I was skeptical when I walked into this place. Seemed like chaos, we weren't sure if we were suppose to seat ourselves or what and the staff was of no help, completely ignored us (saw a sign on the door later that said seat yourself). I finally gave up and went to go sit at a dirty table as there were no others available and then one of the servers finally decided to acknowledge us and told me to wait that she was going to clean it. After that everything went well. Food came out promptly and was really good. I was surprised. We both got the all star or whatever it's called combo. Eggs, bacon, hash browns and waffle. One of the few breakfast chains that stills serves the real deal hash browns. The bacon was large and fantastically crispy. Waffle was good, can't say much about that as I'm a french toast guy, but it seemed like a perfectly good waffle. Anyways will definitely have to try it again next time we come across a Waffle House. read more

First time at this location. Every table is a free for all even though you may have been waiting for 30 minutes and then the next group comes out of no where from the entrance to take your table. Something like that happened. Of course, there are a few staff who are aware of it but do not do anything about it because their manager already started to serve them. The group that took our table DID in fact KNOW that we were ahead of them. What went through their mind, I do not know. Privilege? Some staff work very inefficiently. They attempted to clean up sand that was brought in by a group of boys from the track team. The boys are waiting to check out at the cashier, still causing sand everywhere. Did it not occur to them that getting them out of the cafe would cause less of a mess than to have them around while you clean up the new and old sand on the floor? It took another staff who return from break to clean up the mess more efficiently. I swear, this first staff looked like she never used a broom before and took minutes to clean a spot while this other staff would come in and clean it in seconds. I give the staff in the cooking area, they were slam. The food was still good. Pricing on the chalk board did not match the menu. I have forever been scarred and will most likely never go to a waffle house in Florida again. read more

I used to go to Waffle House all the time when I lived in Florida. For the last decade my husband has been asking to go there if we ever pass one on vacation. Today was finally the day. I didn't think what satisfied my palate 20 years ago could possibly do the same today. Boy was I wrong. The waffle was so delicious that we had to order a second. The eggs were not from a mix, but an actual egg cracked in front of us. Hash browns were, of course, crispy and delicious. But the best surprise of all was Deborah, Rebecca, and Bailey, serving up warm and hospitable service and entertaining conversation. Thank you so much ladies. You three exceeded our expectations and made sure that my husband and son will be just as excited as I am when we pass a Waffle House in our travels! What can I say, it's a Waffle House. They of course have the best waffles around plus all the other food is pretty darn good too. Well sometimes things might be a bit greasy, you must remember that is prepared like an old style diner. If you sit at the counter you can actually watch them as they cook your food. What makes Waffle House unique is that the restaurant is always open so if you have a craving for waffles & bacon at 6:00 in the evening you can get it. This is BY FAR the best Waffle House I have ever been to. Since it is a brand new location, everything is clean and fresh and it's wonderful. I know given time this may change, but it makes me feel good to walk into a bathroom that doesn't have caked on dirt on the tile. Restaurant cleanliness automatically puts me in a good mood. The service is also fantastic. Every waiter/waitress I've had has been extremely attentive and friendly. I've never had to ask for coffee/water refills and my food normally always comes as ordered. Some have even slipped me some free hash browns. (Free food will ALWAYS put me in a good mood). If you're in the area and looking for cheap eats, you should definitely check out this Waffle House. Have to say don't ever go for a late dinner cause it will turn into an early breakfast with the job the wait staff was doing. Counting the draw of money in the dining room area was more important then actually waiting on her tables. Question the safety of counting money surrounded by windows and out in the public. Asking for a refill was cause for raising of money above the head in disgust to the thought of helping. Sad cause was a great Waffle House and the food was good. This was my boyfriend and I'd first time to a Waffle House! The waitress was even surprised and super helpful. While I'm not a huge fan on the waffles themselves (a bit of an off taste to me and not crispy) my boyfriend enjoyed his. Also the portions are huge! Went there when it first opened a few years ago and it was not a great experience the couple times I went but I wanted pancakes today so I tried again. Went in around 2 pm. There were 2 servers and about 2 customers. Sat down and waited about 15 minutes with no communication from the server. The server came over to the table behind us and took the order of people who came in after me never, said anything to me at all walked away I sat there another 5 minutes and walked out and went to Chili 's next door, they are always good. Went here twice while staying in the area. The first time we encountered the grumpy screaming lady. Whatever you do, don't look her in the eye's. She seamed bothered by pretty much everything and screamed the order to the cook who was standing 4 feet from her.
