I have gone to this establishment before. I do not remember it being so DIRTY! I should have turned around and walked out when I first walked in because it smelled like the restroom. The whole place smells. BAD. I'm wondering if they have plumbing issues because it was GROSS. Then a man helped us and his hair was everywhere and he was sweating BAD. I get it, it's scorching hot outside and he's in front of a grill BUT why not wear a net??? The female also had her hair in a bun but little hairs all over. The man was grilling and taking orders so when he handed me my receipt he had chicken on his hands and so did my receipt. That was just nasty. They had ice tea near the soda machine with NO LID on top of it! I did try the food and the rice was really smooshy and so many pieces of chicken were burnt. I even waited EXTRA TIME for the chicken because the man said it will take a longer time to cook. I knew then I should have asked for a refund. I'm confused as to what happened to this WaBa Grill. WHY DOES IT SMELL SO BAD?! WHY IS IT SO DIRTY?! Why are the employees not have their hair in a net?! I can say this, the man and the woman were kind! I don't think it's their fault. Holy 10.00 for rice! I got the plantspired and yes it's good but not very much at all. Basically it's a rice bowl with flavoring added at the bare minimum. Staff was nice but I wouldn't recommend if you are hungry. Boo on them. read more

If I could rate this Zero Stars I would!!! First off the manager Krys (Hispanic female) on duty today April 10th at 12:14 is so disrespectful and rude. She does not have people skills to be any manager at any business!!! (She should wear a hair net, will all that fluffy hair) Yesterday evening my husband picked up dinner around 5-6pm. His plate was wrong had no avocado and no garlic sauce as requested but, because he was starving and didn't want to leave home again, he ate it.... My beef bowl was totally wrong. I asked for a beef bowl with brown rice, Avocado and veggies with garlic sauce and I get a beef bowl full of fatty meat (how is this healthy?? Nothing like Flame Broiler) no veggies, no onions, no avocado and no sauce. Really??? You guys charged me almost $11 for rice and meat! So today, I return to bring them back their food and to have it replaced. I physically have the food in hand, untouched and she asked me for my receipt my husband did not receive yesterday after the sale was over! All I said was I didn't get a receipt yesterday, but here's the food just replace it and she grabs it from my hands, throws it away in the kitchen trash can with a bad attitude and says I'll replace it for you. I asked to speak to the manager, the gentleman said she is the manager in duty "really" I then asked for my money back and will take my business to a better healthier place then this dump! I'm going to call the public health department on this place. Flame broiler never has fatty chicken or beef "ever" I basically just came her for the sauce but, I could live with that. This is the second bad experience I had at this location. The first experience was a few months ago. They had a new trainee at the register and he messed up on my order, had it redone only to be wrong again, until thirds the charm. Almost a hour waiting and all I got was sorry. That day I was upset too only because I finally came home early for a change and had to waste an hour here for easy basic instructions!!!! Very disappointed with this try. For the first time I ordered the shrimp bowl. My issue with this location is there is never a manager or someone in charge present. I went in tonight to get dinner for my whole family, one of the bowls I ordered was a steak with white rice, and I've never been so dissapointed! They didn't even fill up the bowl how they normally do, and they didn't even do a whole portion of steak. It literally looked like it was a half served bowl and that's besides the fact that all the chicken in the other bowls was dry as ever. I'm not one to leave reviews but this was absolutely unacceptable. The past couple of times I've been here my food has been gross and not at all the bowls that I'm used to. I continued to go to this location because it was closer to my home even though I was never satisfied with how my food would taste. Today was the last time I'd go here. My chicken tasted burnt, broccoli tasted like dirt, and I'm pretty sure carrots aren't supposed to look like this? (Didn't even want to take a bite of the carrots) I've never had this issue with other Waba Grills but I will definitely drive a little farther just to get the quality that I'm used to and I suggest you do the same. read more

Went here on Dec. 1st. At 6:00. The sales girl at the register was not very good at her job. First I walk in with my son, get to register and I tell my son go ahead and order, so he does, then she said that will be $ 9 something, then I said I would like to order too. So she took my order then gave me the total again, and I said we would like drinks too, so she gives me the total again and asked for here or to go, I said for here. My girlfriend went in to pick up an online order. She told me the kid working the register (7/10/20 12:00pm) was rude to her. She also asked for sauce for three bowls and she said he was rude and when she looked in the bag he only gave her one. Then they also forgot her miso soup. We're on our way to work so we decided not to go back. She then starts eating her dumplings and finds a hair. She calls to report it and ask for a refund and the girl who answers was very rude and only offered to refund for the dumplings cause we really want to go through all of our food looking for hair. Com'on every review on this Yelp are all bad, the people you have running the place are more concerned on going on their break and talking about who's going when right in the middle of my order, and because of that I got all bowls i of 2 plates and 1 bowl. Then the girl that was supposed to be cooking my meal started making herself dumplings first, when the guy ask what are you doing she said making these for me for when I go on my break!! I asked for sauce and she only gave me 2 and I had 3 orders!!! This used to be a go-to place to eat, but DAMN! I did not expect this store to lose itself. The meat is just bland and rubbery. The only thing that gave this food flavor is the Waba sauce. I have ordered the chicken bowl and trust me, it did not taste like it. And the broccoli is not fresh as it is wilting and looks dry. I have been employed with WaBa Grill since December. Since my first day at work I should have known by the way the MANGER Patrica spoke about employees that the work place was not professional nor a place for anyone to work and be treated fair. She only gave coworkers who are now fired one hour to work to make them quit as she specifically told me herself. However in the beginning because she liked me she was giving me hours. I began to speak up regarding not being allowed to go on breaks, because it was only me and one other lady. Whenever I did ask for my break I would have to get off my break just to help a customer.  I understand that my spanish is not so great but I do understand it, so coming into work and having my own manager talk about me with other coworkers is unprofessional. I told the boss Jeet who hired me about it and she completely shut me down and would just say I was wrong. I am a great worker. I work hard.  After I started speaking up I started getting my hours cut. Since February I have been getting ignored by my boss  and manager. I have not been told I am fired or have any texts or responses from the boss or manger at WaBa. I have not received my last check and every Thursday we get our schedule and it's been a week since I received a schedule.  I was only 17 and was getting scheduled to close and open the store all BY MYSELF with NOOOO training at all.  I am still employed with this company so I need to hear from someone to know what's going on. I don't know why I'm being ignored if I'm fired. I recommend not working or even going to this WaBa Grill. The worst job experience ever has literally made me feel so overwhelmed I cry and depressed. Negative stars. read more

Racist black guy at the register, ive been to this place 5 times, the first time the guy at the register asked how he could help, I told him I was picking up an order, he said ok, went back to playing with the register, 10+minutes later I went to check why the 1 plate was taking so long, turns out he flat out ignored me and just pretend to help me, he never printed the receipt for the order to be made or told anyone the order was being picked up. The next 2 times I stood there for 5 minutes he never address me, just played with the register then went and hid to the back, the cook had to come help me. The last time again he flat out refused to acknowledge my presence, I was there at the register for 3 minutes, he never looked up, wtf is he doing in the register for 3 minutes that won't let him look up? Other customers left due to the wait, without food and without refund. My food was overcooked, dumpling were completely black, chicken and steak were burnt. A great alternative to Flame Broiler. Still wish these guys had sriracha. No worries. I brought my own! They also offer avocado now, a nice touch. The store is at the end of a strip mall and the winds in Hesperia can be high so park on the north side near Weinerschnitzel to prevent door dings. I got the chicken bowl with white rice and veggies. This place is so unorganized! We come here at least 3 times a week and it seems the service is getting worse. I just came from there right now and waited 20 minutes for 1 bowl and when I decided to asked how much longer because I seen and heard them just standing there discussing their work schedule with each other the bowl had been sitting on the counter and the guy said oh well it's still warm.
