    Two Eggs and Sausage

This was my first time at a Waffle House and I was not disappointed. The service was attentive and the food was exactly as expected. I was hankering for a greasy plate of eggs and sausage and I received that exactly. It's fun to watch the team calling and making the meals if you sit at the bar. I recommend watching all the action as you wait for your meal!

I had not been to a Waffle House in a long time. My wife was adamant that she did bit not want to go but we "talked her into it." Don't be mistaken that this is a First Watch or a restaurant of that caliber; this is a more casual experience with a lot of food. What can you expect when you go to Waffle House? Expect a friendly greeting when you enter, expect a friendly and attentive server, expect that you will get so many plates of food that you will seriously scratch your head and say, All this for $8.00! I ordered the Cheesy Eggs, Rye bread toasted, grits and sausage. Nice meal! My wife and mother-in-law both got the All Star breakfast which came with two eggs, toast (they got Cinnamon Raisin), grits/hash browns, bacon, and a waffle (both upgraded to a pecan waffle). My son had the chocolate chip waffle and bacon (it was only $4.00). Everyone liked their food (my son loved his waffle), and no one left hungry. I can't say we will be back any time soon but it isn't because of the food or service.

Stopped by Waffle House to fuel up my daughter for her volleyball tournament. She had a yummy waffle and was happy with it. I had a waffle with pecans and a side of biscuits and gravy. My breakfast, with orange juice, was wonderful. Our server was fast and friendly. This visit to Waffle House was a great experience.

We've never been to this Waffle House. And since my son had just gotten off work and was starving, we all agreed to see if they were indeed open for sit in dining. Surprise! They are! We thankfully got a booth. And our waitress (Amy? I apologize if I got it wrong!) was absolutely AMAZING! We loved her! Up beat, cheery, nice, great talking to her! She made sure we our drinks stayed full and took care of our orders. Which our food came to us hot and so good! Yall, they have BEST grits in the area! I know,I have tried them.at many places and yuck. My son wolfed down his burger and almost half of his hashbrowns and I couldn't eat all of mine, there was so much and I am not complaining a bit! I have breakfast for in the morning! Give them a look for some good ,quick food, they even have a jukebox for good music!

I was early enough for happy hour and had a wonderful Cucumber Gimlet. The service was excellent. I ordered the House Chopped Salad, Lake Erie Walleye, and Lemon Blueberry Panna Cotta. The salad tasted really good and fresh. The Walleye too. I liked the fennel salad with cilantro lime rice. I ate half to take some home and not be too full for dessert. The panna cotta was good, mostly because of the topping. It is not something I would order again, being kind of bland, but to no fault of the kitchen. I'm not a custard-y kind of gal, but wanted to try it. I would definitely come back here for another meal.

Everyone from the hostess to our server was very friendly and nice. They have a full bar and a decent selection of beers. My wife and I decided to share their whipped ricotta appetizer and their French onion burger. The appetizer came with thinly cut crusted baguette. The ricotta cheese was mixed with some strawberry flavor. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred it to be thicker in constituency. The burger and fries came out perfectly cut into half portions for each of us, which was a really nice touch. We had asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare and I think it came out more like a medium well. The patty itself was a bit dry. This may be a one off issue and we hope to return to try some other dishes.

We didn't order drinks and each got an eggs Benedict. Took over 30 minutes for our food and the plates were scorching hot so probably under the heat lamp for a good amount of time. My hashbrown version was supposed to have ham and cheese. I found. One square of ham, and no cheese. by square I mean what you see chopped up on a salad bar. Food was ok, but we had ask for silverware then wait a few minutes for it be delivered. Staff was clearly doing closing duty as there were only 2 other tables occupied. Nobody was paying any attention to each other or tables. I had to excuse myself to get the persons attention to pay.they are so immersed in their clip board they had no idea what was going on. I gave a 2 as my husbands food was fine and mine was not. The restaurant closes at 2 during the week and the lack of service was definitely reflecting their expectations of closing an hour earlier than they actually did. We felt bad for the large group next to us as they waited just as long. We didn't think anyone was in charge as there was not a person paying any attention to items other than their closing duty. We felt invisible.

One of the servers came around with samples of their new drink, which was Oaxacan inspired tea and such a phenomenal first experience. I could have had a gallon of the drink! I ordered the Kati Roll and the chicken sandwich for my husband to go. The Kati roll is the best savory meal I've had in months! The first bite made my eyes go round with how flavorful it was. It had a bit of sweetness that balanced with the other flavors so beautifully. The chicken sandwich was also a 10/10 from my husband, despite being eaten an hour after ordering. Though, if we had to pick one, we'd say the Kati roll would win. We were seated almost immediately after ordering. Despite how busy it was, it didn't feel over-crowded. They told us about 45 min for our food, since they were so busy and backed up, but our food arrived not even 20 minutes later. Also, everyone we interacted with was so kind and pleasant! Honestly, everything we tried was perfection. As a Bengali myself, I was overjoyed with the representation. I can't wait to come back (maybe on a weekday when the line might be shorter?)

Service: incredible! The line outside was long and it was a hot day - one of the wait staff came out to give us free samples of one of their drinks. They also have an outside cold water station. The staff were very informative and helpful with the menu, and were on top of their game with bringing food out and cleaning tables along with maintaining friendly vibe! Would I recommend/return? 100%. I can't believe I hadn't been here earlier!! I'm certainly going to be a frequent flier here :)
