First time trying out this spot in October. My parents have been here about 5 or 6 times. Food here was good and the portion are huge. I ordered a regular hamburger, my dad got the burger with bacon and my mom got the Denver omelette. This is her go to order here, it comes with pancake and hash brown. Overall, food was delicious and service was attentive and friendly.

    French toast is great.

The ambiance at this place is great, it gives me a classical cabin vibe. The food was peak, the waffles were great, and so was the French toast and eggs. The service was great, our waiter was super polite and the food came super fast. My family had a great time here. This is our new spot!

Like others have mentioned this is an old-time diner that has been in this location for years with pretty much the same staff and repeat customers. Place is large, we've gone there when it's been busy and when it's slow and the service is always efficient and friendly. Prices are also good and portion sizes are large. We like that the meats are good quality, ham, bacon, and sausage. We've tried just about all the diners in Manteca and their bacon and breakfast sausage is the best. Even when we ordered the mini or light entrées, we still end up taking leftovers home. We also like the pancakes which are huge and fluffy.

We were promptly seated on a Sunday at about 1pm and ordered beverages right away. I tried the corned beef hash and eggs, ordered crispy corner beef with eggs on the lighter side as I don't like dry scrambled eggs. Corned beef was mushy, not crispy though. Also ordered the hash browns crispy and it came with biscuits and gravy. My goodness! So so much food! I had at least a whole meal for two left over! Hubby got chorizo and eggs, with potatoes. Again, giant sized and at least another meal. It was good, not great but server was fantastic.

Country Omelette with country potatoes and Enchilada Omelette.

I ordered a plate of crispy hashbrowns topped with tender pulled pork, smothered in rich, creamy gravy, and sprinkled with fresh jalapeños for a perfect kick. It was comforting without being heavy, like a warm hug you didn't know you needed. But the best part? They had fun flavored mimosas that made brunch feel like a celebration. We tried a few different flavors, and each one was bright, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the savory food. (Rachel Green would approve.) The staff was friendly, kept the coffee refills coming, and made us feel welcome without hovering. The prices were fair, and the portions were generous enough to leave you full but not overly stuffed. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food, good vibes, and a reason to say "How you doin'?" to your mimosa, this is it. Can't wait to come back and bring friends for a brunch round two.

Service- the staff were nice, but they were slow. Granted, there was a large table ahead of us, so +1 for that Food- I ordered the kalua pork and rice. The kalua pork was probably reheated on the griddle, kind of salty, it was meh. The biggest disappointment was the rice. It was hard. For a "Hawaiian" restaurant to not know how to cook rice is sad. This place has potential. I don't know if they are tired or don't have that spark. Maybe they need a new location. The park across the street has a bunch of unhoused folks.

My favorite is the chorizo omelette with a side of strawberries. The omelette is flavorful without being greasy, and the strawberries are always fresh and delicious. The toast is decent, though I think trying a different bread brand could make it even better. The servers are consistently friendly and attentive. Orders come out quickly, and coffee refills are always topped off without having to ask. Overall, Frank's is a great spot for breakfast and definitely worth checking out.

Aaliyah greeted us as soon as we walked in and directed us towards our table. Coincidentally, she was also our server. It was like we knew her for years. Aaliyah was friendly and attentive. We started with the mimosa flights. We couldn't decide on flavors, however, Aaliyah picked a variety of flavors for us, so we were covered. The food came out hot! I had the meat lover skillet with eggs over-easy. The eggs were cooked perfect. The warm yolk added to the flavorful meat and smothered potatoes. René had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and tender. Next time we'll ask for a side of sauce because it's so good that we needed more than provided, at least for us. One thing we noticed was that every customer was happy. Maybe the other customers were regulars there but this was our first time and we were treated like we were regulars. I think it just says something about the attention to customer service. Toward the end of our visit, "B" one of Sheila's daughters, came out to check on us. Again, it was like talking to a long time friend. Well, it turns out Sheila B'Z is a family business - - everyone working was family, including those working the food truck at an event today. I love that. We will totally be back!

They were closing in 1 minute. The waitress said she had to ask the kitchen staff if they were still open. She came back at the same time another waitress came back. They informed me they were no longer open for dine-in. I started begging them that technically they were still open, while I would completely understand if they were to reject me. About that time, a person, later identified as Jesus C., (Manager) approached me. I again told him I knew what I wanted and promised to order and eat right away. He had no problem with that and seated me. I expressed my heartfelt thanks for his service to his customers. I immediately ordered the meatloaf dinner and a drink, which is what I was in the mood for. Anyway, long story short was that the food was great and the service was fantastic. I actually thought there was no way they would feed me, but due to a customer minded Manager, they did. One of my best experiences at a restaurant. I love BBD for breakfast or dinner. The portion size of all meals is very stisfactory and the quality of food, the same. Great experience. Of course, I will continue to patronize BBD anytime I'm passing through the area and need a meal. I just wish there was a BBD in Stockton. They offer a wide variety of country/old-fashioned breakfast and lunch items. I ordered the Denver omelet with hashbrowns and a biscuit with gravy. The omelet came out piping hot with perfectly diced and crunchy bell peppers. The ham had a nice flavor and crispness. I really enjoyed the flavor of the gravy. It had the perfect amount of pepper in it and wasn't overly runny. The biscuits however were a bit hard, almost as if they had come out of a can. The hashbrowns were mushy to me.
