This was my second visit to Waffle House, ever, and this is the visit that will make me a repeat customer. We went in with a 2 year old and a 3 month old and expected it to go about how it always does with 2 small children... rough lol. Instead, it was the best dining experience we've had since adding our newest addition. The ladies working were amazing, especially Dawn and KK. Our 2 year old was super curious and active and KK talked with her and became her new best friend. Our 3 month old started fussing and both Dawn and KK talked to him and helped distract him so that I could eat. What could've been a very stressful meal for me turned into a really fun time. Waffle house is a staple. I have consistently had great food at many different locations.. Coming from somebody who is not a fan of breakfast food I always love waffle house breakfast food . My experience today was phenomenal, Sunny my server noticed that I walked in with a fast pace And commented I know you need this to go what can I get you.. The fact that she knew that I needed order as quickly as possible and promptly came over to get my order Was so thoughtful and efficient.. She assessed the customer's need and delivered . I don't even think I was waiting 5 minutes and my food was already ready and smelled delicious. I got the waffle All Star combo. The service at this location is excellent, Sunny was kind and friendly and extremely good at her job, you can tell she was walking past the cooks to ensure all of her customer's orders were correct . I ordered the grand slam with scrambled cheese eggs and they come out with an order of fried eggs with cheese in them and an undone/soggy waffle. This part of the counter was not cleaned but there was one of their placemat style menus. I picked it up to look over what I was hungry for. I ordered 3 large bacons and two coffees (no comments from the peanut gallery). The waitress and I actually had a long conversation about EXACTLY how many pieces of bacon this would be. There are some hard working people in this restaurant. For as small as this place is, they are turning out breakfast platters so fast to a lot of diners with minimal wait time. We had an attentive and outgoing server that made sure my coffee cup was always full. We usually like this Wafflehouse as it is kind of out of the way. Today was bad. We ordered the Texas Bacon melt. Something horribly wrong was going on with the bacon. It was wretched. I think it had spoiled. I tried a bad bite and had my fiancé had a bite and we both almost vomited. We complained to the waiter and he said 'yeah, he tried a BLT earlier and it tasted rancid'. I've been coming to this location since they closed my local Waffle House. I prefer this location because they are not as busy as the one a little closer to my house which you can never get a seat in on a Saturday or Sunday morning. As with all Waffle Houses the food quality is 100% dependent on the grill operator(s) that are on duty. I haven't gotten a burned on one side and under cooked on the other side sausage or rubbery scrambled eggs and burned toast like I got several times at the other location I drive past to get to Euless. One of the waitresses here knows me now and takes good care of me and I tip her well, but then I usually tip well, in excess of 20%. So until they open another location closer to my house I guess this is my Waffle House for now. read more

Avoid this Waffle House. The staff struggles with basic math so you have to check your tickets. The cooks lack of care leaves with everything burnt. The amount of flys in the store is discouraging. The wait when there is only 3 other people in the store is horrible. Then if the gravy is runny they say well you can get something else cause it'll take at least 30 minutes to make more gravy! This has to be the nastiest waffle house I have E V E R been too. I don't normally expect much when it comes to customer service at a Waffle House but the man that took our order just was not it. I don't if he was tired or just not a good listener but there was just way too many times that we either had to correct him or send something back. Bringing out HOT TEA when we asked for HI-C or ordering raisin bread for the entire table when only person asked for it. Something that really did not sit well with me was when I ordered a cup of water. It a disgusting aftertaste and I could not figure out if it was the water or cup itself. I complained and ask for a bottled water instead and the man responds, "There's Euless water for you, it's been like that for the past 20 years." So that means y'all gave me faucet water? When the grits that we also didn't ask for came, it had the same exact aftertaste as the water. Which tells me that they probably used the same exact faucet water that they served me to also boil the grits. The waffles were not fresh and were actually a bit soggy. The scrambled eggs were runny. The steak was way too tough. And there was also way too flies for my comfort. My expectations are never high when it comes to Waffle Houses, but this was just NOT IT. read more
