The vibe of the restaurant almost reminds you of a Bob Evan's where it's homey. When you walk in you're greeted by the employee at the cash register. I even got a chance to talk to the manager and everyone was extremely nice. You do notice that it is an older place and the furniture is a little torn. Our waitress came and got our drink orders right away. She came back later and got our orders. I got the Barnyard Buster which comes with two biscuits, two sunny side up eggs, hash browns, covered with country sausage gravy. She asked me if I wanted my meal together or separate, which I did not really know what she meant by that, but I said together. My friend ordered the corned beef hash which is 3 eggs, country fries or hash browns, corned beef hash with toast or biscuits. We got a side of pancakes instead. While waiting we both got a coffee to start our meal. It was okay. It tasted very watered down. I added some of the sugar and it made the coffee taste very sour for some reason. It was not my favorite. Our meals came out within 15 minutes so bravo to them for that! I finally then realized what she meant by together or separate because everything was completely covered in their gravy and I never thought I'd say it, but it was too much gravy! I accidentally deleted the picture or else I would show it. If you do not want everything covered in gravy, ask for it to be separate!!!! I felt like it ruined my meal just because it was covered with gravy. The gravy was very grainy too and I think there was just too much flour so the consistency of it was off. I tried to scoop off most of the gravy onto another plate with the biscuit. The corned beef hash was okay. It was not exactly what we were imagining for corned beef. I will say the hash browns were perfectly crispy and flavorful! That was my favorite part. The eggs were cooked perfectly too because that yolk was definitely runny!!! The pancakes were just alright. I will say everything is super cheap!! The corned beef dish was $7.75 and mine was $6.50. Crazy!!! I do not think I will go out of my way again to come back, but hey it is a cheap meal.

One word. INCREDIBLE. Great prices and you never have to wait to order. Food comes out hot and fresh and quick every time. Highly recommend.

It's alright. That's it. The waitresses and servers were nice. The bathroom was small and cramped. The $3.10 bowl of soup was more like a dixey cup. The vegetables were bland. The ribeye was dry and mostly inedible fat.

ALWAYS great food & service! Good value. People from all over come to Columbus to eat at TJ's!

Oh my! You know you hit the jackpot when the line is out the door. Everyone had great menu suggestions, and with their extensive menu any advice helps narrow it down. No matter your preference (pancakes, waffles, eggs) you'll be pleased by both the taste and quantity. Be prepared for leftovers. They serve breakfast all day, and we chose that menu even later in the day. Definitely stopping in whenever we're in the area!!

My family and I came here after church and it was pretty busy. I'm sure everyone had the same thing in mind that my father in law did after church lol (a barnyard buster). Parking was pretty packed but luckily there's so much parking you don't have to worry about not getting a spot. The staff was friendly immediately walking into the door and I just love the old school look of the place, it reminds me of my granny's house. They also have a bunch of customers art work and sheets they filled out on the walls and I thought that was pretty neat. You pay up front at the counter like bob evans, so they have a bunch of candy and pie and sweets that you can purchase up there as well. Anyways, I ordered the BLT with fries and Mac n cheese, I give my meal a 3.5/5 just because the menu said a BLT with mayonnaise and I got a BLT with miracle whip, so just a heads up they use miracle whip... hopefully this was a mistake or an off day. My husband got mozzarella sticks that tasted like string cheese breaded.. delicious but no cheese pull, just a stick of cheese. His burger was pretty good! The fries were actually really good, I'm picky about my fries but these were crispy and delicious. The Mac and cheese was good once I added salt and pepper and my father in law of course loved his barnyard buster. Overall, we will return and I will try a barnyard buster!

If you want good comfort food, this is definitely the place to go. And they serve breakfast all day if you ask for that menu! Their menu is huge!! As in 6 pages huge! There's literally something for everyone. Our waitress was super nice and attentive without being annoying. She was awesome! They have daily specials as well. The food here is comfort food and the plates come with a bunch of food. The food is just kind of OK. The strip steak was good, the mashed potatoes were delicious. The gravy was a little over powering. Cole slaw is a solid mix between sweet and vinegary. Fries were good burger was decent. So service is great food is decent and everything makes you feel like you're at Grandma's place.

    Barnyard Buster...delicious meal!

The Barnyard Buster is a perfect, home cooked breakfast meal covered in gravy, something I could use to cover every breakfast meal to make it better. If only the plate had bacon on it, the meal would be five star. The waitress was pleasant but at times not too attentive. The crowd at Tee Jayes was retirees mostly, but the food was great.

This was my first time to this location of Tupelo Honey. I had been to the original in Asheville,…read moreNC, but even then, it had been quite some time. The atmosphere was modern with a southern twist. I'm not going to lie, I chuckled a bit when I noticed my water glass said "Bless Your Heart". In Appalachian culture, this is actually an insult. We had a large group, but the service was excellent. Very friendly, attentive, and everything was brought out timely and correctly. My food was really good! It was brunch time so I had coffee, the "Mimosa of the Moment" which was an apple cinnamon, a biscuit with blueberry preserves, and the Southern Shakshouka. All were fantastic and I would definitely get again. I also thought the price was affordable for the quantity.

My server was great. The place is really lovely and I like there is now a parking garage just steps away. I started with a specialty sip cocktail - an Orange Cinnamon Bun Old Fashioned, and ordered 3 apps since they were half-priced for happy hour. The Biscuits for a Cause (2 with butter, jam and honey), Fried Pickles (chips with ranch), and Famous Fried Green Tomatoes (I don't normally like goat cheese, but these are served with stone-ground goat cheese grits) were all fabulous and I had plenty to take home after trying all. I had a glass of red blend wine with my entree, which was the Pan-Seared Salmon. My two chosen sides were the mashed potatoes and fried okra. The salmon was perfectly cooked; it was a great dish. I also got the Rosemary & Parmesan Breakfast Potatoes to go to have with my breakfast this morning. The service, food and atmosphere were all very enjoyable. The manager also helped out bringing food, and checking on me. I would return for another meal.

The prices are refreshingly fair, the food comes out fresh every single time, and the vegetarian options? Chef's kiss. I blanked on the name of my dish but my taste buds definitely remember it. Curiosity satisfied…read more. We dropped by without reservation for Saturday dinner, they had seating at the bar area or the high table. We chose the latter. The place is not big and they usually have large parties coming in, thus fills the space quickly. We started with Tofu chicharron which we were expecting to be crispy - because chicharron means 'crackling pork rinds' but these Tofu were soft a lil disappointed there. We tried the pork sisig, it was okay. It has this mayo topping and there's an overpowering taste of ginger which is not typical of sisig. We enjoyed the grilled pork belly though, marinated enough and it's complimented with soy vinegar dip. The pancit on the other hand was very greasy. The oil was pooling at the bottom of the bowl. Taste was was just okay. It has way too many chinese sausage in it. We completed our meal with Ube Carioca, it is this chewy rice cake that is deep fried with glazed sweetness & that was okay as well. We wanted the mango sago, however they were out. The service was prompt and adequate parking space.
