Always consistent! Service was great and food was good. I ordered the bowl, it could use more sauce and/or flavor.

Came for breakfast around 9:30am Saturday and there was no wait! The host was welcoming and our server was magnificent. The atmosphere is very relaxed and noise levels are loud so fyi if you're sensitive to that! I ordered a honey caramel crunch iced coffee that was fun but too sweet for my palate. I also ordered the smoked salmon Benedict. I was sad because this dish didn't hit the mark for me. The salmon did not taste fresh and the toast it was on was a bit heavy for me. I had a good time with my girlfriends though! I ordered the Monterey club to go for my husband and he said it was delicious - I didn't get a chance to try. The side greens are bright, lemony, and fresh. I would give them another try for the sweet side of breakfast.

My first time at First Watch Raleigh as always great food as expected! It was fresh, hot and delicious! The service was excellent, even with a packed housethe waitress checked on us regularly! The First Watch environment is very bright and spacious farmhouse feel! Love this place for breakfast!! They are consistently good!!

We saw this restaurant while driving, and recognized it from a visit to Mt. Pleasant, SC. That was when we decided we had to come for breakfast the following morning. Cameron was our server, and she was patient as we looked over the menu. The coffee is a large cup, 1 was enough for me! I had 1 ricotta and lemon pancake with lemon curd and berries. My husband had the Floridian French toast. It was covered with fruit! Everything was so fresh looking and tasting. The place was bustling - as soon as a table was cleared and cleaned, someone else was seated. They do serve lunch as well. You can't miss with First Watch. We wish they would come up North!

I went on a Sunday morning, fortunately before the Sunday morning crowds got there. I was immediately greeted and seated. I ordered "The Traditional" and substituted grits for the seasoned potatoes. Food was brought with a minimal wait. Whole grain artisan toast was a nice change than the toast most restaurants offer, and the house preserves were delicious. My bowl of grits were just right (I hate runny grits). All of the meal was enjoyable, and I left as the crowds were started to show.

We decided to give this a try on a Saturday morning during Dreamville Festival weekend. The wait was only 15 minutes which was impressive. They have outdoor seating and the restaurant has a very nice open feel. We ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with strawberries and the Smoked Salmon Benedict. The food came out quickly and the server was very nice. The pancakes were fluffy and the eggs on the Benedict were made perfectly. Would definitely eat here again

It's my lucky day to walk and get seated immediately. Service was friendly and fast. Enjoyed two multigrain pancakes, which were huge and filled me up. Add a coffee and tip, and it was a $16 breakfast foe one.

1st time at this location and the service was GREAT! Still not a fan of their regular hot coffee! I ordered the biscuit and gravy and it did not disappoint the potatoes are just ok and so are the eggs! The restaurant is busy even on a Thursday mid day! It's loud and the tables are a little close for comfort but other than that it's cool!

I also Got the banana bread with chocolate chips. It was a great size and served warm upon request. I would come here for the food and coffee, but the ambiance may not be for everyone.

Iris Coffee Lab is where you bring the friend who can tell you the origin of a bean after one sip,…read morewho gets excited about extraction methods and tasting notes, and who genuinely believes coffee deserves the same reverence as a fine bottle of wine. Iris isn't trying to be trendy: it is unapologetically devoted to the craft. The interior reflects that philosophy. A restrained palette of white, charcoal, and soft gray keeps distractions to a minimum, allowing every cup to remain the focal point. It's clean, modern, and intentionally understated. If you're someone who typically reaches for cream and sugar, I'd encourage you to order at least one cup black. Iris sources and roasts exceptional coffee, and tasting it without distractions is the best way to appreciate the nuance and balance that have earned the café such a devoted following. That said, the seasonal menu is every bit as thoughtful. On this visit, I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte, a drink layered with tropical sweetness, creamy matcha, and just enough complexity to keep each sip interesting. The final few sips, where all of the flavors settled together, were unexpectedly my favorite part. My brother-in-law chose Iris's signature blueberry-forward latte, while my niece ordered the house-made chai. Before she'd even finished half the cup, she looked up and declared, "This is the best chai I've ever had." Her father, after trying it himself, agreed without hesitation. The breakfast menu compliments the beverage program well, offering thoughtfully prepared dishes that feel every bit as intentional as the drinks. Like many destination coffee shops, Iris tends to attract people who settle in for a while. Laptops are open across nearly every table, conversations are minimal, and the room has the focused energy of a shared studio rather than a bustling café. Because of the open design, voices travel easily, making it a better place for quiet work than lively catch-ups. The café is meticulously maintained, including spotless restrooms that reflect the same attention to detail found throughout the space. Parking can require a bit of patience, though I've almost always managed to find a spot without too much trouble. Iris Coffee Lab isn't trying to appeal to everyone, and that's exactly what makes it special. It's a café for people who care about coffee, how it's sourced, brewed, and experienced. In a city with no shortage of coffee shops, Iris has carved out a distinct identity by putting craftsmanship ahead of trends, creating a destination that's as much about curiosity as it is about caffeine.

I ordered the summer crumble latte (espresso, milk of choice, blueberry, house made oat crumble distillation, subtle lemon coconut infusion, oat tincture, lemon rind garnish) which was excellent and tasted like a bowl of cereal milk. I noticed several people ordering matcha which also may be excellent and something I'll have to try next time. Ok, now that's out of the way I was so stinking excited when someone finally opened a Biggby here!! This location is a tough spot!! Being super familiar with the area, I wasn't put off by the difficult shopping center, but I hope this location is able to thrive despite the stress the physical location may bring. The traffic sucks, the turn in and turn out options to the shopping center suck, and the shopping center isn't the most attractively laid out despite the facelift attempt. But this Biggby location is a shining star in an odd location and they are killing it! The staff are so freaking nice no matter how busy they are. If you've never been to Biggby before, prepare your heart for every flavor combination under the sun. The number of flavor syrups Biggby offers is unreal! They also offer a number of sugar free options and non dairy options. I don't like overly sweet items, so warning if you're like me, ask to have the drink with one less flavor shot of each flavor your drink has. Their regular coffee is absolutely solid option. I'm a little snobby with my coffee sometimes, but I can't complain about their plain coffee. I drink it black, so I can't comment on the sugar or cream options but I'm sure they're just as plentiful as all the other options at Biggby. The only food I've gotten to try so far are the donut holes. No they weren't donut shop quality, but they were perfect with a giant cup of black coffee. The inside is super clean and spacious. The only thing missing for me at the physical location is some more intentional outdoor seating, but I'm sure the absence of it is part of the business plan to minimize location cost.

There was no greeting, they just stared at us. Didn't really say anything when we were about to order. It just felt a little awkward. Inside was pretty middle of the road. A Truly Artisanal Bakery…read more I rarely leave reviews on yelp anymore, but this bakery is so impressive, it inspired me to type this down. I'm from the Bay Area and loved going to all kinds of bakery when I travel. I did not have much expectations when I came to Raleigh. I tried Paul and Jack and couple other bakeries, they were all good, but not impressive. The first thing I noticed was their Mill Room, and second I noticed that they have 100 score on hygiene. Not that I care about the score that much but still impressive. Then We got a bunch of pastries, the shortbread was the first one we tried and wow, it was so simple yet so flavorful, truly malted tasting shortbread, it has so much depth in taste. Then I had a had a ham and cheese croissant, it was on the salty side but I kept eating it when I'm not even hungry. The true winner though, is the plain croissant I got which traveled with me for 72 hours back home. I got it out of my bag, slightly flattened by all my stuff, I expect it to taste flat and meh. I put it in the oven for 6 minutes and it turned out to be the best croissant I've had. It was flaky, soft and soo flavorful. Now I cannot stop thinking about it. Lastly, I want to say that with so many pop ups, new bakeries coming up in different cities, often times we were chasing that unique flavors, that special toppings on croissants, but Boulted Bread stayed true to bread, and perfected the craft without focusing on "exotic" or "special" flavors. I truly respect this.

Originating in Białystok, Poland, these rolls are traditionally served plain or toasted with toppings like butter or schmear. 2. Rye shortbread. Not too sweet. Just perfection! 3. Bran biscotti. I like the idea of a high-fiber bran biscotti over a refined flour one. 4. Buchi Tepache. I got the mango-pineapple flavor. This is a local NC brand. It's a mildly fermented drink that originated in Mexico. I got the ingredients from their website (drinkbuchi.com): Organic Tibicos (Water, Organic Fair Trade Certified™* Cane Sugar, Organic Kefir Culture), Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Mango Puree, Organic Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Organic Whole Lemon Puree, Organic Mango Natural Flavor, Organic Pineapple Natural Flavor, Organic Monk Fruit Extract. 5. The baguette. Unlike a refined flour white bread baguette at La Farm Bakery, this one is made of a red wheat flour. Turkey Red flour is an heirloom, organic hard red winter wheat brought to Kansas in 1873 by Mennonite immigrants. Prized for its rich, nutty flavor and superior baking qualities, it is often used for artisan bread, sourdough, and pasta due to its unique, sometimes more digestible, gluten profile. It is commonly stone-ground and available from local Kansas millers. 6. The star of the show was the Everything Croissant. Like the Everything Bagel but soft and buttery.
