I had high hopes for Hash Kitchen, but this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. There was a group of servers standing around chatting, and no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a server came over just to offer water and ask about drinks. We placed our drink order, and while the coffee came in a carafe, it wasn't even hot. The rest of the drinks trickled out later. Then it was another 20+ minutes before the server came back to take our food order. We ordered two simple build-your-own breakfasts and an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (no fries), plus two Cobb salads to go. Nothing complicated--yet the food took a long time to come out. During that entire wait, our server never checked on us once. No updates, no refills, nothing. When the food finally arrived, we ate, and again--no check-in, no "how is everything," no refill offers. Eventually, she dropped the check off without a word. We had to remind her about the two Cobb salads we ordered to go. She said they'd be right out, and a couple minutes later they showed up with a revised bill. Before leaving, we checked the salads--and that was the final straw. For $18, they were basically side salads. No cheese, no grilled chicken, no avocado, no croutons, no green onions, and not even any hard boiled eggs--just iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing. Completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be a Cobb salad. We waited at the table for about 5 minutes for someone to come back--no one did. So we went up front and stood there another 5 minutes while multiple staff members ignored us, continuing their closing routines. Not a single person asked if we needed help, and our server was nowhere to be found. At that point, we left the salads behind, paid for the rest of the meal, and walked out. Terrible service from start to finish, and the food quality didn't make up for it. We won't be back. read more

Our server was amazing and when we came back for the second time we specifically asked to be back in her section. If you like biscuits get the boujee biscuits. It was a cold, windy day so luckily the inside bar seats were open. We both ordered mimosa flights and shared the Hashouka (from the limited time menu). Once seated the server and service was great, the server would come in and check in at a good interval to make sure everything was going well. The food here is pretty expensive but that about goes the same with most brunch places. Unfortunately we did not think either our of dishes were worth it. I ordered the best birria hash and it was suuuuper oily with the potatoes swimming in oil. I ate the birria and the rest was leftover. This dish was about $20. My partner got the fruity pebbles toast and he said the insides were sticky as if it weren't cooked all the way through. This dish was a whopping $18 for a toast!!!!! I decided the $8 billionaires bacon was the best part out of the 3 which was kind of unfortunate because we were really excited for the brunch entrees! I went for brunch the other day and it was lovely. I've been to this location before and this experience was much quieter which was wonderful. The menu changed since the last time I was here and my favorite item is gone :( There were so many great options on the menu though which made it hard to choose. I went for the Cubano scramble today and it was tasty. One issue I found upon eating the rest at home was one potato was hard/uncooked. Otherwise the rest was great. I will admit the only reason this place got 4 stars was because even though the chilaquiles was DELICIOUS I mean the flavor was AMAZING. The tortilla chips were so soggy . Super disappointing but the meal was honestly still so delicious, I was upset but still ate it because the flavors were so good. I'd definitely recommend you get them but maybe ask that the chips are crunchy. Overall this place is reasonably priced and I will DEFINITELY be coming back for brunch again. When we were seated, we weren't given a drink menu--I actually had to go back up to find one myself. Our waitress seemed overbooked and it took quite a while before she was able to get to our table. I ordered the BYO Bloody Mary, but had to wait again for someone to help me with it. The bar was also out of several basic items for the Bloody Mary toppings, which was frustrating. Then our food order came out completely wrong. On a positive note, the lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious, and the Bump N Rind drink was fantastic. The bloody Mary bar had so many options, even for a vegetarian, from the pickled asparagus, artichokes, mushrooms and cauliflower to the different options of olives and cheese, it was practically a meal. My wife had the unlimited mimosas, strawberry, and the servers were observant and quick with the refills, including more strawberry puree. I had freakin hair in my food. I come here all the time! So upset & disappointed on their service. I was on a wait list waited an hour even being on the wait list. After we checked in and said our table will be ready in 10 min 40 min later after I followed up we finally get seated. They were more concerned with the bigger parties vs the smaller parties. We got there before sone people but they got served first. Everything was bad this time around. I'm not sure if Managers changed, but I guess it's time to find a new brunch spot. The food was delicious and each dish was huge, so bring a huge appetite. The bloody Mary bar was definitely my favorite. They have many different varieties to add to your bloody Mary's but make it worth it because you only have one chance at the bloody Mary bar per each order.
