The food was ok. There was a strand of hair in my hash browns. The waffle was under cooked along with the eggs. I ordered SCRAMBLED eggs but they were RUNNY. The service was quick but their table side manners need a lot of improvement. They just threw the straws at me. The place was dirty. I was seated in front of were they wash the dishes and they did not even dry them completely.

This is the best Waffle House that I've ever been to. The staff is great ! ASHLEY is a great server! It was extremely busy but the food was hot and delicious. The woman that seated us was awesome as well! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!! The ambiance was great everyone happy and enjoying the food, and restaurant is extremely clean no matter how busy. Thank you Waffle House staff for a great dining experience.

Visited this Waffle house on 25 June 2022 at approximately 12:30 a.m. 1st let me say that I had a very good experience. My experience was solely due to the young waitress and young cook personal efforts. The service was slow but not because of their efforts. They were overwhelmed. Approximately 15-20 walked in right behind us. Serval left due to the wait time. But with only two workers (cook and waitress/ busser) the wait was long. I attribute this negative way time experience to management or lack of proper scheduling of employees. On summer Saturday night, there should have been at least three employees scheduled to work. The management of this Waffle House is directly responsible for the lose of revenue for at least fifteen customers (while I was there).

I've been to a lot of Waffle Houses. This one hits different. The staff is nice and I have yet to get sweat or hair in my food.

I ordered the chicken and waffles along with the banana pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The waffles were okay, but they were nothing special. They reminded me of the waffles you make at a hotel breakfast where you pour the batter into the waffle maker yourself. They were just plain waffles with syrup and didn't have anything that made them stand out. The chicken strips were the biggest disappointment. They were incredibly bland. It didn't taste like the chicken or the breading had been seasoned at all. The only sauce they included tasted like sweet chili sauce, which just didn't go well with chicken and waffles. I've had this dish at other restaurants where the flavors really come together, but this version completely missed the mark. The banana pancakes were some of the driest pancakes I've ever eaten. The bananas were dry, the pancakes were dry, and there was almost no flavor. I didn't think it was possible to mess up banana pancakes, but these were terrible. The eggs and bacon were fine, but they were just average. Nothing about them stood out. For the price, I expected much better food. I ate the eggs and bacon, but the pancakes went straight into the trash. I took one bite of a chicken strip, ate about a quarter of one waffle, and threw the rest away because I just couldn't enjoy it. Overall, this meal was a complete disappointment and definitely wasn't worth the money. Based on this experience, I won't be ordering from Eggs Up Grill again.

I did feel my peppers and onion were way undercooked and they skimped on the cheese. Didn't feel very loaded to me like a loaded baked potato would be. My husband got the 3 egg omelet. Service was phenomenal! Our server was friendly. And it took less than 10 minutes for our food to come out!

I'd be one of them for sure if I lived here! It has a kind of hidden huge and gorgeous dining area in the back. We didn't have time to sit for a full meal unfortunately. So we got coffee and matcha - all excellent and balanced - not overly sweet at all. I got a bacon egg & cheese on a tortilla which was sooo good. This place & the hood gave me NYC in the 80s/90s vibes and I love it. Aaktun is owned by the Michelin recommended Little Bull folks, which I have also reviewed & loved.

My second drink didn't come until after we were done with mains and before bringing mains, our dishes weren't cleared from small plates so we were handing dirty plates to the person serving our food to make room on the table. Then they never came back with new silverware or plates so we again had to flag someone down. Before 7pm they were also out of the half chicken and they bread pudding dessert. Then it came time to pay and trying to use an open table credit was a nightmare. The manager simply said "we don't take that, we moved to toast" but the reservation was made through the credit as a place to use it.

The booths are spotless, comfy, and practically beg you to linger--at least until the crowd rolls in. When it's quiet, it's charming. When it's busy, it's loud. Think espresso machines competing with over enthusiastic kids and a room that amplifies every giggle, shuffle, and snack-time negotiation. Intimate in size, big on personality, and absolutely buzzing when the tiny humans take over--come for the coffee, stay for the chaos (or bring noise-canceling headphones). The staff here are the kind of friendly that feels genuine, not rehearsed--always attentive, always moving, They whip up a solid cortado with confidence, but where they really shine is the cappuccino: velvety, balanced, and clearly made by people who care about the details. The breakfast sandwiches are freshly made, warm, and reliably good--nothing fancy or overthought, just simple, satisfying fuel done right. The prices have a bit of main-character energy--slightly higher than you expect, confidently so, your wallet may raise an eyebrow, but the coffee shrugs and says, worth it. Cheers!

I've only ordered coffee and food here, although, they have dirty sodas, teas and smoothies that might be good, I've just never tried. If you're a true coffee drinker, meaning you like the taste of coffee without adding a bunch of milk and sugar, you will not enjoy. I tried their "pre made" coffees and they're very sweet with minimal coffee taste. I've attempted to deviate from the menu and special order, but the staff are not baristas, they had no idea what to do other than what's listed on the menu. The food is very basic, I could definitely make something tastier at home if I had the time. There have been a few times where they're out of food for a few days. Everything tastes like they're choosing the cheapest options that can be microwaved from their supplier. This place is certainly surviving due to its convenient location next to a daycare and apartments. Other than that, there is no need to go out of your way to come here.
