I have the hand-written note by my server herself of her name as I was so frustrated I didn't keep my receipt. I frequented the long point rd, sc branch I believe is 951 this morning around 215. I waited for an opening, then sat at the bar. I waited a few more minutes, then asked one waitress who I order from. She told me the given server was mine. I was antsy as I needed the bathroom but at 2am seats are precious so I was squirming waiting, telling the customer next to me how I really wanted to pee. Finally my server comes to me, and takes my double cheeseburger order (upgraded single angus). Time passes, and she serves others. I NEVER got silverware or courtesy napkin, never got a refill, and see her over-compensating not speaking to me with over-eager attitude to her friend next to me and other customers. Finally I had to go across the restaurant and grab some silverware for myself. She takes this time to give me food, so she can avoid me. IT's then I noticed it's only a single. and everything else with the time made me want to go. I asked another server for a to-go, expressing anger at above issues. She gets irate with me, and starts acting insane. At the register, she forces me to pay to-go as punishment, and has a NASTY attitude to where I beg the cook to notice her demeanor. She claims I had attitude to HER, but again CCTV footage shows I am trying to read a book and warm up. Her story doesn't mesh with footage. I finally, stunned, demand her name, and she writes the attached. She tells me I can "have my name, address, ass-size, whateva bitch". When I remind her Im upset and taking this up she tells me "that's fine, and when you do, you can tell them to SUCK MY DICK". I am confused, stunned, angry, and mortified for her, because other patrons saw this, and her co-workers just let her do this. I asked the cook if he's seeing this, and he has a quick nod, clearly not wanting to lose a coworker during a busy shift. I just don't think anything I said, and reading a book, justified her ways. read more

Horrible service !!!! It was one cook inside (tall black guy), maybe one worker Walker pass over and over again basically not helping and assistant waiting customers ( me and 3 others ) . They denied us service basically saying , he's cooking and serving so it would be a hour wait BEFORE he could take our order . Mind this particular situation took place 3 times upon me being new to the area. New management please . Also please hire employees who actually enjoying coming to work and are also professional it doesn't take much to make food I'm sorry . worst Service experienced in the area from this franchise . read more

Unable to order over the phone so I had to go to the restaurant to place a Togo order. Always have a good experience and come at least twice a week but they forgot my eggs and the hash browns with the Texas bacon cheese steak plate. Didn't realize until I got home and like I said before they didn't answer my call so I couldn't get in touch with someone to solve the issue. Came here hoping to get some help. read more

Great food and friendly staff, best late night option around. There's also a jukebox with a good selection of music.

Syrup all over counter. Server placed our napkins and silverware on dirty counter. She got all flustered when I said there was syrup everywhere. She wiped up some of it. For the 2nd time I tried this location. Really bad service both times...and, be it a Waffle House or not, if a place has waitresses that work for tips AND I am spending close to $10 for cheap food, I will not put up with attitude and bad service. Both times the same older, stout lady has no idea what her role is apparently--customer service. No one wants to hear about your life's problems and losing your tickets in your "slop". No, never again will I go to this location, and I love diner food. :/ read more

I like this waffle house. It is a great place to go morning after a long night of drinking, or if your busy its real quick to get you in and out. For the price, I always get the all star special. Its a good sized meal. I dont hold waffle house to the standard of a regular sit down restaurant because its alot less formal than an applebees. The wait staff here are really nice. The cooks also. It amazes me how they call out orders and then the cooks go at it just off hearing it called out. Anyways, ill come back here. Its a good place to eat. read more

This particular waffle house has VERY POOR CUSTUMER SERVICE DUE TO ONE MEAN OLD LADY! The old gray haired lady,that works there, she looks about 75, have been continously disrespectful , unprofessional and downriht rude, to my fiancé and I for the past two years. We've even stop eating at the resurarant itself and only order takeout because of her incrediblly unprofessional demeanor. read more

I want to try this place. The hurricane--they were closed. OK. Came in on a Sunday--there's a line. They don't know how to manage it, but the locals weren't helpful either. People are seated, does the family waiting in line with the hateful child move down three chairs so we can all get through the doors? No. The woman coming in behind me wants to get by and says "excuuuse me." I figure she's meeting someone already seated. Nope. She bypasses me to get to the (hostess?) taking names who hasn't even gotten to me yet. read more

I have been going to W H for years. I often go to Aviation Dr. Very good. Today I went to Longpoint Ed. It was without question the filthy. It was about three pm. The counters were greasy the waitress wiped it down with a filthy towel. The menus were very sticky the floors were dirty and the beacon was not cooked properly. If the board of health ever inspected this place it would be shut down. This is the worst ever. read more

The only reason I'm writing this is to warn people of the older lady "Candy". Nothing sweet about her. Upon greeting us she told me scoot over or move so that she could place our silverware on the table. I was very caught off guard by the bitterness. Then continued to complain about the size of our party (6). We were in the back corner of the restaurant with 3 on one side 2 on the other and a chair at the end of the table with myself sitting there. This is how the host sat us. We were not in anybody's way being that we were located in the back corner. She complained for about 30 seconds explaining that the host should have divided us up into two tables. Whatever. Anyways, she continued to be extremely snappy and interrupted us speak constantly. All 6 of us have servers/ bartenders for the last 3-5 years!!! We totally understand every possible circumstance but there was no reason to be this rude to guests who have done nothing but say "yes ma'am" and be polite. If we said Thank You she said nothing. It was just awkward. We found a bug wing in our water, a large female hair on our waffle and a small black hair in some hashbrowns. We said nothing because she was that unapproachable. She yelled at me when I asked for extra eggs or hashbrowns instead of meat (vegetarian). She told my friends when they all 3 asked for crispy hashbrowns that there were no promises. When she started delivering food my boyfriend tried to tell her his order was incorrect and she snapped that she would be back and get him anything we needed in a minute. Whatevs. When we checked out at the counter, my boyfriend and I had a bill of about $25. He left her 3 dollars and she cracked up to herself and just stood there shaking her head at us. It was the most awkward situation I ever encountered with a server. As servers ourselves, we always tip 20% or higher no matter what... except this time. My boyfriend asked her if there was a problem and she said I made sure your hashbrowns were crispy. He informed her that her sarcastic laugh was the first time he saw her smile all day. We understand that everyone has personal issues they may be going through but this is the third time we have witnessed her unprofessionalism. Again, this is Waffle House and I get that. But that doesn't excuse unnecessary rudeness and poor customer service with no motive. read more

We were a bit concerned at first because of the lack of organization with the hostess. However, the staff was top notch and the food was actually very good! I have food allergies and they accommodated me by steaming my hashbrowns and cooking my eggs with no oil. The manager even came by to make sure it was okay for me to eat. Our waitress, Meg, was very sweet, personable and knew exactly when to show up to check on us. It was a very good experience. Being from out of town and knowing that Waffle House can be "hit or miss", I was very pleased. read more

Our waitress Karol was terrific! The peanut butter waffle is awesome! The 'all the way' hash browns were tasty. The food is inexpensive and fast! They have a $5 menu that has a bunch of different choices, and the all star breakfast is a ton of food for $7. They have other food that's not breakfast food too. Plus it's the only place around open 24 hours. read more
