Doughnuts were fantastic! I'll start off with that. However the service was not! This was so disappointing because I was so excited to try these but the experience was such a let down. The woman who was working this morning was just so rushed and you could tell she had no time for me to decide on what kind of doughnuts I wanted. Not friendly, did not offer any suggestions, I just felt like I was such an inconvenience for her even though I was the only person there. I kept trying to be playful and polite apologizing for my indecisiveness but she did not care and I just felt like she could not wait for me to leave. Again such a shame because the doughnuts were fantastic. Honestly with other competition, as great as the doughnuts were I probably wouldn't come back. I was incredibly thankful for being opening on a holiday and I've worked in restaurants/hotels for my entire career. Food: 10/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Service: 2/10 The donuts are delicious! I can't take that away from them. BUT their customer service is horrible. I know it's new and there's room for improvement. We placed an online/ order ahead , order and we still had to wait almost 30mins. They said we were waiting on the vegan donuts. Okay no problem, we didn't mind waiting but the fact we had to remind them about our order, that's not okay. Ambiance is a 7 because I've been to the Orlando location and the Colorado location and this location is just basic. This is just my opinion and personal experience. Would love to give this place 5 stars, but all their "filled" donuts totally disappoint. After several visits and thinking that maybe something was "off" one time, ive found that it is actually rare for a "filled" donut to actually be filled. My favorites Go-Tart donut usually has a small blob of strawberry filling at one end only and is not filled through. The same can be said of all their filled donuts. Expect them to be all cake with only small amt of filling at one end. Wish they would get their quality control better. read more

So I've been to the Austin location on 6th. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Was out on a business trip, and the hotel breakfast was garbage, went to Voodoo, and they were the most pleasant folks, all the racks were loaded with all the donuts my heart could desire. Flash forward to 8/24/2025 in my home metroplex of DFW, and the BOGO event that they were having really had me saying, I'm gonna drive to Dallas, it's Sunday, traffic will be great. Record time, 30 minutes from downtown to downtown. Walk in to an empty lobby, thinking, boy I'm gonna git all the donuts!!! Nope, half the menu is blacked out on the counter, cause they just don't do those donuts! What?? It's 08:30 and they don't have any bacon maple bars, hold on, ya'll ran out of bacon, well anything bacon, on a Sunday morning in Texas??? I just can't believe it. And the half of the menu that they do serve there is somehow not available @ 08:30 in the morning on a Sunday, when y'all are having a special event. I love the donuts. But I'm never tripping out to Dallas again. I will for real drive to Austin to get my Voodoo donuts next time. And that's already in the books. See you soon Austin, see you never Dallas. Most definitely some of the best tasting doughnuts I've ever had! They have a well balanced mix of your traditional staples and some really creative and out of the box flavors too! The vibe in there is super cool and inviting. As this was my first time visiting the staff were super eager to answer all the questions I had and were super polite and fun. Only negative thing I can say is there is not much parking at all but that's Dallas for ya. Overall definitely glad to have finally tried them out and will definitely be added to must go list for future trips! read more

The Door Dash driver decided to sample the Churro. They all looked delicious! We couldn't eat for fear of what was done to other donuts.

Stopped by Voodoo on a Wednesday morning before 9am. There was a line at that time and with one person working the counter, we waited about 10 minutes. Expect great vegan donuts period! The size of the donuts are well worth the price and they're made fresh daily. The best part is that they stay open past the a.m. that allows you to feed that craving when in the area. Can't wait until they open more stores (if that's even a plan) but I'll drive to them because they're that good. read more

Don't waste your money or your time. We arrived at 830 am, stood in line for 25 minutes only to find out there were no blueberry cake donuts, and not because they were already sold out but because they "haven't come out yet". The apple fritter and old fashioned glazed tasted day old, or possibly older. The double chocolate cake was actually moist but was flavorless. The Portland cream had minimal filling. I would consider myself a doughnut connoisseur. When this place opened up, I was excited to go there cause I hadn't been to a voodoo donut Shop before. I remember not being happy with the donuts and I haven't been back in the last eight months until today. I would now consider this place one of the worst donut shops I've been to. My favorite is a jelly filled donut and it looks like this shop fills their donuts with the filling prior to cooking it in the fryer. Which is likely do to donuts not made onsite. All the donuts that had fillings were done this way here, which therefore shows the center of the donut outside, a white color, where the outside of the donut is cook normally. Who in their right mind would cook a donut with the filling in it! No true Baker would! All fillings that go in a donut do so after the cooking process. Not only does it look like it's not cooked in the center, but the donut does not inflate and rise like it should. So when you get a doughnut that looks uncooked in the center on the outside that are flat! After today, I won't be going back to this shop ever again. For me this is a huge disgrace to anyone trying to sell donuts cooked this way! Ps when I first noticed the white spot on the center of the donut I said to the counter girl what is that? She then got very defensive and said the donut was cooked Do you want me to cut it for you to show you!? . What she needs to do (besides adjusting her attitude) is realize customers don't want to spend their money on expensive donuts that look like that! Noone is obligated to spend their money in her store for her to have an attitude when the product she is selling, does NOT look good! read more

I love the fact that they're open longer than the traditional donuts stores. We've been a number of times on a Friday night and the donuts were fresh and delicious. However we went at 8 am on. Monday morning and our glazed donuts were stale. You could tell they were from the night before. This was highly disappointing because now I don't trust that I'll be having a fresh donut with my morning coffee. So back to the regular donut shops for morning donuts. Voodoo is no joke! These are by far the best donuts in Dallas! We always hit Voodoo when we are in other cities like San Antonio, so we were really happy to see one opened in Dallas this year!
