Tried this place for the first time for breakfast. I had pancakes & home fries and I was impressed with the food. The other people in my group also enjoyed their food. The service here is so good, typically you get seated immediately even on weekends, food comes out pretty fast, they have a to go option, and the staff is always so accommodating and nice, especially Savion. We're not locals so we can only base this off of one visit. What we can say is that we are foodies from Vegas, the city of a million restaurants many of which are breakfast cafes that we frequent. Sunny Street is comparable. I had the Denver omelette and the wife had the Apple Pie pancakes. Both very tasty and satisfying. The Denver was just right with the perfect ratio of meat and veggies. Definitely coming back when we're in town again. Coming from a place that service industry focused we can say the staff and service was top notch. read more

So very disappointing. I understand that it is Mother's Day that I expected to have a wait. I used to love this place. Food was always appealing and flavorful. Unfortunately, today was not the case. We put our order in at 10am and waited for our food. After 11am we got our food. We had put our order in immediately but was told that our ordered got picked up twice by other servers. When we did get our food, Eggs Benedict was cold and burnt. My chorizo burrito was cold , no chorizo but barley cooked regular sausage. More melted cheese than sausage. Grits were cold and not cooked all the way through. Unfortunately, after all the wait to have tasteless unacceptable food. We still had to pay for both of our breakfasts. The manager told us that it was Mother's Day. I think the manager could have offered to comp or coffee and tea due to the wait etc. My friend and I will NOT return. Tuesday, 12/31/24, my husband and I decided to do breakfast out and he had heard the commercials for this place on the radio, so he wanted to try it. I love eating breakfast out so I was up for it. We visited the restaurant around 10am. It was not super busy at all. We were greeted with a friendly welcome by the desk hostess and seated immediately. Our server Savion was amazing. Since it was our first time there, I asked for recommendations and he sat down and asked us questions so that he could provide the best recommendations. We decided on the hearty breakfast which includes eggs, choice of meat, side and pancakes. We placed our order and it seemed like it took no time at all to receive our food. The food was absolutely amazing. My bacon which I don't like to crispy or undercooked was made to perfection. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the pancakes were the fluffiest pancakes I had ever had. The ambiance was wonderful. The wall of windows makes the atmosphere even better because it allows the light to sign in as you dine but not blinding if the sun was out since the building faces north. Overall this was a great experience. I look forward to trying them again perhaps for lunch one day. I highly recommend Savion as your server and the food is amazing. My food should have been immaculate. I ordered our famous hearty breakfast the pancakes were greasy and the bacon was hard and burnt. (You know how it can be when the food looks good but tastes awful) our main breakfast was simple overall so I won't say much aside from hot, cooked well and to order. The home fries were from a frozen seasoned nature but they're good. The biscuits & gravy were also good but I've had more flavorful variations to be honest. The Cinnamon Roll pancakes? AMAZING. The entire top layer of each cake has the crisp goodness that we all love on the rim of regular pancakes. They have real Ohio Maple Syrup which is also great but the cakes didn't need it. The server, tress, was nice, funny, playful but yet still thorough at doing her job. The food came out fast and was delicious. No complaints at all. The presentation for each meal was akin to something you see in fine dining. Big bite breakfast, chicken sausage, sunny street , and tyrannosaurus pancake and bacon. It tasted like watery yogurt. The chicken wrap was dry with over cooked grilled chicken and limp, wilted lettuce. The one bright spot was their fresh fruit. It was bright, crisp and was a nice mix of berries, apples, grapes and other fruit. I got the meat lovers breakfast for my husband. It turned out to be one sausage patty which was nicely cooked. Two eggs scrambled, those were flavorless. Two chewy dried up pieces of bacon and a very small piece of ham. These two meals and a smoothie were $43.00 not including tip and the majority of both ended up in the trash. Save your money, It just wasn't worth it in the end. read more
