    Peanut Butter Madness

Waffle House catered an Employee Party and our entire group was satisfied with their offerings. I ordered the Peanut Butter Madness (Belgian Waffle topped with Peanut Butter Mousse, Real Whipped Cream, Chocolate Sauce, and Showered with crushed up Peanut Butter Cups). Absolutely delicious! The Whipped Cream to Waffle/Topping ratio was off by a few scoops but who doesn't like Whipped Cream!?! Friendly staff, quick to order and a great snack for our party. Highly recommend having them cater your event or party!

I've got a crush on Waffle Crush!! First off, this body was built by Nutella! Second, a waffle topped with Nutella, bananas and whipped cream and a caramel sauce??? I'm down any day! I have to thank my wife for Turning me on to waffle crush a few years ago. She faithfully follows them on Instagram and lets me know where they are. I guess you could say we stock them just for their waffles. Crispy waffles topped with anything you desire that's on their menu, what else could you ask for? The texture of the food complements each other miraculously. Sorry Yelpers, I'm NOT the culinary expert they are, so I can't tell you exactly what makes them so good. All I can say is if you see them at a farmers market or follow them on Instagram, stop and Get yourself some. Its heaven on your plate.

This is sooo good. I had the Nanas which is Nutella, bananas and fresh made whipped cream. My daughter had the Worms and Dirt which is chocolate mousse, gummy worms, whipped cream and crushed Oreos. They are also a bakery and have cookies, cupcakes, macaroons, coffee cake and more. The owner was so friendly! The next time I am in Arizona I will definitely be back!!

I had the cinna-sugar waffle at the Waffle Crush food truck at Ballet Under the Stars in Tempe Beach Park. There wasn't anything particularly special about it, it just tasted like a churro with vanilla ice cream. This was just an "okay" experience, nothing to write home about, but not bad.

Well, there are (at least) two new Waffle Trucks in town: Waffle Love AZ and Waffle Crush. Both have opened within the last month-ish and they both seem to like parking in my back yard (not complaining!) Being lovers of waffles (particularly waffles of the amazingly sweet, sugary leige-sort), we of course needed to give both a whirl. I believe that I read that Waffle Crush is run by some ladies from Queen Creek. We've visited them most often in the parking lot of the American Leadership Academy at Greenfield and Pecos - it is a pretty diabolical location as it is directly on our way pretty much any/everywhere as we head to the freeway. My young son now identifies that intersection as "Waffle" any time we pass it. They have also joined the Power Ranch Farmers Market one Wednesday, which was phenomenal as my grandmother could walk over to grab a waffle with my son (nothing else is really within close walking distance here) Location: The two locations we've visited have been nice - American Leadership Academy's parking lot has been empty of normal traffic during the times that we've gone, which means that the only cars there are there for the Waffle truck. There's plenty of space to park and a big clear area around the truck itself where you wait. There is also a nice park just across the street, which can be a scenic place to enjoy your waffles if you don't enjoy the eat-standing-up-or-in-your car experience. The Power Ranch Farmer's Market was also nice, with a big grassy area nearby and sidewalk on the side of the truck where you ordered. Both options were well lit and they often have several lawn chairs set up for some guests to sit in while they wait. Process: The lines are long - this is a fact. The waffles take awhile - also a fact. You generally order when you get to the window, they take your name, run your credit card on the iPad. There is a spot to provide a tip BUT I noticed that they only offer you set tip options (15%, 20%, 25%) ... not a huge fan of this as it is not a table service restaurant (they are handing me my food through a window) and so a 20 or 25% tip is WAY HIGH for the amount of actual service provided. Even 15% is a lot when 3 waffles will run you almost $25, which means that you're leaving a $4 or $5 tip for the lowest percentages. The Menu: Your basic option is the yum-tastic Liege Waffle. They do something unique in that you can order a chocolate-filled waffle, which seems to be a waffle that is somehow layered with chocolate in the middle; yummy but SO sweet. They have some great suggested waffles - the "Berry" is my go to, with Biscoff, Strawberries, and Whipped Cream (the thick, real whipped cream that is almost like icecream but soft and a perfect topping) "Nana" is another favorite in our family, with Bananas, Nutella, and Whipped Cream. They have the "Mellow" which is s'moresish with chocolate filling and toasted marsmallows, and the perfect option for my son and grandmother who don't go overboard - the Cinnamon Sugar, which is simply the waffle rolled in a Cinnamon Sugar mix. The Goods: The waffles are delicious Liege waffles that use special waffle irons that caramelize the sugar on the waffles providing a crispier, sweet exterior that contrasts the soft and fluffy interior perfectly. There is something to their batter that isn't my favorite - a slightly sharp after taste that sometimes puts me off, but is usually pretty well masked by the toppings so it's not that big of a deal. The toppings are delicious and the combinations they suggest are all creative and tasty. Service: We've been several times and the faces seem to always be the same people, which is nice! They go out of their way to be friendly, and on one night where we arrived early when there wasn't much of a line, we even got a little overview and sample of the Biscoff spread form one of the proprietors. Overall - They seem to have a good grasp on their concept and provide an excellent end-to-end experience from location to menu to service. Their prices are a little bit higher and again, the tip thing is slightly annoying, but given the choice we definitely would return here as often as they're close by! They have a punch card that we'll definitely make use of :)

I've visited the truck a few times & have found an absolute favorite! -- A waffle with biscoff. I can't get enough. I definitely have a waffle crush!

I tried out waffle crush for the first time recently and was happy to see that they have sweet and savory items to choose from I opted for savory and ordered the ham and cheese. The sandwiche was delicious.

Best waffle ever. I have tried the other guys before such as waffle love and the Swedish one. Not even on the same level. I like the Mello waffle the best. Great balance of sweet and the biscoff seals the deal. Give them a shot.

    Menu! The "Berry" is delish.

Stopped by office max this morning and OH MY GOD I saw the truck!!! The beautiful pink truck and my mind was like "IS THAT THE TRUCK!?!?" I picked up some pens, and went straight over to purchase a waffle. But first, I was a newbie, so I stepped back for a couple minutes and watched how things operated. There were people waiting, and I saw someone walk up to the window and ordered. So I'm like, oh that's easy! I was initially going to get the "Nana," but I decided to try something new and got the "Berry" instead because it had a biscoff spread. I read reviews and saw people were raving about Biscoff, so I decided to give it a try, not knowing what it was. HOLY. MOLY. It was DIVINE. (I loved it so much I actually went to my Winco and purchased a crunchy Biscoff jar!) Biscoff is the new Nutella basically. It's ground up Biscoff cookies (the one they serve on airplane flights) and a little oil. And it tastes sooooo good. Tastes like ground up graham cracker spread. They type your order in the iPad, ask for your name and you can pay cash or card. I paid cash, but if you paid with a credit card they'll swipe it on the iPad and it'll give you tip percentage options. I made sure to ask for my waffle in a to-go container first because it usually comes out on a plate, and they don't offer it unless you ask for the to-go box. The waffle itself is very thick and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. It isn't like your typical waffle, I did some research and instead of a batter it is a yeast dough with imported pearl sugar mixed in to give a caramelized outside and fluffy sweet inside. It's a very sturdy waffle that's piled with generous amounts of topping, in my case, crunchy Biscoff spread, strawberries and a scoop of a luxuriously thick homemade whipped cream. You definitely need a fork and knife to wolf this sucker down. Don't be fooled, though, it may look small but I was definitely full before I finished the entire waffle. It was a little wait for the waffle, as they do make it fresh, and a little pricey, but it was worth it. I was hooked, so I went on their Facebook and they do multiple locations every day. Be sure to follow them and stalk them to get your next Líege waffle. I know I will!

Out of all of the amazing choices, I ended up ordering the cookie crusher. My first bite, I was in awe, I immediately made my boyfriend taste it. Nothing short of amazing. Waffle was hot and fresh. Ready to try the rest of the menu!

AMAZING. You will never eat another waffle compared to this. We visited the truck at the Gilbert Farmers Market. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes. I opted for The Berry waffle. One delicious waffle, moist on the inside, crispy sugar goodness on the outside, topped with Biscoff, strawberries, and one large scoop of whipped cream goodness. I will never have another waffle quite like this. Make sure you have a water or black coffee near by to balance out the sweetness!

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. There was a group of servers standing around chatting, and no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a server came over just to offer water and ask about drinks. We placed our drink order, and while the coffee came in a carafe, it wasn't even hot. The rest of the drinks trickled out later. Then it was another 20+ minutes before the server came back to take our food order. We ordered two simple build-your-own breakfasts and an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (no fries), plus two Cobb salads to go. Nothing complicated--yet the food took a long time to come out. During that entire wait, our server never checked on us once. No updates, no refills, nothing. When the food finally arrived, we ate, and again--no check-in, no "how is everything," no refill offers. Eventually, she dropped the check off without a word. We had to remind her about the two Cobb salads we ordered to go. She said they'd be right out, and a couple minutes later they showed up with a revised bill. Before leaving, we checked the salads--and that was the final straw. For $18, they were basically side salads. No cheese, no grilled chicken, no avocado, no croutons, no green onions, and not even any hard boiled eggs--just iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing. Completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be a Cobb salad. We waited at the table for about 5 minutes for someone to come back--no one did. So we went up front and stood there another 5 minutes while multiple staff members ignored us, continuing their closing routines. Not a single person asked if we needed help, and our server was nowhere to be found. At that point, we left the salads behind, paid for the rest of the meal, and walked out. Terrible service from start to finish, and the food quality didn't make up for it. We won't be back.

While we were dining, it got very busy & as we were wondering where everyone was going to sit, people started walking through the glass door between the two eateries. Drinks: lots of choices. We opted for the $16 horchata flight (flan, strawberry, mocha, espresso). The former two were my favs because I don't like coffee, but my sister def enjoyed the latter two. Food: hefty breakfast sandwich w/ sausage, cream ala creme (biscuit & fruit), BHH French toast w/ bacon. The sammy was made w/ three eggs so it was a large sammy, kinda messy. I think they need to spread out the eggs a bit more so they cover more space & don't slip out from between the bun as easily. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy. The French toast was also a hefty serving, especially w/ the bacon tacked on. The biscuit came out w/o the whipped cream, but the young gentleman quickly brought it out when I pointed out it was M.I.A. It was not as sweet as I was expecting; not sure I'd get that again. Service: great. Order at the counter, get a number, sit down, & it's brought to you -- and it was brought out very quickly. When ready, go up to the counter and order, bringing back a table number for delivery (or to go) The service was very friendly, and the food came out quick. They do have alcohol as well for those who like a boozy brunch. As for the food, I judge places by their biscuits and gravy... And this was one of my favorites. The biscuit was juicy, buttery perfection and the gravy was real, not the bland packet gravy some places use. The bacon came out at the exact crispness for the best melt in your mouth bite, and they were huge pieces. The hashbrowns were good, nothing fancy though. Eggs cooked perfect (over easy for me). I also got the mocha iced latte and it was very chocolate forward, not much coffee flavor, but still tasty. My only complaint, and I mean ONLY complaint, is that price point. I spent $25 for the biscuits and gravy with a coffee and left hungry. I think had they given me two biscuits instead of just one, maybe that would fix everything. Nevertheless, I do recommend trying this place out

After looking around (they weren't busy at this moment), we choose a table closer over to the kitchen and their view window. I always love sitting near the chef's watching them prep and cook. They have a daily special and today was my favorite, eggs benedict. I actually waivered back and forth between this and their pork chop and eggs but ultimately went with the server choice of the benedict. You don't get a dedicated server, they are roaming and everything is there to help and support you, keep drinks coming, serving, etc. Wife choose The Hog & Chick, their version of a basic eggs/bacon or sausage, and toast breakfast. She didn't specify which potatoes and it came with your classic shredded hash browns which was cooked well, crispy on the outside and tender and soft in the center. She asked for the sausage patties, which had a slight kick to them. The dish comes with a slice of their thick sourdough toast and that most delicious home-made strawberry jam. A wonderful, tasty dish! I want to get back to my breakfast...I specifically asked for the home fries and what a disappointment. Yes, I probably could have sent them back but didn't. My biggest issue...they were so, so greasy. I loved the caramelized onions and the bits of rosemary but overall, just way to greasy for me. I did like their hollandaise sauce, although it also needed more lemon flavor. I had the poached eggs and they were cooked to perfection. Ok and lastly, I just want to say that I was a bit concerned with some of the hygiene I witnessed while sitting and watching both the server's area and the chefs in the kitchen. Had an environmental specialist been present, there most likely would have been some writing up. Things like...new server enters space, places both of her cups on the counter, punches in, pulls her hair back into a ponytail, moves her cups off to the side and goes to work. No handwashing observed. In the kitchen I watched a couple of servers and chefs touch hair, face, pull up pants, etc. and continue to cut, chop, serve. Bare hands observed while prepping including a pulling up of pants, the push back of the side hairs and then reaching over, peeling and slicing a banana and putting the pieces bare-handed into a bowl for serving. When you are in the moment, these actions happen without realizing it but as a customer watching...not Kosher. I asked about their outdoor patio area...it's not pet friendly so wanted to share that.
