Unfortunately, this was not it. The massage itself was far from relaxing. I had to ask Maria multiple times to ease up because several techniques were genuinely painful rather than therapeutic. Instead of leaving relaxed, I left tense and uncomfortable. What made the experience even worse was the checkout process. This massage was a birthday gift from my friend and had already been fully paid for in advance. Despite that, I was initially told I owed the full balance. After clarifying that it had already been paid, I was then asked about gratuity, which my friend had also already authorized. The interaction became awkward enough that I ended up putting an additional charge on my own card just to get out of the situation. Any relaxation I might have felt was completely erased at checkout.
