This place can be hit or miss for me. It's much better when actually picking up your food than it is when ordering through an app, in my opinion. While I have never had an issue with the pizzas, I have had some consistency issues with other items. On my most recent order, my low carb bowl lacked in both flavor and ingredients. I stumbled upon this place looking for late night options to feed a group of 25 people for several nights in a row. They were extremely accommodating, and offered delivery outside their normal business hours. We ordered from them 5 nights and every night they arrived on time, with the food fresh and hot. The Chicken Parmesan Sub was a hit and the Veggie Sub was surprisingly delicious that came with Pesto on it. The pizza was a little doughy to me, but the sauce and toppings were good. Overall, I would rate my experience a 9/10 because how friendly and accommodating they were, and the food about an 8/10. We will definitely be using them again! read more

Woodbridge store makes better pizza then this one in Fairfax, I ordered pizza last week, thin crust is more of a cracker tasting which is what is says a little bit too overcooked, and hardly any sauce on the pizza, and I ordered their Stromboli, no calzone available but it was awful the crust didn't taste like normally it does it tasted more like white bread, had more of a bread flavor, and not like real NY style. This Friday night was my personal night out, which means I basically get to eat whatever I want. All other time, I'm careful about the calories, but tonight would be much different. I knew what I wanted before I even arrived here, and I could have placed my order online, but I waited until I actually came to the location. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and marinara sauce. I almost broke my own rule because zi was think about ordering the Mediterranean salad because it's loaded with veggies and many nutrients. Since this restaurant only really specialized in delivery service and carry out orders, I basically waited inside of my car after I placed the order. The do have two tables situated outside for outdoor dining, but it was dusk and my car is more comfortable honestly. After about ten minutes, I ventured back into the restaurant to pick up my order. Just moved to the Fairfax/NOVA area last week and wanted to find a fairly cheap and good pizza place nearby. This is one of the first places that popped up while scrolling through my phone around 6:00pm on a weeknight. It was okay. Nothing special at all. Ordered a pepperoni/extra cheese pizza and cheese sticks. Pizza had less than a good amount of sauce and hardly any "extra cheese" like I had specified. Cheese sticks were cold and seemed as if they had been sitting out for a bit. I arrived to pick up the pizza in a prompt time. The customer service and management at this place is horrible. I ordered 2 wings, a pizza and cookies through Uber Eats and only received one item from my order, the cookies. I called and they said they thought it was "weird" that the order only had cookies on it, but the price was so high. I understand that these things happen with third party delivery services, but the fact that nobody looked into it and sent just the cookies out anyways is ridiculous. An order of only cookies is not $40+. The girl on the phone said that she was new, and her manager wasn't present so there's not much she could do. She took my address and told me she would have my food out to me in no time. No worries. I waited over an hour until I called again. This time, I believe it was the manager who told me that they tried to contact uber eats about my order before sending it out. WHY? I already dealt with uber eats on my end. Wouldn't you think sending the food out to a hungry customer who has already been waiting almost 2 hours would be the smarter thing to do? I guess not. I live 10 minutes away from the restaurant and it took the driver 35 minutes to get to me. The WORST PART is that the pizza was cold and mangled when it finally arrived. It looked like they had dropped it on the floor. I understand maybe being understaffed because of the pandemic, but the complete lack of care for customers ALREADY having issues is ridiculous. My family lives around the corner, we pick up and never get delivery. I order online. We order pizzas for me (vegetarian) and parents and occasionally my husband (not). We always customize our order, and it is always correct. Every time I pick up (covid) staff are masked. The staff are friendly and very polite. My Dad who went to West Point and snuck into NYC all the time says this is his favorite pizza ever. He is 89 so that's huge. Try getting 89 year olds to eat. Not sure why bad posts...I eat here through yelp's eat24.com every Friday...Spinach salad is fresh, teaming with toppings including almost overly generous portions of high ticket items (bacon, mushrooms, feta), and pizza rolls are amazingly tasty pizza-like but not as much cheese (I am sensitive to cheese, but love it, so this works great!). We don't live local but have been here every weekend to watch my son play baseball at GMU. We have ordered from here 3 weekends in a row, sometimes on Friday night and Saturday night an EVERY TIME it has been consistently pleasing. The quality of the food is good. The pizza is delicious. My husband gets the meat lovers and he's ordered it on cauliflower and regular crust and both were good. My son and I order the white garlic and Alfredo sauce pizza with toppings and it is always delicious. A couple times, they added a desert which was nicely surprising. Called for delivery to my workplace on the recommendation of a colleague. All of a sudden my location is "not showing up on their GPS." Never mind that they have delivered here in the past (colleague has it numerous times), but when I plug the directions into the map the distance is well within their requisite 5 mile radius. That would be driving distance, NOT linear distance. Told me they would have the Vienna store call me (pointless because we are well further than 5 miles away). Knew I wouldn't get a call back and immediately called Papa John's who fulfilled my large order with no issue. Good thing I did because...surprise, I never got a call. Granted, this one order only lost them about $100 if business, but being that the office will be making plenty of pizza orders in the coming weeks and months, that's thousands of dollars walking away. Let me start off by saying that I really like Vocelli... or at least I did. This particular store has given me nothing but problems. I've ordered from here at least five times since moving to Fairfax and not once have they gotten my order correct. Further, they are ALWAYS late. Today's example that prompted me to write this review... I ordered online with a delivery time of 11:15am. I actually received my order at 12:20pm. I ordered a medium thin-crust Hawaiian pizza and a medium pepperoni, jalapeño, and 1/2 mushroom pizza (among a couple other things). When I received my order - over an hour late - it was wrong. My Hawaiian was not thin crust. My other pizza was a Hawaiian that they also added pepperoni and, on half, mushroom and jalapeño. When I called to explain the error, the person who answered the phone told me mediums cannot come in thin crust. Okay fine... When I tried to explain why the second was wrong, the guy kept telling me what I ordered. I told him I KNEW what I ordered and explained no less than three times why the order was wrong. He finally understood after I told him to "stop and listen to what I'm saying" several times and said they'd remake the order and have it to me in half an hour. Also, when they deliver it to send back the incorrect one. The call was at 12:25pm and, an HOUR later, we still do not have the corrected pizza. They have made little to no attempt to make this right. Mind you, this is NOT the first time I've ordered from this location and not a single time have they gotten my order correct. Usually it's not so wrong that it prompts me to call, but today, I had to call. My son is allergic to pineapple, so just picking off the pineapple on the incorrect pizza is not a possibility. I'm thoroughly disappointed and will no longer be a customer at this location. How disappointing!!!! read more

Updating my review. I don't know what has happened with this location. I recently ordered delivery from here, a small veggie pesto pizza, house salad, and cannolis. Well the order came almost 2 hours after I placed it. The salad and cannolis were sweating from being in the pizza carrier (sitting on top of the pizza box). The pizza wasn't even hot. It was room temp at best. The pizza was oddly watery and did not taste very well. The salad was... Well your typical salad. At least the veggies were fresh. The cannolis weren't crunchy, the outside was soft. I couldn't even finish eating it, I threw it away along with a whole one. Such a shame. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

We called and explained there must have been a mistake, so they sent out another one exactly the same. When I bit into it, it was like they had dropped in sand or something.
