    Sausage hash brown bowl. $10.50.

Everyone loves Waffle House. Well maybe not everyone but everyone I want to know. One of the chains highlights is consistency from store to store. Anywhere you go it's the same fast service and good food. Because of that I seldom rate Waffle House locations because they are all pretty much the same. I wanted to give a special shout out to this Chamblee location. I stopped for a quick breakfast on my way to work this morning. The place was slammmed. Every seat filled. Only 3 employees present. Two ladies waiting on the entire restaurant and one guy on the grill. And it was great. I found a place at the counter and Carol took my order and got me my food quick. My hash brown bowl was cooked perfect and I made my morning meeting in time. Good work Carol. Good work Waffle House.

Friday the fam and I had a craving for the Waffle House and of course we went to our favorite one! I love this Waffle House for so many reasons...so let's get into it! First off once you walk in you always feel welcomed and it feels like family. For my mom and son it is because we use to live across the street and this was their spot when I was at work lol anyway back to business, the staff is always so bright and welcoming, almost everyone speaks as you walk in and I love that. Second it is ALWAYS clean! Cleanliness is hugeeee to me and my mom and this Waffle House is ALWAYS clean, the restrooms are spic n span! Now babbbyyyyy let's get into the food! The Food is ALWAYS ALWAYSSSS ALWAYSSS cooked to perfection! Now we sit with Ms.Carol because hunny she is life and I love me a good time and good food with the service to match. I'm a pumpkin girl so naturally I order the pumpkin waffle and it was everything I expected, you can taste the hints of common and nutmeg and the pumpkin is on point and it has pecans in it and then the whip to finish tooo good! I also ordered steak and eggs which were excellent. Mommy ordered the streak and eggs as well and she took it down baby. We did not come to play. My little man had his waffle and apple juice and helped mommy and myself fix up our coffee lol. Which was freshly brewed by the way. If you're in the area pay them a visit! You won't regret it!!!

This was my first visit to a Waffle House in over a year, and I had a great experience! There were only 5 customers at the most at any given time eating in the restaurant while I was here, so social distancing was easy to maintain. Others dropped in to pick up their called in orders, but they were waiting no more than 5 minutes. Parking was easy to find right in front of Waffle House. As I walked up to the restaurant, signs with bar codes were posted on the glass windows. If customers scanned the bar code, they could get the Waffle House menu on their phone eliminating the need to handle physical menus, so I scanned the code and started looking at the menu. I was immediately greeted with a "Welcome to Waffle House" as I walked in. I looked around and noticed all of the employees were wearing face masks, and all of the booths were separated by tall plexiglass attached to the backs of the bench seats. The counter and tall counters looked like it was up to individual customers to social distance from each other. The air conditioning temp was turned down low, but that was okay with me because I run hot and it also meant that the air was continuously circulating. A server quickly walked over to me as soon as I sat at a booth away from others. I had already decided what I wanted, so I ordered a hash brown bowl with hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese and some gravy on top (don't judge)! It took about 10 minutes for my early lunch to be served. The food was piping hot and oh so good. Even with the a/c turned down low, my food never got cold, maybe because I ate it quickly. I feel I got a generous helping of food. The hash browns were crispy on the edges and softer in the middle. The eggs were scrambled and well done but still fluffy. The gravy had a slightly salty and sausage-y flavor and a nice thick (but not too thick) consistency, and my server didn't scrimp on the amount of gravy she ladled onto the eggs and hash browns. Yeah ... it was delicious! I left with a full stomach and a satisfaction knowing I got more than my money's worth.

scorched runny eggs (how many is that?
looks like 2) versus 3 fluffy scrambled eggs with cheese

I have been visiting this location for over 20 years. I am crying because I have to take my medicine that requires food. I ordered 3 eggs with cheese a side of bacon and 1 piece of Texas toast. Now you know eggs with cheese are supposed to be fluffy not runny. I cannot taste the cheese unless the cheese is the scorched part on the eggs. I guess the guy was new and he had no help this morning. But I am so disappointed. Sorry, but he needs more training as I would hate to see this location go down because of the cooking. The service was great as always, the little lady tried to calm my anxiety and it worked and I said oh no worries he's new. But even new people know how to make scrambled eggs with cheese. I am stuck in my office with no other recourse because I have to take my medicine.

Im not sure if its the time of the night i went 1 am sat but this place looked like a disaster area. Ive worked at wh before and ive never seen a time where all the tables and high counter was dirty with plates and no one really in the restaraunt ..my only guess is the staff neded more training on prebussing the tables...other than that the food was great and waitress was also great..

The Waffle House isn't the cleanest restaurant let me be the first to say. But the breakfast is so good you can kinda get passed the fact that it's a small little rinky dink diner that will leave you full the rest of the day and the prices can't be beat.

SO ... a WaHo is a WaHo is a WaHo, right? Nope. Please go here - yes, the menu is the same as any other location, but this one is special because of the people. Mr Jimmy masters a mean cooktop - and he'll flirt with you in the most honest and clever way possible (I got a whole two minutes of how I had a good spirit he saw when I walked in - his delivery can't be properly described in a review, but go with me here). He'll add extra extra bacon to your grilled cheese, too. Clean, friendly, welcoming and all good stuff. 12-1am when nobody's really there because it's not in the midst of bar-land or people-getting-off-work land, it's perfect for that indulgence you want (you- you know you want hash browns! That was my app last night.) and a good spot for reading a book with your coffee, with the only distractions being pleasant chatter with the four or so people around, and a mug refill when you need it. Go!

Not many clients but to go order neglected

Always have had a pleasant experience here. Picking up a to-go order since the other nearby waffle houses could not take to go orders. So it's pretty reliable here. Although they told me 10-15 minutes, when I got there 15 minutes later, it seems like they just started making the food. I still had to wait 10-15 minutes. Also the restaurant wasn't completely full. So it feels like the pick up orders are neglected. The sausage patties were too hard to be edible.

No pride in their job, shenanigans galore.

At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!

Sometimes their open hours are a bit off, as if been before during regular hours and they've been closed. I'll also add that the entrance can be confusing as Family Baking shares space or simply is owned by Rolls Village. None of this stops me from stopping by. The cherry on top is that the service is truly phenomenal. I love being greeted where I spend money, and the guy who frequently mans the cash register has such great energy. Coming into it, around early dinner time hour, it was fair to say a slow evening for a Saturday. This provided us a fair chance to be able to not feel rushed during this experience. Server and food runners were on point. Server knew the menu and what to suggest as popular meals and what his favorites were. He also informed us that food was made from scratch and the ribs were already sold out! Bummer as that would've been a go to choice! The restaurant it self seemed cleaned and a sleek look to it. We chose 2 fried chicken meals and steak and frite. These dishes were to brag about 100%, wish I could've met the head chef and supervisor on shift to let them how wonderful the food was and that the staff have great personality and professional! This chicken meals were beyond what could've fool me as a homemade chicken made by someone's grandma! The steak was cooked to perfection that could've melted in your mouth. Due to my son's birthday, the server offered a complimentary dessert for him to have! I recommend this place or their other locations 10/10!

The atmosphere felt like a casual new age, better, slightly more upscale and elegant version of Applebees, if that makes sense. Homey vibe but elegantly casual? Off rip I ordered a sweet tea which was phenomenal. It tasted like it has a slight peach undertone to it, and it was the right amount of sweet. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp as my appetizer and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and brussels (I dont like coleslaw). I was told the bacon wrapped shrimp was a new menu item. For $19? They were cool. The fried chicken was really good. It was still steaming hot inside, when I took my first bite. The chicken was tender and had a good crunch to it. The brussels were okay. I typically like a more sweet glaze on my brussels but they did the job. I liked the mashed potatos, they were a little runny; the gravy made up for that though. I'm not a biscuit person but the biscuit that came with this meal was very soft, fluffy, moist, and had butter throughout. It was a bummer the only choices of hot sauce available were Tabasco and Cholula. I usually like Texas Pete, Crystal, or Louisiana hot sauce in my chicken. I WILL say, the monkey bread was SOOOOO good. So soft, warm, with apples and vanilla ice cream. If I knew it was this good I would have ordered 2 to go. Ultimately everything my was good, I had a great experience, and lots of leftovers.
