I recently revisited Savor and had a DELICIOUS bowl of pho. Maybe they improved over the past year or maybe it was just my taste buds?

The food is great as a small Vietnamese take out or casual quick dine in. Stumbled upon it for boba which was really good and then came back for Pho which was really delicious broth with lots of meat. The staff is all really nice. Both times nice going cashiers who answered questions and made suggestions. Glad to have found this! read more

Gave them another try and they did not mess up. The Bahn Mi sandwiches are delicious as well as their steak plate which comes with a fried egg and grilled on a fajita plate. Hope their service and food continue to improve. read more

Nice spot with indoor and outdoor seating, great fruit teas and banh mis. The banh mi was really solid, the bread has a crunchy exterior with soft inside that isnt too chewy, and the flavour of the contents come together really well - basically nothing too extravagant, just a really good textbook banh mi. Phenomenal customer service! Really nice ambiance inside. Also, they just updated their patio set for outside. I didn't know this boba place was here and had been going to the other one. I like this one better because I can get food as well. It's also local owned so the money is going back into our community instead of some large store bank account bank account. Savor Vietnamese Cuisine and Boba Tea is in the Lakewood Village area of Windsor. We have eaten here a few times, both in the restaurant and gotten out food to go. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, which is really convenient! The area has plenty of parking so that is another positive about this restaurant. Everyone that works here is so friendly and welcoming! I absolutely love the Crispy Organic Tofu Banh Mi Sandwich. It's my absolute favorite! With that being said, I have tried several other entrees here as well and love them all! The portions are generous and the food is delicious! All of the ingredients are really fresh! I also ordered the Lychee Peachee Tea and it was delicious and refreshing! They have lots of different teas to choose from! Will definitely be coming back in the future! First time here and it was an ok experience. You order at the front but you can also order on your own at the kiosk if you like. I ordered seafood noodle soup and rice noodles combination. The broth was really good and the combination was just ok. This place is kind of expensive to me considering it is an order at the front and you grab everything else yourself (utensils, water, togo boxes, sauces, etc). I feel like it's about the same price at the dine in place. I also ordered a strawberry milk tea with boba and I actually did not like it at all. Boba was way too chewy and it took me good 30 seconds to be able to swallow it. I ended up not eating the boba at all. I ordered taro milk tea home without boba and the taro was actually really good. Overall it was an ok experience. Food was good but nothing impressive. I would still come back though. Milk tea was good except boba. The front lady was nice. You know what, it's okay. I'm not impressed or wowed or anything. It's been overall a basic experience. The spicy beef noodle soup I thought tasted nothing like bun bo hue, which is a traditional soup you can find in all pho restaurants. This was not spicy and instead sweet, which was a confusing flavor profile with beef. I'd say the beef was really tender and that's something I did enjoy. The noodles however were not great. The pho's okay too. I appreciate the quality of vegetables. Very fresh. I've had the tofu and veggies pho too and broth was okay. Lacked flavor overall. Also, I've had the spicy popcorn chicken. Very tough, not spicy at all. We ordered over the phone. They forgot the wontons and noodles for our other soup. Only gave us noodles lol such a bummer. Would expect the service to be better since I have been recommend here. Will give them another shot. Still need to try that wonton soup! read more

Recently ordered tofu and veggie pho, to go! Food was ready quickly and packaged nicely in components. I assembled my pho at home and was delighted to find a ton of fresh veggies and a healthy portion of tofu. The hot, flavorful broth satisfied my hunger for warmth and coziness on a cool, damp evening. And I made two meals out of it. The whole staff was so attentive and kind, the wait time was minimal for so much food, and the food was DELICIOUS. We accidentally forgot to order something off the menu and even though they had already closed, they made it for us, so sweet! I had the barbecue pork vermicelli with egg roll. I had it delivered. The egg roll was terrible. It is not what I expected or wanted. The pork on the other hand, has so much flavor and is really delicious. They put a lot of it in the bowl, too. Not much noodles, sometimes there's too much noodles with this dish. Really a lot of meat. A few cucumbers, a few carrots, it's a little oily. The vinegar sauce must have a little oil in it. A really good dish, except for the eggrolls. read more

Excellent bahn mi sandwiches here. My favorite is the lemon grass pork. The meat is nicely grilled with a delicious combination of the usual pickled vegetables. Solid 4 - we've been coming now for over a month at least once a week. The place is small, we've always ordered at counter - defiantly has that "fast food casual vibe" as you have to get your own waters, utensils etc - so if you're wanting table service, and more comfort this isn't the place. That said - we've found wonderful dishes which keeps us returning. Hubby's go to is the vermicelli bowl with bbq pork. It's a noodle salad with a sweet tangy dressing. The bbq pork is well seasoned and chopped up. I like the spicy lemongrass beef pho. The base is delicious, and with pho you add the accruements, including jalapeños to increase the heat to your desire. Super large, and always taking half home for lunch the following day. My other go to is the red curry chicken. I get the side of rice and dump it in. It's extremely soupy, I will eat maybe half and take it home. Day one is a solid 3.5- day two when the rice absorbs all the curry it's a 5!! As this is total comfort food for me. We've had the fresh rolls, they were ok. We really like the crispy spring rolls with the mushrooms. I took my dad for lunch, he had the baHn mi sandwich and said it was just alright. The food was ok, better places in Santa Rosa, but we live in Windsor and gave it a few tries. The spicy lemongrass soup was worth ordering. After a bad experience I probably won't be back again. They messed up my takeout order, which is fine, I understand it happens. So I drove back to the restaurant to get the right order and was really surprised when they requested the other meal back! I've worked in restaurants for 15+ years, this is not ok. How do they know I didn't open the food and take a bite? Or sneeze all over it? Or touch it with unwashed hands? So unsanitary, I can't go back now. The people working behind the counter were young, and maybe just wanted to avoid getting in trouble for messing up the order, or just didn't realize how gross and unsanitary that is. I've eaten a lot of Vietnamese food in Oakland and on Larkin Street, San Francisco over the years, and I can tell you for sure that this place is as good as any Vietnamese restaurant I've been at in America. This place was so hyped up by locals and I'm honestly disappointed. I've eaten here twice already, but I don't think I'll be coming again. I love a good authentic Vietnamese Banh mi. I got their hot crispy chicken both times. I'm not sure what is "hot" about it, there is barely any spice and the outside is just crispy similar to katsu. The way the sandwich is constructed, everything falls out of it the moment it's eaten. There is very minimal sauce and mostly raw carrots making this really dry. The chicken is inconsistent, one sandwich had darker red meat the other one had bland looking chicken. look at the photos and see what I mean. With taxes we spent $26. Not worth it. Went to try this last Friday. Small but cute. Ordering is done by computer in front. Unless there is a line then they will help at register. 3 tables to sit. Mostly take out. Egg rolls were way over cooked and his noodle bowl was ice cold. Kinda bland until he added chili sauce. We left quickly when the cook started coughing (it sounded like a sick cough). Before I begin the official review, I would like to mention that I have been a fan since the Santa Rosa location was named Corner Park Cafe. I recognize some of the staff and they recognize me from time to time as well. I've had mostly good experiences with Savor hence my loyalty over the years. Savor Vietnamese Cuisine-Windsor was a pleasant experience for my partner and I. I understand this isn't a place where you're going to get 5 star or even 4 star service. It's a rustic, culturally rooted, smaller and local business. If you care about good-food, flavor and contributing to local women operated business then you're pretty much good to go here. If you absolutely need the service to match the food...maybe re-consider. The thing about authentic, non-american cuisine restaurants is...they will have authentic non-american customs in different aspects of the business. Not here to debate if that's a good or bad thing..simply stating the fact. I usually get a vermicelli bowl but this occasion I got Pho. The temperature was perfect for the serving size given. Usually when I get Pho it's not quite hot enough and with the typical serving size, it gets cold about halfway through eating, but not here! It was nice and hot throughout my meal (and I'm a slow eater). The broth was light yet flavorful and helped warm me up on this cold evening. My partners Vermicelli Bowl was fresh, really well cooked and had some of the most perfectly cooked shrimp I've ever had!
