Did not get my food!! My allstar breakfast didn't come with everything and the waiter did not come back check to see if I was ok

Okay let's talk about the good. Our waitress was GREAT, she was polite with good conversation and prompt, food was good. However, the rowdiness of the rest of the rest of the staff was unpleasant. When your staff is in the "back" room louder than the entire area where customers sit that's a problem. When the staff comes in and out in and out hanging out in cars in the parking lot and then coming back in loud it's unpleasant. I felt bad for our waitress and the 2 other people who were actually working. I don't throw a 4 around lightly for a WH. But hey, they are pretty much there. A quick visit on the road as I headed back home. The parking lot and sidewalks were clear which is always a great start for me. Entered and found only one man being served at the bar. What was refreshing was to see all the tables cleared and wiped down. The floor was clean too. A quick stop to the restroom and they were in good shape with soap. My son and I sat at the booth and our waitress was immediately assisting us. We told here we were in a hurry. She got the orders in and drinks on the table quickly. Before we knew it our plates of food were setting on the table. Everything was accurate and tasted great. The only issue that I will bring up for training that could be helpful is to watch your customers more closely. Our waitress was so busy chatting up a local that she was slow on refill of coffee. WH is know for bring out three plates for every meal. I would have appreciated some clearing as we finished too! I the bill was delivered to the table early which is a WH tradition. They lie!!! Walked in hopes of sitting down to get a good ol patty melt. However they had the seats roped off. Was told that all Waffle Houses were doing this because of COVID. However, pulled into a Waffle House just across the border in South Carolina and was welcomed to "sit down" to dine. Yep...these folks just lie!!! read more

I ordered over the phone for pickup. I ordered the Patty Melt and my wife ordered the Cheesesteak Hash-brown Bowl. When I arrived, I waited about 4 minutes and they gave me a cheesesteak melt. I informed the person who took my order this was incorrect. They stated no problem and made the correct item. I did wait another 10 minutes for the new item, but she insisted I take the mistake anyway on the house. I was extremely surprised and ok to wait. When she delivered my final meal, she also included a waffle on the house for the inconvenience. I was so surprised by this I tipped the woman $5 for this. When you own up to a mistake like that, and exceed in making a customer happy, you deserve the tip. How the food! Amazing! That cheesesteak bowl is a hit! Jealous it wasn't my meal! Any Waffle House I go to, the staff treats people with respect and smile. I am traveling from NJ to FL, and always love stopping into a Waffle House. It looked cleaner than most WH's so I gave it an extra star. They refused me service at 9:35pm because they only had one waitress and shifts were changing and they wanted to go home. They literally left 10 of us in the rain and said they are just taking call in orders. But for some reason the other tables had people eating and being served. read more

The food was delicious. It was made very quickly and our server wrote down what we wanted to the T, so there were no mistakes. The sanitation rating was 92.5 so that needs to be worked on. Other than that, everything was very spot on. read more

The sorriest mf attitudes I've ever encountered in my life. Told us they didn't know if the spoons were clean and when my boyfriend asked if he could wash some for us the gentlemen replied " I don't wash dishes." We just got up and left because they were acting funny as soon as we came in there. read more

The short- perfect for what they should be good at doing. The long- see below. I've been to many Waffle Houses in my life. Most are tired looking inside, old and worn. Many are just downright dirty. The food usually is marginally OK. This is the cleanest Waffle House I've EVER been. Keep in mind that when you go to a Waffle House the kitchen is just on the other side of the counter, and man, you could have dropped your food on the floor and still eat it. The bathroom? Sterling! Staff were friendly, smiling, fast, courteous. You could tell they knew each other well and really got along. The food: when you go to a WH, the menu is on a plastic 8x11 paper and laminated. its short enough to practically memorize. When the list is that short, what is available had better be damn good. It was. 2 over easy- perfect, yokes bright yellow and running, white cooked perfectly through but not scorched. Hash browns-just right amount of crunch on the outside, hot and potato-smooth inside. Some hot sauce on top and I literally smiling as I ate them. Sausage- standard patties from the freezer, but still cooked properly. Coffee- damn good cup after cup. What more to say? I'm a huge fan of WH until I visited this one!! We got in town around 1:30am so there were only 3 other people sitting at the counter. We wasn't greeted with the usual WH "welcome" as a matter a fact we wasn't even acknowledged that we were there. So we sat ourselves at a dirty table which we used napkins and the water that was left on the table from who knows how long and we waited... 5 minutes later, the waitress did not approach us but yelled from the counter where she was in a conversation with the gentlemen " I'll be with you in a minute" . 10 minutes later still nothing, so we left!! I strongly urge that the owner of that WH to PLEASE do some in house cleaning!! read more

Stopped here on our way through. We stood in the foyer area for at least five minutes. We've never been to a WH so we didn't know if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait for a hostess to take us to a table. After five minutes, we took a chance and sat at one of two tables needing to be cleared off from previous diners at which point we were immediately told there was a wait. That's when they pointed out a couple waiting in some chairs off to the side - we didn't see them or we wouldn't have done that! Anyway, we decided not to wait any longer. What kind of customer service is that! No hello. No mention of a wait. Nothing. The place was kinda dirty looking anyway so we took our business elsewhere. In reading the previous reviews, all those folks must have had a different crew. This crew on a Saturday afternoon couldn't have cared less that we were there. The waffle was partially raw, and I definitely should have known better than to order grilled cheese which was a minuscule slice of fake cheese (American) barely hot between two slices of toast.. Two stars because my husband liked his chili over hash browns. Small place, all the crew is basically standing behind the counter talking. Bleh. read more

We waited for a table for over 10 minutes (even though there was an open table) and were ignored by all staff during this time. The bathrooms had no toilet paper. We watched a staff member working in the kitchen peel a waffle that had split in 2 off the iron with her fingers and still serve it. We left after sitting at the table for a bit (after eventually being told we could sit there) because we had still not seen our waitress or received menus or water. This was a very friendly place with wonderful food and friendly professional staff, especially our waitress Brittany. She was so very happy and pleasant and truly appears to love her career. The food was fabulous and all the staff were friendly and had positive attitudes. And may I say, this was one of the cleanest Waffle Houses I've ever been in, the stainless steel was sparkling clean and there wasn't any residue on our table or seats. Never go here! Why you might ask... well to start when we walked in if I looked at the temperature and it said 50 degrees I wouldn't think it was wrong! And we got three waffles, one each... each waffle had eggshell in it! And it wasn't like a little there was big pieces of eggshell in it! I would recommend never to step foot in this place! read more
