I feel nostalgic whenever I visit pho Vietnam as I've been coming here for.....I've lost count. Definitely more than 15 years. As an introvert I don't really greet or chat with staff but it's hard to not notice familiar faces through the years of visiting them. I've always appreciate their value of their meals as well as how fast their service is. The service is not personable but I rather have efficiency than wait a hour for friendly service. But I regret to say their quality and value has taken a hit. I don't mind the price going up but the combination of the increased price with smaller portion and then the declining quality was not the best experience. I'm really hoping that today is not their baseline and that the next time I visit would be what I expect from them. read more

I am so sad about this post. I've been going to Pho Vietnam from the very beginning. I have always been welcomed quickly and efficiently with really quality food. That was not my experience for the 3x I've been. The first 2x I thought maybe they're just having a bad day. Today was the third time I a row I was disappointed. Not just a little disappointed not one person at our table could even finish our meal. The food was dry, unseasoned, and just simply awful. One of the better ones in the area. We got food for takeout since I was dying at home and needed something brothy. My compatriot had been here a number of times and it is her go to. I got the vegetarian pho, partner the rare steak, and a chicken spring roll to share. The peanut sauce with the spring roll was nice, not too sweet. The chicken not too dry. The broth was good, nice temp and good flavor. Ingredients were pretty good. I liked the different types of veggies they threw into the vegetarian tho I'd probably want more cauliflower or broccoli but that's just personal preference. I came here after an appointment kn a very cold Friday to have some hot delicious pho!! Taste just like how I remembered it, broth is tasty but I noticed there's less meat and there's more fat. The peanut sauce is too runny than normal, I know inflation is bad but the quality of food is not worth sacrificing for a few bucks. Service was fast but not very friendly. Food is decent. They've just gotten greedy with the servings and food items included. I tried to call and modify an order and even offered to pay more and they were unable to do it. I simply wanted less rice and more salad in exchange. Spring rolls weren't added to the orders, they only sent the dipping sauce for the rolls but no rolls were included. The rolls are my favorite part of the entire order so that was extremely disappointing. Overall, I just don't like how skimpy they've been with the food, especially for what we pay for. Table for one please! Was craving the comfort of an extra large bowl of Pho. When you enter, there are signs pointing you to where to stand: left side for dine in, right side for paying your bill and Togo orders. I was greeted from a a distance with "How many?" to which I reply with one finger in the air. I was waved over to sit at a seat for one next to the kitchen. I'm promptly given a menu, she returns with ice water and silverware. I take a few minutes to browse the menu. Now I want eggrolls, Spring Rolls and Bun. Totally not what I came for. Decided on the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio aka Vermicelli with grilled pork and eggrolls. Food was served in less than 10 minutes. Exactly the way I wanted it with plenty of veggies and generous portion of meat. My meal was good, service wasn't great but you don't come here for good service. Once the food was delivered, they don't come back and you have to go to the front to pay for your meal. I come here for 3 consistent items: Spring Rolls, Pho and Bun. I have been here a handful of times over the years. Used to get their seafood stir fry quite a bit and as always, their pho ga. The broth is tasty and HOT, the shredded chicken breast, onions and rice noodles are plentiful! Their pho is pretty darn good, service is not the best. Today when I called for take out they didnt have avocado smoothie (sold out yesterday!) nor chicken fried rice (the chef isn't in yet!). I was afraid to ask for anything else so just stuck with the usual chicken pho at least they have that. Like others say you dont come here for the ambience or the service. First time here, the space is clean and large. It was very busy which is always a good sign. Tried the beef pho and bbq beef plate with shrimp. Both entrees were delicious. However, I wish the shrimp was more than just 3. The pho was good. The service could've definitely been more attentive. I think I'll give this place another shot. I've dined here many times over the year mainly for lunch because I work near by. Today, I decided to order something different from the menu than my normal pho. I ordered "CF4" which clearly stated chow-fun (not chowmein). The male waiter took the order and later served me the chowmein. I immediately waved him over, and told him it was a wrong order. He immediately rolled his eyes n shake his head and told me that I ordered a chowmein, not chowfun. I asked for a menu to confirm. He reluctantly brought back the menu n pointed to me "CF4" and verbally said "you ordered CF4, it's chowmein". I then, point the English description of this order which clearly says "chow fun". He looked at the wording, and told me with an angry voice that it will take a long time to change. I then told him that I rather wait for the item I ordered. A place like this, I was not expecting a special treating but just a common curtesy, but this person's attitude is the worst I have experienced at this restaurant and I felt the need to report this incident on Yelp. Big restaurant and pretty busy with a good mix of Asian and non Asian customers. I had the combo pho, chicken wings, and egg rolls. Pho broth was a little more rich than I prefer but flavorful and well made. Chicken wings were spicy on the menu. I asked for them to not be spicy as I was ordering for my kid. I also asked for them to come as an appetizer rather than with the meal. They came after the soup was served and they were spicy. The server had a pretty bad attitude and a deep scowl throughout. The staff was bickering and arguing with each other throughout my visit. She did offer to swap the chicken wings out for egg rolls and I accepted. I came here before my country concert for some recovery food and quick lunch and there was no wait. They sat us down right away and the restaurant is very spacious and has nice seating. This is THE restaurant we use as the bar whenever we try other pho places. My dad (who's a native Vietnamese) is a pho fanatic and will seek out pho restaurants no matter where we travel to, and Pho. Inna's is his standard for both their Pho Dac Biet (pho special) and Com Thit Nuong (rice plate with bbq pork). The rice plates are my favorite and they offer similar variety with vermicelli noodles as well, both good options if you're not actually a fan of pho. Their bbq pork for the rice plates has not changed in the 20+ years that I've been eating here, always delicious with cuts of meat that retain some of the fat so it's never too dry. The meat is also bbq'ed and charred to perfection, something that other restaurants rarely achieve, not to mention Pho Vietnam has always given a generous portion of rice and meat on their plates that has never gotten smaller over the years, even with inflation. Both my parents and fiance also really love the Bun Bo Hue, another Vietnamese classic that they make with the perfect amount of spice (my dad is extremely weak with spice so it makes him sweat but he powers through because it's worth it!) and lots of flavor with lemongrass and hearty, typical BBH toppings too. While the service isn't always the best, it's just typical Asian restaurant nonchalance but they'll get you what you need! There's a divider just inside the doors for dine in vs take out and if you stand in the "dine in" line, you might have to catch a worker's eye but they'll seat you and bring you menus and water quickly. Im going to start off by saying I think this spot is the most consistent and delicious pho in Sonoma County. Tonight the unthinkable happened.... while enjoying my small #15, my 3 month old baby had a blowout (parents, you know what im talking about!) I rush to the bathroom only to find my worst nightmare... NO CHANGING TABLE. In my desperate nature I loaded up the water tank surface of the toilet with a ton of toilet seat covers and laid my baby on the small hard surface to change her very dirty diaper. After conquering the impossible, I went to wash my hands and of course no soap. Talk about pouring salt on a wound lol. My coworkers love this place so this is the second time I have came here with them. I wish the menu had pictures so I could visually see what I am ordering.
