While she's cooking the chicken she yells "we're all out of chicken" got home to find gross dry, hard pieces of chicken in all 3 of our bowls. Rice has hard pieces and veggies are brown and wilted. I have gone to this establishment before. I do not remember it being so DIRTY! I should have turned around and walked out when I first walked in because it smelled like the restroom. The whole place smells. BAD. I'm wondering if they have plumbing issues because it was GROSS. Then a man helped us and his hair was everywhere and he was sweating BAD. I get it, it's scorching hot outside and he's in front of a grill BUT why not wear a net??? The female also had her hair in a bun but little hairs all over. The man was grilling and taking orders so when he handed me my receipt he had chicken on his hands and so did my receipt. That was just nasty. They had ice tea near the soda machine with NO LID on top of it! I did try the food and the rice was really smooshy and so many pieces of chicken were burnt. I even waited EXTRA TIME for the chicken because the man said it will take a longer time to cook. I knew then I should have asked for a refund. I'm confused as to what happened to this WaBa Grill. WHY DOES IT SMELL SO BAD?! WHY IS IT SO DIRTY?! Why are the employees not have their hair in a net?! I can say this, the man and the woman were kind! I don't think it's their fault. I do not want to return back. The SMELL!!!! HORRIBLE!!! Also, they need better sun blockers!!! Nothing like Flame Broiler) no veggies, no onions, no avocado and no sauce. Really??? You guys charged me almost $11 for rice and meat! So today, I return to bring them back their food and to have it replaced. I physically have the food in hand, untouched and she asked me for my receipt my husband did not receive yesterday after the sale was over! All I said was I didn't get a receipt yesterday, but here's the food just replace it and she grabs it from my hands, throws it away in the kitchen trash can with a bad attitude and says I'll replace it for you. I asked to speak to the manager, the gentleman said she is the manager in duty "really" I then asked for my money back and will take my business to a better healthier place then this dump! I'm going to call the public health department on this place. Flame broiler never has fatty chicken or beef "ever" I basically just came her for the sauce but, I could live with that. This is the second bad experience I had at this location. The first experience was a few months ago. They had a new trainee at the register and he messed up on my order, had it redone only to be wrong again, until thirds the charm. Almost a hour waiting and all I got was sorry. That day I was upset too only because I finally came home early for a change and had to waste an hour here for easy basic instructions!!!! I continued to go to this location because it was closer to my home even though I was never satisfied with how my food would taste. Today was the last time I'd go here. My chicken tasted burnt, broccoli tasted like dirt, and I'm pretty sure carrots aren't supposed to look like this? (Didn't even want to take a bite of the carrots) I've never had this issue with other Waba Grills but I will definitely drive a little farther just to get the quality that I'm used to and I suggest you do the same. read more
