delicious food. The atmosphere reminds one of a fast food restaurant with no decor and hard benches and tables. That can be overlooked if the food is exceptional but I found the food more average. My Ga Pho (shredded chicken) was lacking the ginger sauce described on the menu and the broth did not have a lot of depth. I did enjoy the accompanying bean sprouts, chilis and basil to add to my pho. My friend said his grilled shrimp plate was "just ok". read more

Their spring rolls are really tasty as well. Service was pretty good too. My only knock on them is that they (and many restaurants in Colorado) do not have physical menus. It's only available using a QR code. Any smart cybersecurity professional will tell you that QR codes open your device up for numerous vulnerabilities. I ate here last Friday and spent 3 days in the hospital with Ecoli poisoning. I have never been so sick I felt like I was going to die. Review for Panang curry only- I assume they must do better with their pho (assuming they're a Vietnamese restaurant!) Got their panang curry to go and was disappointed when I got home by how little curry was actually in the container. Most of it was full of vegetables and probably had less than 1/2 cup of actual sauce. I'm used to getting a 32 oz container of curry at other places, and this was sooo much less! The potatoes were extremely undercooked and roughly cut, and the chicken was chewy and fairly inedible. Stopped in to Vivi Pho after running errands one Saturday. As first time diners at this place, the staff was very helpful and very friendly from the start. Our waiter gave wonderful suggestions for food to order. We tried the Vivi Special Appetizer that sampled three different appetizers. It was a great way to do a toe-dip as to their flavors via 2 egg rolls, 2 chicken dumplings, and 2 cheese wontons. Very good, though I probably wouldn't order it again. I was in town for a weekend business trip and wanted some pho. I saw this on Google maps and asked one of the locals if they thought it was good. They said yes. I'm glad I stopped in. It's what one would expect for a pho restaurant. Nothing fancy in terms of decor, but IMHO, the Tai Pho was delicious. The broth was hot, flavorful, and the meat was raw when brought out but cooked right in front of my face. I got the medium size and should have gotten the small because it was plenty of phood (get it, pho food phood?! Yes I'm a nerd). I was glad that they got rid of any cilantro in either my spring rolls or pho, because I'm one of those people that have the "cilantro is soap" gene. I called 40 min after I ordered and the contrite business owner explained to me that it wasn't his fault the website farms his orders out. But - the business owner picks the service for their website? So... When I explained this to him - he hung up on me. No apologies. No explaining. Just cold food that isn't even here yet.... ...I then went to the restaurant where the owner blamed - skipli / DoorDash / but no direct ownership of the issue. We stopped by ViVi based on reviews and because they were on our way to the hotel we're staying at for the night and I'm so glad we did! We had a brief, late lunch - just a couple small pho, but what we had was delicious with friendly service, hence the 5 stars. Their menu is online so you need a QR scanner (who doesn't have one these days), for the hour we were there (330 pm on a Sunday) about half the tables were full, but they got our orders fairly quickly (waited for about 5 mins) since there was only one person handling dining in and take our orders. He brought out water when he came to take orders as well. Our food arrived very quickly and I'm happy to report the small size is actually what you'd expect when someone orders a small size - but the broth was very flavorful for both orders, there was plenty of meat in both, and a ton of noodles. The veggies that were brought on the side were plentiful and looked very clean and just fresh (4 large slices of lime, jalapeños, tons of basil, and a ton a of bean sprouts). Overall ViVi is not very close to us though I wish it were since we definitely would have liked to come by here more often in the future! However, if we're close by and in the mood for pho, we will be stopping by! read more

Located at the Skyline Center Shopping Mall, this little family-owned restaurant is a convenient place to stop by to satisfy a Pho fix. The waiter was chill and friendly. I ordered the large size vegetable Pho, which had tofu, a hearty amount of vegetables, and great broth. It was a slow day when we went, which worked out for us because the food came out within a short amount of time. They did well accommodating a party of 7. Live around the corner from this place and usually leave very satisfied. The service is great even when they're busy and there's always this one guy working who is the friendliest server I've ever met, he never fails to make great conversation and seems like he just loves talking to people. My go to here is the summer rolls and a P8. Dac Biet Pho. Honestly hard to write a review about the summer rolls, all I know is that I love them. As for the pho the regular size is pretty big so only go for the large if you're starving. The broth is always amazing and is definitely the star of the dish. It was prepared in advance and kept in the refrigerator so they were liquid free meaning no water was dripping from the sprouts. There was only one lime slice. The chili paste was missing. However, if I asked, I'm sure they would have brought them out. Soup was bit blend. Kinda like...watered down taste. Chin and tai was plentiful and noodles were cooked perfectly. Frustrating Friday night spent here at Vivi Pho. Our cousins were in town with their two kids and wanted to try Denver pho. They were staying in Arvada while we're in Aurora so we wanted to find somewhere between us. Vivi had great reviews but I noticed the space was small. I called an hour ahead to give them a heads up that we'd have a party of 7 coming in. They said there were two large tables that could seat 8 and it would be no problem (but they don't take reservations). Of course, when we arrive both of these tables are full (with parties of 4 sitting at them!). And the restaurant is packed with people waiting for takeout. So we were all piled on top of each other at the door. I understand it's a Friday night so it was busy but they were definitely understaffed. We said it would be no problem for us to wait but it ended up being over an hour! Just to get pho. It was so chaotic that we had to grab our own high chair and then grab our own menus. At this point, it was already 7:30pm and our one year old who's usually in bed by 8pm was starting to lose it. Our cousins' kids were also super tired from flying in from the East coast. But even after we ordered, the food still took a long time to come out. I had to get up and ask them again what was taking so long. I think because they were getting so many online orders. The waiter forgot silverware for us and even the toppings for the pho (bean sprouts, lime, mint leaves). Everyone was frustrated so it was hard to enjoy the meal. We regret bringing them here as there are so many great Vietnamese restaurants in Denver. And Vivi was just disappointing all around. Definitely did not impress our Denver visitors. read more

This place is such a delicious little find. The service was warm and attentive - the staff clearly take pride in the resistant, the food, and the customer experience. The space is modest but comfortable. We had the bad buns, which were delicious. I had the noodle plate and was awed by the presentation. The assortment of meats was tasty and the serving of noodles was plentiful. My fiancé tried one of their pho soups. I forget the name, but it had the beef and meatballs. The broth had a good meaty flavor and the medium was huge! We didn't get a chance to try the bubble tea - next time - but we will absolutely order from here again. Looking forward to grabbing take out from here the next night I don't want to cook. The fact that the restaurant is a short walk away makes this a great little place to stop in and eat! read more

I used to love this place. I ordered spring rolls from Uber eats and there was a mistake. It was labeled with a vegetarian tag, and also listed in the description with the meat (I did not see this because i saw the vegetarian labeled, which I thought I could trust). (See photo) Anyway, after hours of trying to contact Uber eats, I called ViVi pho. He first told me i was wrong and I didn't ask for vegetarian. I was then argued with and yelled at by the person on the phone for not listening to him, when in fact I couldn't get a word in. He told me I'm not listening, therefore he does not want to help me. He got frustrated with me almost immediately. He also initially told me I was wrong that it wasn't marked on the order. I am pretty disappointed with how this situation went. To be clear, I'm not upset about the Uber thing. That was a mistake. I'm upset that when I brought it to their attention, I wasn't treated kindly, but instead argued with. Pretty unfortunate. I called back and apologized if my tone came off rude. I asked if I could get a chance to explain my side and I did. I then brought up that I thought he was disrespectful. This is definitely my go to place!! The vegetarian egg rolls and the shrimp fried rice for the wife keeps us coming!! Also the staff is pretty amazing as well and I like that I know who will be there at the counter and behind the kitchen. Today we ordered the usual shrimp fried rice, a kids meal that consist of a grilled meat and noodles on the side as well as the vegetarian egg rolls!! The food is definitely authentic and so flavorful. I've had the pho as well and it's so filling. The veggies are always fresh and plenty to go around. Definitely fills the bowl and makes the pho hearty and your belly feeling full when you leave. This place is somewhere we will continue to come to as long as we live in Denver.
