My husband and I went in on 1/4/26 around 1pm. We sat one table before the restrooms. Problem: Waitress (blond braids, wearing eyeglasses), made our mealtime a living "hell", talking to another coworker very loudly about an old job experience, about the manner which she treats customers, which wasn't very nice. We somewhat felt as if she was trying to make a point to us because we made a couple of special requests to our very kind waitress, they were standing very near us and could be heard throughout the that whole area. She was loud, obnoxious, ghetto fabulous and downright ignorant. Manager was there at the time, and I was surprised she didn't notice or say anything, so maybe this is normal for them, but it ruined our outing. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!!!! read more

Love this place! I've gone here so many times it's not even funny. Such a lovely experience- and while it may not be up to some people's standards or likings, it truly is a waffle house experience. A lot of people complain about not being seated, water on the floor, food not coming fast enough, but hey, it's a waffle house, what can you expect? I used to eat here with my grandfather every Thursday and made friends with a waitress, the staff there are always super friendly. Highly recommend for a authentic Waffle House experience! My favorite dishes were waffles with honey (they have it if you ask) and hashbrowns with double cheese. read more

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. It's a typical Waffle House. Not a fine dining experience, a simple diner experience. I ordered a pecan waffle, eggs scrambled with cheese, sausage patties and hash browns smothered (that means cooked with onions). Everything is freshly prepared when you order and arrives piping hot. My food was great. The onions were finely diced and cooked very well within my hash browns. My pecans were evenly distributed throughout my waffle (I have been places where they dump the pecans right in the middle and that's it) so I was impressed. Our server was very polite and everything is reasonably priced. Overall it was a good spot for breakfast. read more

I'm writing this review as I sit here in a stagnant line. In the 50 minutes I've been waiting to place my to-go order, only 3 orders have been taken thus far. The manager (Dorothy) has been sitting down taking frequent breaks as the other 6 members of her team frantically work to keep the tables turning. This is the worst example of management I've seen in a long time. I always enjoy the food at this location but the services offered today are below sub par. read more

This is by far the BEST experience I've had in a Waffle House, or anywhere else for that matter, in a very long time! I don't usually leave reviews but this place really deserves it! They are fully staffed and friendly. I wasn't all the way sat down and had coffee and water on the way. I just got my coffee fixed and had a waffle ready to eat with the rest soon after. I certainly hope this is a good sign for eating out in 2022! read more

Ok this place really needs to b cleaned while the day is going on. First thing i saw when i walked in was trash under the table that the people from before had left. The floors and tables appeared greasy. The food and service was awesome though. Best grits ive had at a restaurant along with waffles. Everything else was just ok. Had I noticed the cobwebs and food under table or if I had went to the bathroom, I would have never ordered. We had already ordered when we saw these things... got food and when my sister ask for crackers to go with her chili and was told they were out. She ended up not eating. Wish I could explain how upsetting it is to try to give this place a 2nd chance with again being completely ignored. But, this is my 2nd time there and NO ONE helped me. I sat there waiting patiently. I even had a waitress go to the table that sat after me and told them to move to her section so they could be helped but did not even give us a second look, knowing she greeted us when we walked in and she knew we had not been helped at all because we had menus laid out on the table and no drinks. People are completely rude when they have made a choice to be in a job that is supposed to wait on people but don't even check to see if we have been helped but make it a point to help another table. We will NEVER go back here! read more

It's 1:57am and I came here over 30 minutes ago and the cook said it would be 20 minutes before he can serve me but as I sit at this table, I was greeted by a baby roach and these people are just walking around like nobody is here!!!!! Pretty, pretty, pretty good. My wife and I were craving breakfast food and dropped by the WH in Clinton. Our waitress, ReRe did a great job and was very friendly and attentive. The raisin toast with apple butter was great. Tip: If you aren't having a cholesterol battle, you can order a large bacon or sausage and it gives you a bit more for less price. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it was cold inside but then aren't most Waffle Houses? This is a good one. read more

Ate here this AM, not disappointed at all! The restaurant was packed (college move-in day plus church crowd), but we got a booth quickly, and within minutes the lovely Savannah had given us menus and coffee. They were fully staffed behind the counter, and everyone was working hard. We got our good, freshly cooked breakfast (dontcha just love breakfast?), and Savannah kept the coffee coming. Maybe those bad reviewers need to try cooking breakfast in a tight space for a packed house, and maybe they need to extend grace to people that work hard to make a living doing things other people don't want to do, like cook for grumpy people, and maybe they should remember that's someone's mom or grandma having to make ends meet. read more

Natalie is the worst waitress i have ever had. she asked me grits or hash browns, i said grits, she made sure by saying "grits?" and i said "yes". she then proceeded to hand me hash browns. this wouldn't have been an issue if she didn't ask me not once but twice. she never came and asked my friend and me if we were enjoying the food or needed a refill. she caught an attitude when i asked for my drink in a togo cup. i did not tip, simply out of how rude she was. read more

I'm a 11-7 nurse. Waffle House is about the only thing open on my lunch break. I have tried multiple times to call in an order. No answer. Get there and call to see what happens. They disregard it. The food is about what you'd expect, and service consists of rude women with a look like I had punched their mother in the face years back and they still hold a grudge. If I could give less than one star I definitely would. Walked in last night with a group of friends, sat down at the booth and there were only three other customers sitting at the "bar" had about 7 workers present and we were told it was going to be a 45 minute to 1 hour wait. Thought it was a joke but obviously it wasn't. 15 minutes later every single employee walks past our table not saying a word but greeting other customers as they walked in the door. My first Waffle House experience in the South! You walk into a booth and wait for the servers (who are behind the counter at all times) to come and take your order. If it's a busy day, you will have to wait a while. But, the breakfast is good. I like how they have A LOT of options (including different combinations). For the price you pay, you really can't complain! And while the location is small, there is plenty of parking! read more
