This morning I had the best hash browns. Chelsea grilled the onions and mushrooms before adding to hash browns...total Game Changer!!!!

SO much flavor, but if you're like me and can't handle too much during breakfast i don't recommend ordering it bc it's A LOT of food lol i couldn't finish. it's huge pieces of pork belly with eggs on top of cornbread cake and served with potato wedges!! tbh SOOO cheap for all that you get. normal eggs benedict elsewhere are about the same with so much less food. we also tried their specialty whipped coffee which was okay, i think i expected more since it's one of their most popular items but it's worth trying for sure. the restaurant is basically a house so it feels really cozy and is a super cute spot for a brunch date. i would feel overwhelmed bringing a big group of people here but they have a lot of outside seating too! overall such a great brunch place, definitely made it to one of my top favorites :)

I'd calmly mentioned, "We almost left & that we're glad you came when you did." She apologized responded that she will put us ahead in the stack of orders to make up for lost time & we were grateful. Alexis kept our glasses of tea full & so kudos to her for taking care of us. On another matter that same night, We witnessed an extremely LOUD & drunk customer ordering double whiskeys every 10 - 15 minutes. It was obvious he'd been drinking heavily before we arrived at our table close to the bar. The drunk was getting louder & careless with his words & actions as we were finishing our dinner. There were young children in the booth behind us and young teens across the room. Regarding the drunk... 1. Loudly threw his phone on the bar landing a few feet from where he sat. 2. Yelling at a stranger about 5 or 6 stools away telling him, "HEY!!! Yer NOT allowed to talk on the phone!!!" while demanding a scene. 3. Multiple times bouncing off other bar stools like a bowling ball hitting pins trying to stay balanced. 4. Swearing loud enough that children at other tables could hear him. 5. Spent about 10 minutes in the bathroom while girlfriend & bartender checked up on his whereabouts. 6. Throwing up & spitting on the bar where he was seated. After he spit / threw up at the bar, the bartender pulled out a rag from his back pocket along with another from behind the bar area & wiped off the bar spreading whatever was regurgitated. Never once did I witness germ or contamination spray being applied to decontaminate the bar area safely. I also did not witness him washing his hands after cleaning up the mess. Long before the drunk customer did whatever he did in the bathroom, the bartender should have STOPPED serving him double after double after double... Instead, the bartender was singing with the drunk while continuing to serve the drunk. I thank Alexis for serving us but we won't be back. There's other classy bars & eating establishments but this isn't one of them. Almost forgot... when we sat down, there was silverware on the floor at our feet. I wish I didn't forget my phone at home because I would have added pictures & video with this report.

The new karaoke host (KJ) is doing an excellent job, and the atmosphere was fun and enjoyable throughout the night. However, the experience took a negative turn at the end of the evening. As we were preparing to leave, the assistant manager or manager, Ali, was unexpectedly rude and aggressive in trying to get us out of the establishment. Our group was already making an effort to leave respectfully and safely, as we were coordinating rides home after enjoying the night. I completely understand the need to close down and allow staff to finish their work and go home. That said, the level of pushiness and unprofessionalism displayed was unnecessary and disappointing, especially after such a positive experience earlier in the evening. I do not believe this reflects the overall quality of the staff or how Branch House is typically run. It felt like an isolated incident involving one individual rather than the establishment as a whole. Ali needs to be addressed.

Despite our unexpectedly late start to the day, there was a steady flow of customers the entire time we ate breakfast. Customers ranged from young families, single guest and friends gathering in small groups, everyone we saw ordered a variety of breakfasts. There are options for all types of morning eaters. Small portions to big meals. You are bound to find something to fit your mood. While the options are typical choices you find in many breakfast diner type businesses, the quality of the food and the freshness was evident. Nothing was "greasy" or flavorless nor was anything "slammed " together to get diners in and out quickly. Care was taken to provide a good breakfast with warm southern hospitality. I ordered the short stack (2) of the blueberry crunchcakes. They were two large blueberry pancakes topped with granola. They were not overly sweet nor did the granola conflict with the pancake experience. It was actually my second favorite pancake I've ever had. They were large enough I only ate half the order. I requested a side of bacon and it came with three strips, cooked nicely. Not too crispy and not too floppy. My husband ordered the Western Omelette which had ham, peppers, onions and cheese. He also chose the oven roasted potatoes and the English muffin. He was pleased to see there was not a ton of cheese inside as he has experienced elsewhere, so you could easily taste the various flavors of each ingredient. The portion was hearty so he too only ate half. The potatoes were perfectly golden and tasted like potatoes. Nothing was greasy nor overly salted so it felt like a hearty breakfast. If you are in town and want a yummy breakfast of some classic breakfast favorites, make it a point to eat at J. Christopher's. You will taste fresh ingredients, get good portions and won't break the bank. I wasn't a fan of the hot or iced coffee though, which always completes my morning. If you are in the mood for more than a pastry at breakfast, this place is one to try.

We will definitely be coming back.

You can always count on the menu but they vary in quality and cleanliness. This is my first visit to this location. It's hidden behind a car wash super close to me. I had no idea or I would have been here way before. Needless to say I was excited to try it out on my day off. A reward for dealing with awful back to school car riders lines! Got my most favorite cheese steak omelette, pecan Waffle and of course those smothered and covered hash browns! It was SO tasty! Cooked just right with a huge amount of cheese steak. Mmmmm! Sweet buttery Waffle and standard coffee. Perfect to fill me to the max and get me ready for day off napping! Loved the Waffle House ladies! Gotta shout them out. Friendly and gossiping right at the counter and they clearly run the place as they were telling the owner what they needed and what to do. Fun atmosphere very friendly and laid back. Perfect Waffle House experience. Sadly my BF really didn't like the bacon, which I didn't try. He says he won't go back but we'll see about that. The Second Level / Upper Floor is reserved for if you are going to be ordering/dining in for the pastas and/or savory foods. I only tried their coffee today on the first level. I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. There was no password on the receipt, only a QR Code that you need to scan. Overall - Yes I would recommend this place for a nice little coffee stop. Check it out for yourself. Enjoy!
