Went to Waffle House this morning for breakfast, the welcoming was so unprofessional and the servers were ghetto. We were a big party of 7 and there was only one booth available while there was another table that still had dirty plates on it. One of the waitresses was taking our order then left to do who knows what while only taking two orders. The waitress was totally getting all of our orders wrong, and having a bad attitude. We were getting into our food, to one of my family members finding a long strip of hair in their bowl of grits. How disgusting!!! Will not be coming back!!! read more

The most disgusting Waffle House I have ever been to. The entire kitchen area was filthy. There were bread crumbs, toast crumbs and other garbage all over the prep table. The waffle irons had so much waffle dough built up all over them. The floors were filthy and looked like they hadn't been swept in days. Tables were full of dirty dishes. There were 5 members on the wait staff, 2 were trying to wash dishes. Other than that nobody was attempting to do any type of cleaning. The waitresses were not getting the orders correct. Wish there was a way to post pictures to show how truly dirty this place was. read more

Service at this restaurant was excellent I'm not usually a fan of Waffle House but I am a fan of this particular location. The service is always dependable and friendly. The managers make sure that everything is taken care of. The food was cooked exactly like I ordered it and it was good. The bathrooms in this place were immaculate and that is a testament to both the management and the staff. I eat here at least once a trip when I'm visiting Goldsboro. read more

Great place for breakfast and good prices! Hash browns are shredded and crispy, try them covered with chili! The biscuits and gravy were bomb too if you like sausage. Had to try a waffle of course and was not disappointed! Light and fluffy with a hint of vanilla. Bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly. Also had a nice friendly atmosphere and quick service. Walked in today to order an order to go, everyone was very friendly . This review is mainly to say that their manager is amazing . He was walking around , interacting with every customer, very friendly , very personable. After a mistake with my order ( we're human, mistakes happen ) he sprung into action and had everything figured out and fixed within a few minutes . He interacted amazing with his staff to fix the error . Amazing service . And the food was fresh and delicious. Well done ! read more

Service is great but there is one nasty looking waitress I thought the way you look is apart of your job she needs to do better

The service was HORRIBLE. There were only 4 of us in our party and you would have thought there were 40 of us. Do not ever go to this dump!!! Came in with my family order food told the lady at register I want no cheese because I'm allergic to it she called it out twice. You have two guys on the grill! And yep you guessed it still had cheese on my food. I went back asked for refund then for manager he acting like he don't know what's going on. I told him what happen he says oh we're you just here? Service was good, that's the only reason I gave it a star, cold toast, butter wasn't even slightly melted, bacon not fully cooked( raw in many spots, runny scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, was disgusting, and I love biscuits and gravy. Worst experience EVER at a restaurant!! Waffle was brought out first and it was hot. Had to ask for syrup. Waited for meal and when it came it was cold.... I meant the toast the grits.... lumps and all and the eggs. Waited for for my bacon and spouse to get his sausage. It never came!! Not to mention the "cook" was back there with his entire boxer shorts showing!!!! Asked to speak to manager and her reply was her staff had been working 60 hrs a week without a day off and they were tired. We did not pay for meal which I wouldn't have any way because the meal wasn't complete and cold like not warm I mean cold!!! I did notice others were not happy either they just left the food on their plate! Without saying anything. We will never eat there again!!! read more

Ok, so me and my husband went here to eat Christmas Eve night, well I had the worst service I've ever had in any restaurant. We sat there for a least 20 min. before someone even came over to wait on us, I ordered coffee and I was given tea from an unmarked pot, that was supposed to be the coffee pot,the second thing that went wrong and they were fully staffed. So I ordered a pecan waffle, cheese eggs, bacon and hash browns with onions. Ok so I was given grits with raw onions, that I didn't order.The whole entire time I was there I never received my waffle or my bacon. After letting them know this it then took another 25 min. for the waffle and another 10 for them to realize that the bacon that I was supposed to have gotten was just sitting there waiting to be picked up.I told them don't bother I don't want the bacon or the waffle, it was taken off the bill but they were so ignorant, and we still had to pay $15.00 for what poor service? I will never eat here again. And to get smart while your cashing us out because I pointed some key factors out was so rude. So disgusted read more
