They were just plain waffles with syrup and didn't have anything that made them stand out. The chicken strips were the biggest disappointment. They were incredibly bland. It didn't taste like the chicken or the breading had been seasoned at all. The only sauce they included tasted like sweet chili sauce, which just didn't go well with chicken and waffles. I've had this dish at other restaurants where the flavors really come together, but this version completely missed the mark. The banana pancakes were some of the driest pancakes I've ever eaten. The bananas were dry, the pancakes were dry, and there was almost no flavor. I didn't think it was possible to mess up banana pancakes, but these were terrible. The eggs and bacon were fine, but they were just average. Nothing about them stood out. For the price, I expected much better food. I ate the eggs and bacon, but the pancakes went straight into the trash. I took one bite of a chicken strip, ate about a quarter of one waffle, and threw the rest away because I just couldn't enjoy it. Overall, this meal was a complete disappointment and definitely wasn't worth the money. Based on this experience, I won't be ordering from Eggs Up Grill again.
