I explained to Mr. M, We are ok if you separate us into 2 groups of 6, we don't have to sit with each other. He was like it'll be about 30 minutes or so. That was fine with us, we weren't all there yet. So after discussing with my family we decided to check in on the Yelp kiosks with two parties of 6s. When everyone arrived (we ended having 11 people total), we rechecked in the kiosk with all parties arrived. My bro in law got text later that their table was ready so their party got seat. While I and the rest of the family waited, we noticed a few booths opened in the front of the restaurant (btw there wasn't anyone else waiting, just us 5). We asked, since it's 4 adults and 1 baby if we could sit there with another server and he was more than happy to take care of us. He even asked if we needed a booster chair for the baby. Mr. M stepped in and told the server no he can't seat us and he came up to us and told us we can't sit there cause it's up to 4 people only and told us "I told you that you would have to wait a long time". We were really shocked with his attitude towards us. Since the baby was getting really hungry we told the rest of my family we are just going somewhere else. Apologized to my sister because we couldn't even eat on her birthday together. All I can say now is "wow, really!!!" I've been going here for so many years because I enjoyed the food and their service and now i'm not sure I want to come back". Btw this isn't the first time we came here with a large group. We have been seated multiple times and we have been in the other side of the building when they used it in the past. If my sister reads this: Happy now belated Birthday, jie!!! Vivid Bibim is a must-try for bibimbap lovers! If you're looking for a colorful, flavorful, and satisfying meal, this place delivers. Just a heads-up, the old JP Seoul Tofu House sign is still up, so don't second-guess yourself when you pull up. You're in the right place. Their dolsot bibimbap is next-level. The wide stone-pot bowl allows the rice to crisp up perfectly, creating that golden, crunchy texture that's exactly what you want in a proper dolsot bibimbap. By default, they use multi-grain purple rice, which not only makes the dish even more vibrant but also gives it a slight nutty flavor and an extra health boost. If you're more of a white rice traditionalist, just ask, they've got that too. Every ingredient is fresh and bold, and they even include fernbracken, which is a nice touch. Hands down one of the best bibimbaps I've ever had. It's packed with veggies, so I'd say it's dietitian-approved...or at least that's what I'm telling myself. Another hit? The ramen with rice cake (tteokbokki). Instant noodles, a perfectly cooked egg, fish cake, and just the right amount of sweet heat -- simple, satisfying, and ridiculously good. The LA Galbi is also a standout. It comes with samjang and lettuce wraps that are already prepped for you: hand-selected, cut, and boiled, so all you have to do is assemble and enjoy. The banchan ties everything together, making it a full, well-rounded meal. On top of all that, the service is attentive and friendly. They make sure you're taken care of, explain menu items if needed, and are just overall welcoming, quick to refill banchans, which makes the dining experience even better. Don't sleep on this place! My son and I dined at this Korean restaurant for the first time at dinner time, and it was such a wonderful experience. While the food was delicious, the real highlight of our visit was the exceptional service we received from the two ladies who took care of us. They were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive throughout our meal, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We tried several dishes, including the japchae, seafood pancake, and kimchi fried rice--all of which were flavorful and perfectly prepared. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. We also loved the variety of banchan, especially the fish cake--it was our absolute favorite! It was so tasty that they generously refilled it for us two or three times, and we appreciated that extra attention so much. My son even made sure I gave a good tip because he was so impressed by how kind and thoughtful the servers were. That says a lot! LOL. Overall, this restaurant left a great impression on us. The tofu was quite silky, and fried just enough on the exterior. The sauce with the tofu was absolutely delicious. This meal was very comforting and was just perfect for me. While I'm not vegetarian, it was a comforting non-meat dish. The price point was quite solid for it too, coming out to $15.95 before tax and tip.

I went with family members for a quick dinner. They seated us at an awkward table where is was hard for me to move my chair and get up lol. We ordered: fried calamari crab salad garlic green beans chicken teriyaki dinner sweet and sour pork salmon nigiri egg rolls lion queen roll stand outs for me were the crab salad (always good every time i order), and garlic green beans (flavorful, crunchy, just yummy). The calamari was good too, but I was also expecting smaller bits of calamari, not just the rings. My aunt wasn't a fan of the sauce! Beef fried rice was pretty standard, good but nothing crazy. Lion queen roll was also yummy but seems like the rolls was not packed tightly because it was falling apart at the lightest touch. Sweet and sour pork was okay. Salmon nigiri was okay. We did have a laugh at how big the dishes they served the food on were. It was HUGE, like all this food took up 2 tables. The plate holding the lion queen roll was longer than my forearm. Portions are equally as huge. It's expensive, but you're definitely getting a big portion to share.
