Had Vons Chicken today. I was able to order from their website & it was so easy. Japchae 4/5. Tasty! Would get again. Honey butter fried chicken 3/5. The chicken itself was nice and crispy and not oily. I just wasn't a fan of the flavor. It tasted like kettle corn seasoning. Maybe other people would like it but personally not a fan. Soy garlic fried chicken 5/5. Star of the meal. Next time will probably just ordered this flavor. Overall, would come back especially for the soy garlic fried chicken. read more

This is our first time ordering so we tried the drum sticks (spicy & mild roasted and the fried) w/ cole slaw & radish along with onion rings & sweet potato fries. All the chicken was delish and the only thing we didn't care for is that the onion rings and fries were soggy. I got a half order of drumsticks. The chicken skin was nice and crispy, while the meat was incredibly moist. I also really liked the glaze that they used for the chicken. All three working together made for some excellent Korean fried chicken. :) I polished off my five drumsticks in minutes. This is a late post. Went in to order my daughter the crispy garlic chicken back on Feb 7th after spending about 3 hours in the crazy line for K-pop cup sleeve at the boba shop next door so I didn't have to cook dinner that night. Long story short, this place was busy with take-out orders. I had to wait about 25-30 minutes for my order. I had to keep going back in the shop to see if my order was ready. Honestly I think they messed up the order of my ticket so is why I had to wait so long. Anyway, as for the chicken, it smelled good, nicely fried and crispy, but the garlic sauce was the weirdest tasting garlic sauce ever. It had a strange, not so great tang. I would not get that again. And I can't recall if the chicken was brined or not. Brining chicken is a must especially previously frozen chicken. Pretty disappointed about the crispy garlic chicken, but they had some of items on the menu that I would consider trying in the future if I was in the neighborhood. However, I would not go out of my way to visit again. I prefer Bonchon above this place. Sorry Vons. read more

I have had Vons in the past and generally love the food and the service. But this location just lacked the service and quality. It was a Friday night so I tried to be understanding as I ordered my food online and it said to arrive in 20-25 minutes. I arrived in 25 minutes and then had to wait an additional 41 minutes. Completely unacceptable. After about 30 minutes of waiting for my online to-go order, I politely asked to cancel my order and they rudely agreed to cancel! Then someone in the back yelled "it's done, I just need to box it up" so I wait another 5 min to get the food. At this point I didn't want my order anymore as it took over an hour to get fried chicken. I got the food and it tasted mediocre with minimal flavor. I like Vons but I would recommend staying away from this location if it's the weekend as they were obviously overwhelmed and don't have a good system when it comes to people placing orders online. read more

We decided to try the new Vons near our house it opened up as we're a fan of Bonchon and Jollibee chicken. We were so pleased the chicken was so good it was hot fresh they left the box open to vent. We tried the five spice fried chicken and we've been thinking about it for days afterwards it was absolutely perfectly cooked so juicy inside and crispy on the outside and flavorful. Next time we're gonna try the spicy version. We also tried the rice cakes but we didn't care for those we didn't know what to expect but they weren't what we thought they would be so he won't get those again. But we are definitely going back there, the service was perfect too. lol read more

My friend and I came here sometime last week to get some chicken. It was a bit of a wait but the girl at the front was very sweet about it. She kept offering to refill our water and drinks while we were waiting and also was apologizing a lot for the wait. It was hard to be mad about waiting when the customer service was so tremendous.
