We were greeted and was provided such amazing service by Carlton and the bartender (I don't recall their name) but the drinks were so delicious that I got the same drink twice (which was the Melon Ball and was paired with the Liquid MJ Shooter) Although our ONLY complaint was the drink prices are pretty expensive.. We didn't personally taste any of the food since we had dinner beforehand. But it looked and smell amazing! The service was top notch! And Carlton took such great care of me and my party from beginning to end. He was timely in responding to our requests despite being the only staff there! He seemed to be juggling so many duties but me and my party did not feel neglected or any dissatisfaction. My friends and I really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back! I would not recommend this place at all. The pricing was unclear from the beginning, and the whole situation felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. We were charged for two hours, but then they "closed early," so we were only actually there for about one hour. When we questioned the pricing, instead of handling it professionally, the guy tried handing over a crumpled $5 bill and held it up to my face like that was supposed to fix the issue. It felt disrespectful and dismissive. He also gave us "4 free waters," but later used that against us by saying they were originally $2.50 each. That made no sense because they were presented as free, then suddenly treated like a favor when we pushed back on the price. Overall, the experience was frustrating, shady, and completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun karaoke night. Customers should not have to argue over unclear pricing, be charged for time they did not get, or feel disrespected for asking basic questions. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

A group of 4 of us were able to secure a room here at midnight, on a Friday. We went in expecting closing time to be 2:30 (like it said online) but we were informed that there was just one guy running the whole place that night and he would need to close at 1 for more time to clean. It made sense to us and we appreciated the transparency and went in! We were so hyped to get ready singing whatever we could with the shortened time.. but our spirits got low with how confusing it was to use the remote/ put in songs. We had to call Carlton over a few times and felt so bad about taking his time! But also please fix the way you get karaoke working. Side note: Carlton deserves a raise! read more

I was in a group of eight who went to VoKo for three+ hours on a Saturday night. We reserved a medium room, and it was more than big enough...and also very clean, comfortable, and cool! We sang MANY songs, ate MANY snacks, and drank MANY drinks. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The YouTube pairing system works like a dream. We arrived around midnight. There was no fixed price. The told us that we could stay until closing and add some free waters on top. I paid $60 and tipped $15. Their hours said 2 AM, but the worker told us we had to leave just past 1 AM. $75 for 1 hour of karaoke and some water is outrageous, especially since he told us that he wouldn't close early. Then, when I asked for a partial refund, he held a crumpled $5 bill in my face as if trying to get rid of an annoying customer. Came here for Father's Day and the place was empty. So many rooms, but all empty, I guess people either come later or do not karoake on father's day. Anyway, I prebooked the room and was greeted at the front and shown to our room. The room was nice, spacious and clean. Unfortunately, after a few songs we found out that our tablet to select songs was not working so we were escorted to another room. The microphones have covers for sanitation which is nice and there is a call button in the room for orders. We called for more drinks but nobody came. We eventually just gave up on food and drinks and sang and left. Dad was happy and the kids had tons of fun. Service is not the best, so eat and drink before you come here. read more

A co-worker of mine recommended this place. Our group was worried that a neighboring karaoke lounge would fill up fast. Thankfully, we were able to secure a reservation days before a major holiday weekend. So, you would need to call the place first to secure a room - I highly recommend securing a room as this place will get busy in the later hours on the weekend. You would need to call and give them your credit card number; it's pretty old school, but the gal from the lounge was very patient and understanding. The actual place itself is a cool vibe. I love how every room is themed to different colors. We were in a green room that was right next to the bar. My friend ordered tequila from the bar and he liked it. My friends ordered water, but the bartender was only there every now and then. So we had to wait until the bartender was there to get a cup of water. Song selection is very Korean dominant. I do appreciate they had some Tagalog songs, Western (English) popular songs, J-pop, and anime / video games. However, if you are in the mood for showtunes, it's not on there. There were song English songs we wanted, but they were not listed on there either. J-pop songs were tricky to navigate and even then, some popular J-pop songs were not listed on there (ie: Plastic Love, Stay with Me, etc). The remote would have been hard to navigate if we didn't have our Korean friend with us. We were able to figure it out. However, we did notice that there were songs on the machine that were not listed in the book. Every room got one song selection book; we had to request another one since we had a group of six. I would have given this three stars because of the song selection, but I loved the service and the vibes of the lounge. Otherwise, if you're just looking for vibes and singing your heart out, this ain't a bad spot to try out. Yet, if you're feeling like Weird Al Yankovic, do what I did and find the original track and sing the Weird Al lyrics. No Amish Paradise listed here. read more

My friends and I had a great time at Voko! We went on a Saturday night around 10pm, booked a small room for 6 people, and didn't have to wait long for our room to be ready (less than 5 mins). The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had before entering! Some standouts/pros: - Stocked fridges with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages AND they have a full bar in the back! They had a wide variety of soju, beers, soda, seltzers, juice, and more. - Each karaoke room is well air-conditioned. Other karaokes rooms I've been to always end up getting too warm, especially if we're dancing/singing, but our room at Voko stayed perfectly cool the entire time. - Karaokes are clean. The furniture is neat and well kept/maintained. - My favorite part is that they have a laminated picture of the remote with English translations! Most remotes and on-screen text are in Korean, so this was super helpful. Next time I visit I definitely have to try their food! read more

I've been to this karaoke lounge 4 times already, all experiences were great. My first and second time we rented a medium room with about 7-10 people and it was perfect! Jae was amazing both times, seriously so catering to guests and was seriously a blast to be around-- I hope I'm able to see him again here within the next few months after his trip! But I'm serious when I say he's the best host here so far, very understanding when it came to prices and needs, on top of it, checks all of the above. My third time, I went with 2 other people, with no reservation made. Because we went on a Friday night, the small rooms were full and we had to get a medium room (size in video). The host (forgot his name :( but man with black glasses) was also very good and understanding! He charged us the price for a medium room for the first hour, but for the remaining 2 hours we were there, he charged us for the small room :') Service was not as quick, but it was a busy day! He made sure to check up with us consistently as things died down later during the night. I came here for my fourth time yesterday-- I made a reservation for the VIP B room, but only half of those people ended up coming to the event. Zeus, another host, was super understanding of this and charged me for the VIP A room instead, he couldn't charge me for the large just because they were all taken, and that's okay! I'm really glad he was able to adjust for pricing nonetheless. The VIP room was gorgeous, and there was sooo much space to breathe and dance for 15 people. Take a look at both the pictures to get a good idea! Ultimately, such an underrated spot. In terms of the song choices, they were great and it's easy to work around. They DO update the songs monthly. I remember searching up some songs that weren't loaded during my first time, but during my fourth time, those songs were there. Nevertheless, you can always connect with Bluetooth. It's great that they have a full service bar too. If I had to describe Voko in three words: fun, clean, and friendly! If you love singing, Voko is a haven full of private rooms for you to sing inside. They also have tambourines. The mics offered are high quality, and I've never experienced the terrible mic feedback that other local facilities have put me through. Voko has one of the cleanest and largest spaces out of the karaoke lounges in the OC. For those with stage fright, you're only singing in a private room with whomever you select to be there. Also, everyone around you will probably be drinking and singing and not care what you sound like so don't let that hold you back! They have many popular English songs and a number of Korean, Japanese, plus a ton of Chinese song selections. It would be amazing if the facility could update their english song selections since they are missing a number of popular artists and songs from the past few decades. This would truly solidify its 5-star status. They also have a decent menu of food items in case you are hungry. Fries, pizza, wings, Korean seafood pancakes, etc. Taste is pretty good though portions are a little smaller for premium prices. No outside drinks are permitted, but they've got plenty of water and alcohol you can purchase. Service is usually on point! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and try to give you a very positive experience, even when they are busy. So the jury's still out on how I feel about this place because while I don't frequent karaoke spots often, it wasn't bad but it wasn't stellar either. This is located in the same plaza as the 99 cents store in Tustin and it's a fairly decent spot. The prices here are fairly moderate: -- $49/hour for a "large" room for 4-9 people (there is a 2 hour minimum for this room type) -- $12 French fries -- $15 jalapeño poppers -- $19 hot wings -- $19 chicken fried rice -- $14.95 soju bottle -- $1.50 bottled water The song selection is comparable to most other lounges in that there are quite a few languages to offer but never the extensive amount that you're hoping for. Overall, this is a decent spot but not the best you can find. The only gripe I have is that the owner said he would comp us a soju bottle and get it still showed up on our bill. I also did not appreciate being offered water and not told that it would cost us per bottle until after the fact. (59/100--2022) read more

This place was hard to find because I showed up early for a private party and they sign was not lit. I actually thought I was in the wrong area. They dont open til 7pm so that when the sign turned on. Beyond this happening the rest of the night was a blast! Their service to our party was excellent. Staff was young, but they were trained well!! Food and drinks were good. The bartender was by himself and always had a crowd at the bar, but he had such a good personality and patience with the crowd. For some reason, their system wasn't working, so I went in in person to reserve a VIP room a month in advance. Five days before my event, they called me to tell me that there was a booking issue. Hard to believe when I went there physically to give them cash And visit the room away in advance. I had to reserve to another location for a large group which I did with plush. Come to find out it was actually a good that they screwed up because the other place looks much better more inviting & cleaner. I guess that's why they say. Everything happens for a reason. I'm glad we didn't have our party there after all. They did refund me, but either way their mistake shouldn't have bumped me out of especially since I was was there physically, paid cash I was in their books, but yet they still prioritize somebody else. read more
