We were in the mood for breakfast food after a morning of shopping at the mall and found this place through a Yelp search. It is located in a strip mall, on the very end with lots of parking. The restaurant itself is not the biggest, but there are about 20 tables for your choosing. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and smiled the entire time we were there. My hubby loved his chicken and waffles; it was a good sized helping too so he was full once he finished. My biscuit came with gravy after all, but I was not sad about it. Very yummy gravy!! I've only tried this place through UberEats so keep that in mind: The bad: The biscuits & gravy dish is a big let down. The biscuits themselves are tasty, buttery & have a nice saltiness. The gravy though is terrible. There was barely any sausage to be found & when you do finally find some it's minced down to nothing. The gravy itself is bland & heavy. The good: The cinnamon glazed biscuit is delicious. Not overly sweet & delicious without the icing to be honest. It came on the side due to being delivered. I also ordered a side of the fried chicken. This was also a pleasant surprise. It arrived hot & crispy. It was also well seasoned w/ a tiny kick to it (must have a little cayenne in it). This was a very average experience with an expensive bill. Upon arrival, you wait in line to order and then get a number for the table for food to be delivered. I got an egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. My plate arrived with a biscuit and a scrambled egg- not as a sandwich, but separate. I cut the biscuit and put the egg on it. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs on the side. The eggs came on top of the biscuit and gravy. I ordered the caramel toffee crunch coffee. It was so hot, I couldn't even drink it until after we left the restaurant, and even then, it was not a great flavor. The smashbrowns were very good and came with a side of ranch for dipping. I've been wanting to try this place for so long and finally got my chance. Very conveniently located on Polaris Parkway. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. My friend and I ordered the bacon egg and cheese and then the chicken biscuit. I also ordered an OJ. was disappointed with the size of the actual biscuit, there could easily be more bread. I was also disappointed they use American cheese and not cheddar, the cheddar wasn't even melted onto the food so I just took the slice off and put it to the side. Aside from all that, the food was good. Again, said the actual biscuit wasn't larger and two biscuits and an OJ came to about $21 so not cheap, but I would get it again if I was nearby and craving a biscuit. read more

I was on a road trip and stopped here because of the reviews. It's a month later and I'm craving them again. I would love if they found a way to expand without the incredible quality and love that goes into this food being lost. If you like fried green tomatoes get two orders- one to eat and one to eat later(if you have an air fryer- they return to glory). They are the best I have ever had. The service was super kind and thoughtful. I like the easy counter ordering and they have great iced coffee. Now onto the biscuits- amazing. It usually takes about 20 minutes, give or take a few minutes depending on the time of day, so it's certainly not fast food. They have quite a few fancy biscuit combinations, waffle plates and breakfast bowls; however, they also have the basics if you're like me and prefer to keep it simple. Just give me the basic sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and I'm good to go! Even if you're hungry, one biscuit and a side is plenty to satisfy you. Walked in and waited in line and ordered 2 meals and 2 coffees, costs $41. A little expensive but I had high expectations at this point. Hands down best chicken tenders I have ever had. They are seasoned perfectly and the sauces are amazing. They have a nice patio and the inside is big enough. My friend wanted to try this place and I was game. You order at the register and they give you a number to take to your table of choosing. They have plentiful outdoor seating as well. We chose the big round top because there were five of us and it seemed like the only option. I ordered the maple vanilla latte-cold and they do have almond milk though I didn't see it listed on their menu. They do not have iced coffee but she did offer to give me a cup with ice. I opted to go the latte route and it was very good. I chose the veggie frittaffle and it came with potatoes. Both were great and very filling! I also had to have the iced cinnamon biscuit. I usually find Starbucks drinks pretty sweet, but this one topped theirs in terms of sweetness level. I would not order it again. The first time that I passed this restaurant a year ago, I knew I wanted to give it a try. I visited this past Sunday. I was not aware of their concept prior to arriving--stand in line, place order, find seating, and have food delivered to table--I had to ask the customer standing in front of me. I will say that on a busy day, the front of the restaurant where you stand in line can be quite congested considering there is a table just a couple of feet from the front door. When I finally got to the counter to place my order, I ordered two retro plates with biscuit and jam. I asked to add an additional egg to one of the plates, and to have the eggs scrambled extra soft on one of the plates . I also added grits. I received a number (17) to place on table to have food delivered. When the food finally arrived, The smash browns and the eggs were room temp... not even a little bit warm, Plus the eggs on the plates looked the same...there were no eggs scrambled soft. We told and showed the server that the eggs were not scrambled soft ( I wished I had taken pics). I was not going to stress about my eggs not being hot, because my grits were piping hot; but my friend could not eat the eggs that were not scrambled soft. The server had the soft scrambled eggs redone, and this time the eggs were piping hot, but still not scrambled soft. The manager came to the table, got my table number, and said he will take of the price of the eggs from the bill. It was not until I left, that I realized that I should have gotten some type of receipt showing the credit of the eggs back to my credit card. Well, a day later, there has not been a refund back to my credit card, just the original charge. I will give one more day, and I may call the restaurant ( but I probably will not waste time as I have no proof of issue). If I ever return, it will be for a carryout. This way I will not have to worry about food sitting on counter getting cold waiting for server to eventually deliver to table. It appeared that there was only one server (maybe two) delivering the orders to all the tables. The biscuits, jam, and grits were delicious. I will state that the day prior to this visit, I had breakfast at another establishment, and all the food on my plate was delivered to my table piping hot. read more

WOW! That was me the entire time in Maple Street Biscuit Company. Located by Polaris, it is a great spot to grab some breakfast/brunch. I wish I lived closer, but willing to go every time I'm nearby! I was able to try a variety of their foods from the biscuits to the waffles to the chicken tenders. Their waffles are so good you honestly don't even need the syrup! The biscuits are crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. My favorite things are the fresh squeezed orange juice and the chicken tenders. Drove right past this and was curious (and figured they are open early) so after my meeting I came in. Opened yesterday. Pretty busy, but keeping up, and I found a spot to sit after ordering at the counter; served within 5-10 minutes. I got the High Stakes, sausage gravy and biscuits plus country fried steak. I have had biscuits and gravy, and fried steak and gravy, but never thought to combine them. Wow. Good biscuits, good gravy, good steak. Two big hunks of decent steak (country fried steak is usually a lesser cut, but these were not tough or gristly.) Great gravy. Has a bit of heat, which I like, but if you don't or are getting it for kids be aware. Also got a complimentary "ICB" icing biscuit, probably opening days only. Good not great. Biscuit with some sweet bits inside, and white icing. They have coffee and fountain drinks. Other stuff on the menu I want to try. They hit the nail on the head here! We came opening weekends, and it was PACKED. However, after stalling at the door to take it all in , we quickly greeted and explained the process. It is an order, take a number, and sit layout (this means you have to wait for a seat to open up so be prepared)! We got through the line quickly and got our orders in. We were lucky enough to find a table and get our drinks right away. Fountain beverages and coffee are self-serve. They have iced coffee on tap AND Dr. Pepper, so this is drink heaven. We were given a complimentary iced biscuit, which was SO good. It had just the right amount of warmth and sugar without overdoing it. We also ordered fried green tomatoes, which had the crispiest breading I've had in Columbus and a little spicy kick. I got the Garden Frittaffle (basically an omelet/frittata made in a waffle press), and the eggs were cooked perfectly and were juicy without being greasy, which is something I've never said before. Next time, I will ask for extra cheese! My partner got the extreme biscuits and gravy and said they were amazing. The biscuits were the star of the show, so they lived up to their name. Highly recommend! We came in here for breakfast on a Friday morning. It was decently crowded but we were able to find a seat with no problem. The staff was very friendly and patient as we had never been there before. Someone from our group ordered the unlimited coffee and raved about the Maple flavored coffee, so much, that he went back to the front and bought a bag to take home. I ordered the iced Caramel toffee crunch latte. It was good but VERY sweet. I probably wouldn't order this again due to how sweet it was. A few of our favorites were the Bluegrass grits bowl (the grits weren't mushy and had great flavor), maple sausage meatballs (loved the jam that came with it), and the Bam Yo-Yo waffle. Don't want to spend hours having brunch but want decent food with a friendly atmosphere. I had the grits bowl and while not overly flavorful, with some hot sauce, salt and pepper it ended up pretty tasty. My daughter had the retro. Again, delicious bacon but the smashed potatoes were pretty dry. The biscuit was good and I personally thought the jam was great! I would not go out of my way to come back but if there was one close to home, I'd certainly good again.
