Though if anyone asks, of course you didn't, you aren't a narc and if both of you were in a Waffle House at the same time you probably both just wanted to eat waffles in peace at a moment when the world seemed hostile. Turns out the Cave Country Emu-bat is a decent sort that just wants to borrow a smoke if you have one to help digest its All-Star Breakfast. Waffle House is a true diner experience of lost Americana, not so much greasy spoon as sticky spoon (syrup gets everywhere, as you might expect of a place named Waffle House), but it's not a tourist attraction trying for retro glory, it is grand, true fossil preserved in amber (again, somewhat literally give all the decades of syrup stuck to some surfaces) by college students, drunks, and truckers. It's a comfort food hospital lit up in even the darkest of nights. It's an aunt's kitchen whenever you need one. Nothing fancy, but something great. read more

I come to this Waffle House every Christmas Eve with my family and tonight was honestly the worst service I've ever received. Every year before has been great but tonight took the cake. It took forever to order, which is okay, but the employees were very on edge, cussing and yelling at each other, being rude to customers that hadn't said or done anything to them. The cook was being extremely rude to the other employees and saying, "f*** this, f*** that" very loudly for everyone to hear. There were children in the cafe that probably heard. There was also a waitress that continuously slammed plates around, which startled me. One thing that really disappointed me was that I ordered an All-Star Special and they forgot my waffle, which is not a big deal...but when I tried to get the attention of the waitress washing dishes in front of me, I had to try four times. It was almost as if she was trying to ignore me and hoping I'd give up. When I finally got her attention, she wordlessly turned around and started on my waffle. Another waitress ended up taking my waffle for a to go order and I saw the girl who started it noticed, but it seemed that she did not care because she did not start a new one. She simply went to do something else. We will not come back here again. read more

Visited this past weekend because I was craving a waffle. I called in my order ahead and the lady who took my order was super nice. She asked if I needed any extra items with my order. She also asked how long before I'd arrive. I appreciated that since I wanted my food to be warm. When I arrived there were 4 employees inside spaced out. My order was ready and I paid and left. My order was accurate and had everything I needed. I got the grand slam breakfast with a regular waffle, grits, wheat toast, sausage patties and scrambled eggs. I was highly satisfied with my order. All my items were tasty and prepared just how I like. Some locations are closed for now so if you are wanting Waffle House I'd definitely advise that you call ahead. read more

Trigger warning Saturday night a group of friends went to this location to enjoy a meal and was greeted with disrespect. Not only was the Supervisor rude and not accommodating but she called everyone in the group a B1@$& and used the N-word. Mind you the supervisor is Caucasian and the people in the group were Black. The disrespect was high from this lady and very unprofessional considering the group was being very polite and had waited patiently for an HOUR or more to be seated; only to be told that they weren't going to be served. Waffle House is 24 hours, so I'm confused on why they couldn't/ wouldn't be served. The supervisor spoke as if she were running a plantation or slave ship considering the staff working with her that night were black as well. So i guess they're suppose to be ok with you using the N-word as well? I was very displeased with what took place and the way the third shift supervisor handled the situation. Name calling is not it and she lucky she didn't get " beat up" . Will NEVER be at this location again and the supervisor ( Stacy) should be fired! Wow. Just wow. This Waffle House is the best place I've ever visited in my life without a shadow of a doubt. All the staff was amazing. Super kind and welcoming. When I sat down I felt a joy and peace I had not felt since I was a wee child. The food was ten out of ten. I ordered the Hashbrown Bowl; the hash browns were cooked to a crispy perfection. Comfort food for the soul. It's not Waffle House, it's Waffle Home. I feel safe here. Please pay them a visit. I promise you will not regret it. read more

Typical Waffle House. The cleaning is average. The staff is "unusual" like always. One woman fell down. Not sure if she was drunk or not. This is the closest Waffle House to... my house! So naturally when I am in the mood for delicious breakfast foods, I will head over to this location. This location never disappoints with the food! I usually order one of the many Texas Melts and a side waffle, but sometimes go for the All-Star Special when I am really reallyhungry. I absolutely LOVE their waffles and I always order mine "light" because there is no other way to eat one! The staff here is also friendly. The last time I visited, I was greeted by two different employees with a simple, "Good Morning! How are you today?" It is really nice to be greeted upon entering a diner such as this especially when it is busy like it was that Sunday afternoon. I had never been here before, but since I'm on a Midwest tour of America, I had to come here, because my friend said it's the best. I ordered my hash browns with cheese, mushrooms, jalapeños, onions. And they had different names for each "fixin" - our server, Michelle was very friendly and sweet, and the cook who nicknamed himself "Trouble" was from Detroit. This place never lets me down. I usually get a BLT with a fried egg and a hash brown with cheese and Pickles on the side. With a Diet Coke.I love waffle house bacon and this did not disappoint. The only problem I had was they forgot to put the egg on the sandwich and they forgot to put the cheese on the hashbrowns. I could tell the relationship between the cook and the waitress was strained at best. I blame the cook because I heard her tell him about the egg and cheese. A great fast and filling breakfast! We eat here all the time. Plenty of greasy diner food to choose from. The steak and eggs with tomatoes is my usual. The wait staff is so friendly here. They are very attentive. I love that there is hot sauce out on the tables!! I'm pretty sure the parking lot is bigger than what the diner can handle though. read more

this location has horrible service and the employees steal. i waitress getting a to go order took my gift certificate for $15 and the total was $11.25 . she did not give me anything back when i waited she said we do not give change back on gift certificates which i found out was a lie. the food was horrible. and the second time i come through she told my handicapped friend who was placing a to go order she could not sit down because the seats were reserved for people staying and eating. . read more
