On top of that, my cat must have been upset she wasn't invited, because a couple days after we returned home, she had a seemingly intentional accident in very close proximity to the dress. Although the dress was in a bag at the time, both the dress and the veil ended up with a slight odor to them. After that, I decided it was time to look into cleaning options. I had already been to Five Star in the past, so I used the Yelp project feature to reach out to them as well as a few other cleaners in the Sacramento area. They were very responsive and their pricing to clean and preserve the dress was very reasonable, so I decided to go with them. The turnaround time for cleaning was about a week, which is exactly what they estimated. They showed me the dress before it was boxed so I could confirm it was properly cleaned. There were no more mud stains, and the odor was completely gone! After I inspected the dress, they asked me to come back in a day or two after they had time to box it. It was wedding and prom season, so they were a little busy, and I told them I was in no rush to get the dress back. I went back a few days later and picked up a large box. There was an outer, regular, storage box and inside was a large preservation box that had a display window. It looked great! Oh, and to top it all off, I had originally only inquired about cleaning and boxing for the dress, but when I asked how much it would be to add the veil, they included it for free! Thank you!!

Looked to be some kind of dirty oil, probably from the conveyor that holds all the garments. I returned the shirt for them to remedy and they were unable to completely remove the mark, and in the process they added another mark to the shirt. Mike called and says he doesn't see anything and that I am making things up and they would not refund me or compensate for the damaged shirt. He proceeded to say this has always been their policy to not pay for damaged garments. I quote "we are not up to your standards don't bring us your white shirts".... My standard being, don't damage a brand new shirt and then not take responsibility. At one point Mike told me to return it to Macy's. Unethical business practices. When I show up in-person to speak with Mike he changes his tune and admits to now being able to see the marks! But they won't do anything further to replace the shirt. I have been going here for 4 years and have never had to bring back a single item to be cleaned again. I would suggest to anyone who cares about their professional or delicate clothing to avoid this group as they do not take responsibility for their mistakes and based on other reviews I am not the first.

Full version: My husband brought my white designer dress shorts to be dry cleaned. Upon getting the shorts home I noticed the fabric was discolored - it turned a dingy gray color. The shorts had a matching belt so my husband returned to the dry cleaners and showed the owner the color difference. The owner indicated that white clothing will sometimes become discolored but that he'd try to get the color as close to the original color/matching belt. My husband returned a couple weeks later and the owner said he couldn't find the shorts and he must have given it to another client but instructed my husband to return in several weeks in hopes whoever he gave the shorts to would realize they had the wrong shorts. My husband returned over month later and the shorts are still missing so at this point my husband asked to be reimbursed for the shorts and the owner refused claiming "he doesn't do that." He told my husband he would give us a dry cleaning credit worth half of what the shorts cost which was $223 before tax. We do not want a credit because the dry cleaner damaged the shorts and then he lost it and subsequently will not pay to replace the shorts. Terrible business practices and no accountability for damaging the shorts and the misplacing it altogether. We will not return to this place.
