When we were finally seated, she removed the extra chair in an exaggerated way, as if to make a point that our missing friend wouldn't be welcome. It felt unnecessarily hostile and set a negative tone for the visit. The irony is that our server was wonderful and the food was great--otherwise we likely would have left. I rarely leave negative reviews because I understand people have off days, but the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness was over the top.
