Expertise here is hit and miss. I've been here a few times and it's not consistent. Today, the 15 minute massage felt like a light slow touch .mot a massage at all. My daughter is a regular here. They are always so sweet to her. She's a teen and can be tough on her nails and they are always able to do what's best for her. Then quality of service went down but the decision not to go back was due to the lady rubbed a hole in my toe from not paying attention from talking with other workers to much. I have been going to this place for a while now for pedicure and gel polish which wasn't that bad! But i went for GEL X On Friday and today is Monday, its peeling off already. The lady who was doing my nails cut me everywhere. I was bleeding from cuticles and asked her to wash my hand before she continue and she did not let me. I should have just walked out at that point but i decided to stay since she had already started the process. The fact that its been barely 3 days and one of my nail is already halfway peeled is so disappointing! It also looked like she was not prepared to do gel x since she kept on dropping the nails on the floor and proceeded to use the same one on my finger. Extremely disappointed!! Such a waste of money. I noticed the ratings of this establishment and decided to try it out to form my own opinion. The salon is modern and clean. I walked-in to check-in for my appointment and the associate asked me to sit down several times to wait, I finally had to say "thank you but I don't feel like sitting" it was awkward. I get seated and the associates who did manicure and pedicure were very thorough and did a good job. I was satisfied with my experience until I went to check-out. I had a Mastercard gift card I wanted to get rid of and they told me if the card didn't have a chip I couldn't use it. I thought ok, I can use it at a later time. The pricing that was advertised did not coincide with what they were charging me. Also, if you ask for a basic manicure which is on the menu they give you when you're seated, it is not the standard manicure lol. I am still perplexed over this. So BEWARE the pricing is not going to match anything advertised, you may want to get that confirmed prior to getting any services. I then had to return back as one of my nails did not get enough time under the LED light to dry. I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

I came here after work because I wanted to get my nails done for my birthday which is in 2 days. I hardly ever get my nails done but decided to treat myself. Anyways, I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted which included color and shape of the nail. I was there for about 1.5 hours and already knew that I didn't like how my nails were turning out, but by that time I just wanted to go home. Now that I'm home, I am very disappointed with the nails I received and will probably go to another salon to have them removed. However, the lady who did my nails was really nice. read more

I saw that there closing time was @7:00pm and I was about 10 minutes out. They were so kind enough to wait for me to get there ! But the actual shaping of the nails and the design was so horrible and sloppy. My big toes nails are crooked and uneven and my nail design was a simple French tip and the lines were done so horribly. read more

Pros: The place was clean and the prices are very reasonable and cheap - probably $20-30 cheaper than other places. Cons: My toe got cut and about a week later, it's still hurting. The polish chipped the same day and was sloppily applied - some spots are very thin and there was a lot of polish left on my skin around the nails. They didn't shape my nails correctly. I asked for a round shape but they were just cut nearly straight across. My pedicure came with a massage but the technician proceeded to read a little book while giving me my massage and was half-heartedly working on me. I will most likely not be returning but it seems like a popular place so I may have just gotten a poor technician. read more

WOW! Just had a pedicure at Vogue and it was beyond amazing! This is my first visit to the salon and I think it's moving up the list to be my new favorite. The staff was friendly, professional and so talented... I had the Tropical option with salt scrub and 10 minute foot massage - I'm still in massage coma. OMG I am genuinely surprised I have not rated this place yet. They just remodeled so its super nice and clean. The girls there are so polite and gentle. I have loved going here for the past few years. They have a trillion designs and they have some of the best manicurists I have ever seen! I go to Lilly. She is SUPERB in acrylics. I am very picky about my nails, and she has been nothing but accomodating. She also does duck feet, which is good. Again, Vogue has great designs for every season, and not season, and each nail technician is nice and gentle. You won't regret getting your nails done by Lilly, let alone any girl at Vogue! read more

The last three times I've made an appointment to get my nails done I've been left to wait for at least an hour. The second time the girl wasn't even at the salon she had forgotten about the appointment and they had to call her at home to come in. That was an hour and 40 minute wait. The only reason I waited was because I was stuck in the chair getting a pedicure. After happening the third time I will not go back to the salon. Horribly run and unorganized. There are too many better salons out there to tolerate waiting over an hour when you have an appointment. read more

Went there to get my nails done with my friend and they had called us asking us to get there early. We got there 20 to 30 minutes early for our appointment and we ended up waiting for 45 minutes to an hour to get our nails done. I asked the lady if she could do a design on my nails and she said she could ended up taking almost 2 1/2 hours and she couldn't do it the design I want, after I told her it's fine. Mine and my friends nails are lumpy and breaking after five days. My acrylic nail lady was super rude. Disappointed considering i spent $100. Dont go there, super not worth it. read more

Came as a walk-in for a pedicure and I was greeted and seated right away. Nice massage chairs, super clean, more up scale "look" than a lot of nail salons, great selection of non gel colors, driers for manis and pedis, no chemical smells inside. Prices are a little high but are nicely listed on a menu which says everything included so you don't get the pressuring during your pedicure for "other" stuff and/or hidden costs of "extras". Let me start by saying that Rosa is amazing! She deserves 5 stars and gave me a phenomenal pedicure! I wish I had just gotten the pedicure. My manicurist, whose name I did not get because she immediately started filing my nails without even asking me what I wanted, ruined my nail bed. She was so aggressive in cutting my cuticles that I was in excruciating pain and the tops of my fingers are raw and have been cut up. Not only that but my nails were severely uneven and I had to ask her to correct t so they were all the same length. My nail painting took forever as the manicurist did one nail at a time and kept my hand in the light for two minutes for each new nail--with gel this was over an hour long process; however, it looks like it was done in 3 minutes. I asked for a 3rd coat and she barely put any extra polish on--you can already see the dirt beneath my fingernails. The polish is not solid to the nail bed and looks faded. The massage was basically just her putting some lotion on my arm and then it was over. I leave and immediately notice clear coat all over my fingers. Needless to say this was not a good experience. I am so sad because this place is so close to my house and I have been several times for better manicures but my fingers hurt so bad, I will not be back. I will miss you Rosa! read more

I still absolutely love it here. My whole family has now been coming here for nearly 15 years and it's still our favorite. A basic pedicure is $25 and of course there are optional addons. The "basic" mani/pedi is better than other salons "deluxe" option & the pedis always last over a month without so much as a chip. Incredible! I travel all the time & I live in studio city/LA now; i still come all the way over here for my nails. I get nonstop compliments on the designs they do and ppl always ask where I had them done. I have yet to find a salon that does a better job than right here at vogue in OC. Lily is my favorite & I ask for her every time I come. Actually, my mom, aunt and myself jokingly fight over Lily! It's worth it to call ahead and book her. This place is always full so if you have the option, call ahead, or at least try and come before the lunch or evening rush. Also, next door, there's a great healthy restaurant and wine bar. Perfect for wrapping up a nail date with the girls. :) read more

I don't usually like to leave reviews but it really irritated me so I might as well share just to give a heads up. I came in in a rush and they sat me down rather quickly so that was lovely coming in without an appt. I asked for just a gel manicure, nothing else, the tech was friendly and chatty but really I just needed to get going. She began to ask to add things on to my service and I reiterated that I really needed to go that I didn't have time, again, knowing well I came in with little time only wanting the gel manicure. She gave me a menu asking which manicure I wanted, mind you my nails were already painted by this time. I picked the cheapest which was $25. She returned with hot lotion and towels did her massage and I'm just antsy because I have to go but I'm also trying to not be rude. She continues to ask if I want my eyes brows done, to just paint my toenails and I'm like no really I have to go. When I go to pay the original posted price for a gel manicure was $34 and she charged me $39. I asked if they haven't changed their prices on the board and she said no that's right. So when I asked why I was charged more she told me because I got hot lotion and a massage. The manager saw me kind of fuming and asked if everything was alright but I was so irritated it wasn't worth me wasting more time. Needless to say, the service was fine, but I should have heeded some of the reviews here that share that you should get a firm price ahead of time. read more

I have been coming to vogue nails for years. They have kind, professional staff that make your experience the best. Their dips, acrylic, gel, regular polish manicure and pedicures are always top notch. My nails always last a long time and done well. They are very accommodating and truly try to make your day a good one. Clean and autoclave their instruments too, never have to worry about catching fungus or something nasty. It's always been pleasant and relaxing when I come here. Chris and ennie in particular are fabulous and great at what they do. read more

Years ago I was a customer of Vogue but left due to lack of service and overall attitudes of some of the nail technicians. I came back recently to try again because I had heard some great things. I was pleased to find Mimi, who is fantastic and very attentive to detail. LOVE HER and her service. This week I needed to get into the salon on a day Mimi was not working and I was unable to wait. My first mistake was booking an appointment at the end of their day (6:15 PM Friday 10/6) and my second was not waiting for Mimi :-(. Unfortunately, during my session, there were numerous bugs dropping into the work area and even flying into the drying light area. (They looked to me like termites) I was constantly moving in and out of the dryer. Today I noticed four of my nails that needed attention due to smudges and gaps in areas needing polish . I returned. Upon my arrival, they both were visibly displeased. The technician said my nails were the way they they were because I kept moving in and out of the dryer :-0. I left today with four new , perfect nails. I noticed , today, the same technician paid attention to the detail that should have occurred last night. They did not charge me for fixing my nails but I decided two things: 1. I left her a tip for getting it right today as all my nails look great, 2. I will NOT return ever again go to this salon and will miss Mimi. read more
