Simplicity is underrated. I don't know what they do to their hash browns but these were some of the best I have ever had. I had my eggs poached and they were cooked as well as I have ever made them. My only complaint would be the quality of the toast but when you feed a hungry family of 6 for 35$ you can't complain. So my husband had never been to a Waffle House before, so of course we had to go have the experience. And thanks to YELP, this one had a pretty good rating. Our server was so cute. I told her it was my husband's first IHOP trip, and she assured us it was her mission to make sure it was a great experience for him. Our food was good, she was a kind hostess/server, and overall it was good value for what we got. This location is on our way home, so I know we'll stop by every so often for a Waffle House fix. You might say waffle house is like the Five Guys of breakfast chains. It's just that much better than its competitors. Unlike IHOP, Denny's, or other big diner chains, Waffle House has very high quality ingredients and fast service. They don't have the menu items to match other offerings, but what they do make is of significantly better taste and quality. The food is made right beside you (old school diner style) so they've got nothing to hide here. Ultimately, it can get super rowdy in here with plates and equipment crashing all around you. But that's all that's stopping it from achieving 5 stars. Skip Mcdonalds and IHOP and go to Waffle House instead. read more

Being a newbie to the Southland, I've had limited experiences with Waffle House. I sorta new what it was before moving down here(I'm from Michigan) but after a few times, I knew what this place was about. That being said, I can definitely attest that not all Waffle Houses are created equal. This is pretty new location(under 6 months as of this writing) so when I went there, I expected everything to be shiny, fancy and new. Everything pretty much was, and the service has always been fantastic. Being slightly off the beaten Disney path, it's never really that busy either. Being a "healthier" eater I will admit that I really only leave space for Waffle House in the "guilty pleasure" space in my life. As long as I live in this area, that space will be filled with this specific location, however. As mentioned, for some reason, the staff here are consistently a smiley, happy bunch. My girlfriend and I frequently bring our own coffee from a nearby national chain(a sin I know, but what can I say, it's better quality!) to which we always get quips from the waitstaff. One of these days I will buy coffee for the entire staff! I promise! I usually just order a plain waffle with some over easy eggs on the side. Simple but delicious! My girl has a similarly simple order, of which escapes me. The food is always fresh, hot and on point. You can't really go in to any WH expecting anything super fancy, but it is always good, which I think is the point of going out. The worst. I walked through the door and sat down. I looked at the menu. Five minutes later. After watching five people behind the counter, I left. We came here regularly for about 3years. We had some issues one night when we came in and some employees were fighting and throwing stuff at each other while we sat at a table for 20 minutes so we left and said we wouldn't be back. Came here assuming I would get a mediocre breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was super friendly and we ended up splitting the All Star breakfast and adding a bunch of stuff. I realize this is a new location, but first look at the menu I was surprised there was only two items which actually featured waffles. However hash browns appeared everywhere! Should it be called the hash brown house instead of the waffle house? Disappointments also included a limited selection on kids menu -- only two items. Our waitress was friendly, but rushed off before I could even ask her for a box, or Splenda for my coffee. Alas, only good thing I have to say was the food was good. This spot is amazing! The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in, we sat ourselves at an open table and a server came to take our drink/food order within 2-3 minutes. Glad I decided to give this place a second chance. Much different and much better experience than the first time. I even had to ask if there was a change in management because it was almost like going to a completely different restaurant. Come to find out the last time I was here, the manager Rony was on vacation. It was a way better atmosphere and experience when he was there. The wait staff was polite, friendly, upbeat, and while everyone was hustling to get the customers orders out they did so with care and a smile. Rony knows how to run a restaurant and respect seemed to be a two way street between he and his employees. Food is Waffle House food. Good, inexpensive breakfast. Exactly what you would expect from a Waffle House. I saw one yelper comment about cooks not wearing gloves, however I saw every cook handling food wearing gloves the entire time. No complaints at all this time. I even asked for a sauce cup so I could put some Heinz 57 in it and an employee game me some Heinz 57 is a small coffee cup with a lid on it so it wouldn't spill. Let me start out by saying I love Waffle House. And, I've eaten in 57 countries and 48 states. Waffle House is the only place that serves your entree in different stages- scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast; then, sometimes the waffle 5-10 minutes later. So you're forced to eat the one plate of food before it gets cold, while waiting for your waffle. Who the hell eats like that? You might expect someone who's new to preparing full meals to struggle with the timing of cooking different things, but not a chain that's been doing this for 70 years. To make it even worse, I went there Thanksgiving evening, and including me, there were only 2 customers and 3 employees, and I had to clean the countertop in front of me before the 1st half of my meal was delivered. While they were very busy, we were given seats along the small bar area and immediately were helped. Don't let pictures and smells fool you, butter spread is served aka margarine just disgusting, dirty tables syrup bottles are covered and sticky on the outside that is caked on. Bathrooms smell of old Greene pits. I got bacon, the waitress brought out three plates cook in various degrees to asked which was done to my liking one was so charred it was solid black, the second the center was crispy but the ends were flabby and uncooked. When I went to leave I realized I had some car issues and needed to fill up some water. One of the workers there overheard me and not only helped me find a hose on the side of the building but helped me get my car going again. Been to a few waffle houses thru Florida and this has to be the rudest one to date. My husband's and I ordered eggs and they were both extremely over done. Then his waffle was raw and when asked for a new one waitress was rude and made a loud ordeal for all customers to here how the waffle was doughy. After that we decided to just eat the eggs so it wasn't made worse in there. Then watched the one waiter only barely rinse his hands in the sink. But my final straw was when a customer moved from the counter to a table the waitress refused to go over there and passed it off to another saying it was bullshit they moved and they probably won't tip anyway so I don't want them.
