This location was extremely clean and staff pleasant as always. The staff here are extremely friendly and converse with you just like family. We stopped here for breakfast on our way back from a road trip and it was nice. The ambiance is nice, they had a jukebox playing in the background. The employees were friendly. Just like every other waffle house I've been to on I-90 in Florida, the employees are super friendly. Food is always hot and tasty. Makes for a nice meal and a hot cup of great coffee. I came here and it was pretty busy. I sat and ordered my food. I kept is simpler: scrambled eggs, raisin toast, tomatoes, and sausage patties. I had some water and iced black coffee to go. I must agree, it is a quiet place. As we sat at the counter the only 2 sounds were the hum of the oven fan and sporadic chopping. I disagree with it being clean though. There were 10 customers at 5 tables and every other open table was dirty. We sat for nearly 15 minutes without so much as a "Hi" or a "Hello". Not a single word or gesture of acknowledgement from either employee. Eye contact was made a few times but it was as though we weren't even there. It is indeed a very quiet place. The gentleman at the grill was preparing one order at a time, literally! The waitress would call out a tables' order and he would cook one order, plate it, push it aside and start the 2nd order from the same table. When the second order was completed he would clean his spatula and scrape the grill. The waitress would pick up the order, deliver it to the table and return to the grill side with the next tables order (even though she had already taken all 10 orders)!!! After watching this play out in front of us for another 10 minutes for sheer entertainment, we decided to get back on the road without breakfast. I'm putting a 100 mile GEO fence around this place to ensure that I never make the mistake of stopping there again. read more

Everyone loves Waffle House, cheap and easy good food. This Waffle House unprepared for even a mildly busy AFTERNOON. Coming into the restaurant there were no tables big enough to accommodate our party, so instead we fit FIVE people into 2 TWO seater tables. If you've been to Waffle House you know the tables are already a little small, so the table of three finished with a plate and the elderly man at the table laid his empty plate at the bar making room for the food coming out. The completely rude woman working at the register snapped at him saying "oh thanks sir I just cleaned that table". Completely unnecessary. So being I was finished with one of my plates I also laid my plate where his was. The waitress proceeded to tell every customer who left about the family in the corner who were obnoxious and so on and so on. Ruining our meal. And setting the tone for a 6 hour drive after a long 3 day weekend working in the 103 degree feels like heat. Tired and exhausted trying to get a good meal after eating deli sandwiches all weekend, we came in to this. The manager comped our meal but the bottom line is, you don't treat customers that way wether your at a 5 star restaurant or a one star. Our waitress was lovely, you can tell she was having a bad morning. So we gladly paid her a generous tip. If you're ever in town and stop here to eat her name was Lory I believe. read more
