Volcano Sushi & Hibachi is hands down our go-to spot, especially for 50% off sushi Mondays. The value is unbeatable; we can easily get 6-7 rolls for around $60, which is an absolute steal, especially in Atlanta. Honestly, who wouldn't come back at that price point? Our must-order rolls never change: Angry Dragon, Manhattan, Yami 2014, Special Crunchy Roll, Fuji Mountain Roll, and the Aloha Roll. We even have these rolls saved in our phone notes app & show the wait staff for quick ordering. Every roll is consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. We always leave completely stuffed and satisfied. Even on busy 50% off Mondays, the service is quick, prompt, and efficient. We've never had an issue dining here -- everything runs smoothly, and the staff keeps things moving without making you feel rushed. Great food, amazing value, and reliable service. Volcano Sushi & Hibachi is a must-visit if you love sushi and a good deal. We'll definitely keep coming back!

See GREASE running from the steak DIRECTLY ON OUR SHRIMP for which the manager told me that wasn't how they cook steak PIC PROOF

ZERO STARS DO NOT EAT HERE THE FOOD ISN'T GOOD BAD EXPERIENCE Not a good experience at all we ordered Shrimp and chicken rice vegetables I/we don't eat meat but our shrimp was grilled directly beside another customer steak as you can see in picture the meat grease ran into our shrimp that taste of the beef made us sick to our stomach when I complained to female managers she told me that wasn't possible they don't cook the meat near the shrimp she didn't know I'd taken pictures however we will not be eating there again they lost a loyal customer PICTURES DONT LIE

The Monday deal of 50% off rolls was great, except that the rolls weren't that great. The Kamikaze rolls was super skinny and the salmon was so thin that it was probably less than a regular maki roll, which would be less than half the price. It looks good, most of the roll is filler and not not fish. The raw fish didn't taste fresh either. The service is was slow for getting our table started and our order ready. Maybe we came at an off time. It seems like the place to go if you just want some cheap sushi and the hibachi experience without thinking too much of quality.

I came here on a Tuesday. The ambiance was nice and there was no wait time. The server came right out to seat me. I ordered the salmon box with rice on the side. I'd say, overall the food was only ok, I wasn't that crazy about it.

The first you notice about Volcano Steak and Sushi is the cool interior look. Love the industrial-type theme with the metal welded walls and lighting above the bar area. Both the sushi and hibachi are excellent. The staff is super polite and very efficient. Love the little TOGO robots! I highly recommend you give them a try.

METAL IN MY FRIED RICE! bland, overpriced, no garlic butter i rice? tasted like steam rice. steak was 40% fat. no lemon on shrimps. this is a total failure.

Place is huge and was clean. Waiter was friendly and quick to serve us! Food came out quickly as well, we were in and out in 30 minutes. Sushi roll was a 5/5 but hibachi chicken lunch fell short. It's not hibachi but rather chicken teriyaki with unseasoned fried rice. Soup and salad were good and came with the entree! Sushi was 50% off on Monday which was a great deal!

Celebrating a birthday today and she decided on hibachi by her house!!! Here's how it went. Ambiance: very club like feel, retro and vibing. Service: was good and attentive but nothing out of the ordinary. Food: was decent and scratches the itch but pretty pricey and made me a little tummy sick. They are having all you can eat dim sum coming soon too. Overall not a bad experience but maybe wouldn't come here again. PS. OUR HIBACHI CHEG CEASAR WAS AWESOME!!!!

It's a "Yes" for us! Volcano does hibachi well. I am a vegetarian so I ordered the veggie hibachi and I was not disappointed at all. It was painful and very flavorful. The service was great. We were actually seated by a robot. The actual waitress was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The restaurant was clean and the service was fast. I would definitely recommend this place for large groups, birthdays, date night or for lunch.

Great vibes and outstanding service! The staff were incredibly accommodating to our fairly large, last-minute birthday group. While the food was pretty standard, the level of service really stood out and made the experience special.

They even made a heart shape in the rice for Valentine's Day!

Food is always spot on. Sushi is delicious. Friendly welcome every time. They sang happy birthday to our coworker and made a heart shape of the rice for Valentine's Day.

Didn't realize how big the place was until I went to the restroom. It's huge with a private dining area for large groups, a regular area in front of open kitchen (which is where we sat) and then a bar area and another whole section where a pianist started playing a few minutes before we left. Service was very attentive. Two employees worked our table and the manager stopped by to check on us as well which is always appreciated. They have TV's in the bar area tuned to the World Cup coverage. Large modern fireplace in the bar section with casual seating in front of it. Valet parking available but we parked ourselves and used the tip money to buy creme brulee for dessert. We started with the burrata salad which included both red and green tomatoes. Very good. For my main entree, I ordered the halibut and it was excellent. My husband ordered the Cuts Ribeye and he described how he wanted his steak to the server and he recommended the temp. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) The restaurant is kept very warm inside, and I'm usually someone who feels cold easily, but even I was rather hot. A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! Will definitely go back to this unique spot!

First-time visit to Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth -- and wow, the food was impressive…read more We had an early 5:15 p.m. reservation through Resy and received clear confirmation and reminder communications from the restaurant. Parking was a challenge due to Valentine's Day and the sheer number of people dining out. That said, parking is often tight in Duluth because of the many restaurants, so it's wise to allow extra time. My wife and I were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival, and our server quickly came over to take our drink orders. I have to mention our server, Maddie, who was one of the most pleasant and personable people we've encountered in a long time while dining out. She was a textbook example of what makes for a great dining experience. At that point, I learned the restaurant was offering a prix fixe Valentine's Day menu, which hadn't been communicated beforehand. While not unusual for the holiday, it did catch me by surprise. Maddie handled the situation professionally when I asked to speak with a manager, and Leon came over quickly. After I explained, they were able to accommodate us by offering the items à la carte, which worked out well since we chose to skip one course and dessert. As for the food -- it was outstanding. My wife had the beet salad and said it was the best she's ever had. I ordered the wedge salad, which was very good. She chose the shrimp appetizer, while I had the stuffed mushrooms; both were excellent. We each ordered the 6-oz filet, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and green beans complemented the steak nicely, and I especially enjoyed the house-made steak sauce, which paired very well with the filet. I also had the opportunity to speak with executive chef and owner George Yu, who was engaging and shared that they cook exclusively over open flames using well seasoned cherry and oak wood from a single supplier. I was even able to thank the chef who prepared our steaks in the wood-fired kitchen. Overall, it was a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth, GA.

This was our second time here, first time 6 yrs ago according to my last yelp review. Unfortunately…read moremy review stays the same. Service was good, probably because my husband told them I was an elite yelper but also was early on a Saturday night and had only a few tables. They made my custom drink order well. Listened to instructions. Started with a dozen oysters, recommended by the waitress, they were ok. They small and not really flavorful. They had the typical cocktail sauce and horseradish but needed hot sauce. Served also with goldfish crackers, I get the pun but a little tacky for a fine dining establishment. We also had the shrimp with the gochijong sauce. The shrimp were nice size but again lack luster. Where's the seasoning? The gochijong sauce was sparse and was watery. Also the shrimp needed salt. We ordered the surf and turf which was good size. The steak was a little under, ordered it med rare. It was also very thin. The steak was seasoned with corse sea salt at the end. Well that produced some very salty pieces and some under seasoned pieces. Salting before cooking would have helped that and garnish with the course salt. The lobster was small but tasty. Slightly under cooked. The Kim chee fried rice was good but not enough although there were some over ripe Kim chee pieces. The star of the meal was the cheese corn. Delish! Sweet, savory and creamy. Cooked perfectly with enough crunch of the corn to offset the creaminess. It was an anniversary and was offered 3 cake choices and ordered the cheesecake. Non of the cakes are made in house, we asked. The cheesecake was creamy but had a huge crust so the ratio of the cheese mixture to the crust was off balance. BTW a very small slice. All in all I would say we won't be back. Too many other good restaurants nearby.

We drove over to The Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill, in Duluth. Because we have been there…read moreseveral times before, we knew we would face bad traffic and we did - bumper to bumper. But ,it was worth it. When we arrived, the parking lot was also packed so when we entered, we had a small wait. But soon, we were seated and we were given EXCELLENT service and given much attention. I had their meatloaf and mushrooms with a side of salad and mashed potatoes and my friend had their filet, also with a side of salad and mashed potatoes. Be sure to see the picture of the bread they bring out to you. It's the size of doughnut holes and SO gooey. I loved it so much that I asked for more to take home with me. If you will look at the picture I included of the bill (before tip) you can decide if it is worth the price but between the ambience of the restaurant, the flavor of the food and the attentive service, I felt that it was very much worth what we paid. Yum, yum.

It used to be packed on weekends. We were seated immediately. We started with an order of steak egg rolls. I did not enjoy. It felt like these are made to utilize scraps and maximize revenue. The meat had an old taste and had quite a bit of gristle and fat. I had the lobster bisque. It was TERRIBLE. It was so very bitter and the amidst the very small amount of lobster garnish was shell in every bite. I sent it back. We ordered steaks with a few different sides. Of the four steaks ordered, one was cooked to almost the correct. The others were literally raw. We sent them back to be cooked more. Came out still undercooked. When we said it still needed more, he was argumentative about how the steak was ordered. He blamed the server saying she entered the temperature as med rare. When the steak came the third time, the server said she did it correctly. They were pointing fingers at each other and felt it was overall unprofessional. I brought 2/3 of my steak home and never even ate the leftovers. We spent 400+ on this meal and no one enjoyed their food. We all agreed we would have enjoyed a steak at Longhorn (10 min from us all) more than we enjoyed this. After 2+ hours, and multiple issues, not type of adjustments were made. I think it's safe to say that Stoney River can be added to the growing list of failing restaurants. Restaurants that were once great but have traded in quality to make more money.

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol
