The salad tasted really good and fresh. The Walleye too. I liked the fennel salad with cilantro lime rice. I ate half to take some home and not be too full for dessert. The panna cotta was good, mostly because of the topping. It is not something I would order again, being kind of bland, but to no fault of the kitchen. The ricotta cheese was mixed with some strawberry flavor. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred it to be thicker in constituency. The burger and fries came out perfectly cut into half portions for each of us, which was a really nice touch. Food was ok, but we had ask for silverware then wait a few minutes for it be delivered. Staff was clearly doing closing duty as there were only 2 other tables occupied. Nobody was paying any attention to each other or tables. I had to excuse myself to get the persons attention to pay.they are so immersed in their clip board they had no idea what was going on. The restaurant closes at 2 during the week and the lack of service was definitely reflecting their expectations of closing an hour earlier than they actually did. I ordered the Kati Roll and the chicken sandwich for my husband to go. The Kati roll is the best savory meal I've had in months! The first bite made my eyes go round with how flavorful it was. It had a bit of sweetness that balanced with the other flavors so beautifully. The chicken sandwich was also a 10/10 from my husband, despite being eaten an hour after ordering. Though, if we had to pick one, we'd say the Kati roll would win. We were seated almost immediately after ordering. Despite how busy it was, it didn't feel over-crowded. They told us about 45 min for our food, since they were so busy and backed up, but our food arrived not even 20 minutes later. Also, everyone we interacted with was so kind and pleasant! Honestly, everything we tried was perfection. As a Bengali myself, I was overjoyed with the representation. I can't wait to come back (maybe on a weekday when the line might be shorter?)

The flavors were not overpowering and we could tell the recipe and combination of the flavors were well thought out!! Ambience: it's a cute cafe - very inviting atmosphere although a little small. Service: incredible! The line outside was long and it was a hot day - one of the wait staff came out to give us free samples of one of their drinks. They also have an outside cold water station. The staff were very informative and helpful with the menu, and were on top of their game with bringing food out and cleaning tables along with maintaining friendly vibe! Would I recommend/return? 100%. I can't believe I hadn't been here earlier!! I'm certainly going to be a frequent flier here :)

When I said I could not have espresso, they told me that I needed to pull up and they would bring out my coffee to me. Based on their attitude, I could not be certain that the coffee I would get would actually be what I ordered, versus another attempt to get rid of the coffee they already made.
