I was in Nashville for vacation and I wanted something healthy. I came to Vui's and was surprised but in a good way that it was located in a food hall. I ordered a bowl, spring roll and dumplings. The staff was great and super welcoming. The food was good, I can't quit put my finger on it, I wanted more of a homey feeling but it hit the spot.

Mood: Post travel meal. After a long travel day having some good food is a must! First time at the location and it was niceeeeee. Having that outside patio action is cool. Not a fan of all the tables being wobbling (tighten them up) Food: Korean style wings 100/100 omg my new order for sure. Flavor blast & nice spicy kick Chicken teriyaki bowl 7/10 kind of dry but the chicken was good. Simple bowl Vui Pho 8/10 was good with spices and flavor but the after taste was a confusing taste. Still ok overall. Would come back for sure and their hunters station location. Service was good. Place was clean.

Vui's has been on my Nashville restaurant bucket list for years and I was so excited to finally be able to try it. After much deliberation (there were so many enticing items on the menu!), I ordered the Vui's Bowl with noodles and tofu. The dish was spectacular -- each bite was packed with flavor, thanks to the mildly spicy chile lime dressing. It paired well with the pickled daikon, fresh mint and cilantro. The crushed peanuts and fried shallots added a slight crunch to each bite. The green leaf spring mix was fresh, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The serving size was just right for lunch. Overall, it was delicious. The outdoor seating area is perfect when the weather is nice, but there is a decent amount of seating indoors as well. I can't wait to come back to explore more of the menu.

Great place! It is an order at the counter place and they had seating both inside and outside. We ordered and grabbed a seat at one of the picnic tables outside and enjoyed the great May afternoon. I got the Beef Pho, and I am embarrassed to say this was my first Pho...how is that possible? Always wanted to try it, but jest never got to it. I think I started off right because this was great. The tender beet, the flavorful broth, the veggies and rice noodles were a fantastic combination. We also got the Spring Rolls which were equally as good. Place has a great casual vibe and the setting, although a busy area, didn't disappoint.

Came here on a trip and it is my second time at Vui's and it's great! The food tastes fresh and the flavors are great. I also had a yummy Thai tea.

I am too spoiled by west coast pho to like this pho. This was not it. It had no depth of flavor and the beef was like...chopped? Instead of slices of ribeye etc. like I'm used to. The limeade & cold brew were good though and so was the spicy slaw I got on the side. Absolutely would never order pho here again though. Also, order took a long time to come out. Wouldn't return.

Service was great, price was right, and food looked pretty, but honestly I had higher expectations for the flavor. The chicken was pretty sweet and I wanted more spice. the rice was okay but it tasted mushy. The restaurant was counter service and it was laid back perfect for a get together with my friends. I don't think i'd come back on my own but maybe it was the wrong dish.

Vui's Berry Hill has been a staple for me for many years since working in Berry Hill area, I realize I have never reviewed it. It's a smaller lot, but usually no issues finding a parking spot and I love that it has a small neighborhood feel. The indoor seating includes about ten cozy 2-seater tables and one larger 6-person table, making it great for 1:1 meals. Outside, they have larger tables and some picnic style tables that are perfect for gatherings when the weather is nice. Normally, I go for the Pho (which is always amazing - regardless of the type of meat, and the broth is decadent), but this time I decided to try something new and went with the Salad Bowl with noodles, cremini mushrooms, and chicken. The chili lime dressing was so flavorful and brought all together. For a salad of sorts it was very satisfying. I love that they offer a healthier alternatives to soda and carbonated water!! Along with a diverse beverage menu! The aesthetic and vibes are calming with chill lights and bamboo decor. Their story is painted on their wall, creating a cozy feel that ties in their missions/values. Also, I really appreciate their team and staff and believe they put a lot of care and attention to their work. I emailed them years ago when starting macro tracking and they were generous to share macros and ingredients with me, which helped stay on course with my goals.

We have eaten at another location and enjoyed it, so this time we tried a different location. Everything was good, but had some things I'd wanna change. I love bahn Mi with pork meatloaf, so I was a little disappointed that the only pork option was pork belly. They were 3 large strips, so it was hard to keep everything in one bite. The toppings and everything were great still though. I loved the steamed dumplings. The chili oil was just the right amount of spice. The above bun was too greasy this time. Didn't do it for me this time around. The inside seating gets busy fast right when they open. It's in a very popular part of town. Service was great and the food itself was very good. I think a pork meatloaf or lunch meat style would be a great addition though.

Rating: 3/5 I recently visited Vui's for a pho craving, and while the ingredients were top-notch, I left feeling a bit disappointed by the flavor. First, let's talk about the positives. The broth was clear and had a clean appearance, and you could tell that the meat was fresh and they cut into strips and it throws of the vibe of pho. The herbs and sprouts were crisp and fresh, and they didn't skimp on the basil or lime. You could tell they take care with their ingredients, which is always a huge plus. However, the flavor just didn't deliver. The broth lacked depth, and there wasn't that rich, complex, umami flavor that I've come to expect from a great bowl of pho. It almost felt too mild, even after adding all the usual accompaniments like sriracha and hoisin sauce. The seasoning felt off-balance, and I ended up needing to add quite a bit of extra seasoning to make it enjoyable. While I can appreciate the quality of the ingredients, the lack of a well-rounded flavor profile left me feeling like something was missing. If you're someone who appreciates freshness but doesn't mind a lighter, less flavorful pho, this place might work for you. But if you're in the mood for a rich, savory bowl that's packed with flavor, this might not be the spot. Service was great, staff is personable and upbeat no negatives there. Parking is tight but easy for me.

Time and time again, Vui's has surpassed my expectations. Amazing every single time and I crave it constantly! The shrimp pho or the bowl are my go-to. The pho broth is flavorful and the vegetables are fresh. The bowl has the most exquisite grilled shrimp. My only small criticism is the drink selection: no Coke OR Pepsi products. There is both indoor and outdoor which I love and sitting outside with my pho on a cloudy day is the perfect combo. I even drove out during a snow storm to eat their pho because it was all I was thinking about! You absolutely must try Vui's!

    Beef Pho Shrimp Summer Rolls
    Taylor B.

This place came up highly recommended. I think it is a "hipster pho place." I mean that by, I don't think the food is of the traditional quality. The broth was bland, I received only 4 small slices of beef. The wrappers for the summer rolls were hard. I don't think Nashville has a high Viet population, so the quality matches that. If you want a decent bowl of pho, I say go for it, but if you've ever experienced proper Vietnamese pho you will leave disappointed.

Every time I'm in Nashville, this is a required stop! But I have MS & it's getting progressively harder to park. Parking is problematic, and I can't find any disabled spots. Are they hidden, or may ADA folks use the reserved delivery spots?

As far as i observed, There weren't specific disabled parking spots. They do have decent number of parking spots on both sides of the restaurants and there is street parking as well.

To our credit, neither of us left a nasty review at the time; it happens in the restaurant business. But five years of watching them stay busy and still standing convinced me it was probably a one-off, so I gave Soy Bistro another shot. I ordered the Hot Chicken -- pan-seared, chargrilled chicken breast with Korean spices, served with house coleslaw and rice. The restaurant was clean, the service attentive, and a genuine highlight: self-serve beverages with large cups of ice-cold water, which I really appreciated. The coleslaw was crisp with a terrific dressing, and the rice was spot on. The chicken itself was a touch dry and could have really used a dipping sauce to pull it all together. At $15.50 -- closer to $20 after tax and tip, I wasn't wowed by the value on this particular dish. The cheesy skillets were flying out of the kitchen and looked amazing, clearly the crowd favorite for a reason. Next visit I haven't found my dish yet, but I have a pretty good idea where to look.

Unfortunately, the experience was even worse. It took over an hour to receive our first round of drinks, and several of them arrived improperly made--including espresso martinis garnished with olives. The second round took even longer, and the overall service flow was chaotic and disorganized. Food and drinks arrived sporadically rather than together, and it was obvious that the staff lacked support and leadership. I want to be clear: our waitress, Ellie, was not the issue. She remained kind, professional, and did her best under impossible circumstances. Our concerns were never directed at her, and she deserves praise for maintaining her composure throughout the evening. The real problem was management. Despite the extensive delays and obvious service breakdowns, no manager proactively came to address the table. When we finally sought assistance ourselves, we were met with excuses rather than accountability. Even more disappointing was Angelo's dismissive and snarky response, telling us to "proceed" when we expressed our concerns. Rather than supporting his staff or attempting to resolve the situation, management's handling of the evening only made matters worse. To add insult to injury, we were presented with a bill claiming the birthday girl's meal had been comped when it had not. A complimentary bottle of champagne delivered at the end of the evening did little to remedy an experience that had already fallen apart. As fellow hospitality professionals, we understand that mistakes happen and generally extend a great deal of grace. What we cannot excuse is the lack of accountability, poor leadership, and the apparent willingness to let a server absorb the consequences of management's failures. Ellie deserved support (which is what the table took care of.) Instead, she was left to fend for herself while management failed both their guests and their staff. Sadly, after two disappointing experiences, I cannot recommend this establishment.
