My husband and I were looking for something to eat late on a Sunday whe everything else is closed. We drove down to this Waffle House and will never forget how terrible the experience was. The night manager who was also on the grill started screaming and cursing at the top of her lungs at the two servers who were trying to give her their orders. The other cook or staff member was asleep at one of the booths and got up and started to help. We looked at eachother and decided to stay a few more moments but then she went at it agon- screaming and cursing at her entire staff. It was a redneck nightmare! We came at a very busy time on a Sunday morning. We were greeted at the door and offered seating very quickly. There was plenty of staff/workers and all were clicking like a well oiled machine. Manny was friendly and efficient. He got our special orders correct and out quickly. We have been here several times before and found things spot on every time. We will not hesitate to return. read more

From worst to first. A few years ago we thought this was the worst Waffle House ever, today it's the best. The breakfast was fast and somehow tasted better than ever and it was a simple 2 eggs over and bacon. But it was delivered quick as a flash and was hot and delicious. read more

WWe went to the Waffle House, in Ocean Springs, MS,the other day, and what a delight! Barbie was our server and my Steak Breakfast Bowl was amazing! Oliver had the Angus Burger and he said it tasted great, and he is PICKY about meat quality. This really was Angus! I told Barbie that we were moving down the street and she would see us a great deal, and she went ahead and introduced us to the whole crew there! And they have a new automated check-out system, making it easier and quicker, to catch a quick meal there! Definitely WORTH the 5 stars, and I am glad this restaurant will soon be right down the street from us! read more

Stopped here for breakfast only to quickly leave. The server "Charlie" refused to take an order of 4 eggs with 2 cooked over easy & 2 cooked over medium telling me all 4 eggs had to be cooked the same to be charged 40 cents extra per egg on Grand Slam breakfast. I have always ordered this way at all Waffle House restaurants I frequent along my travels. read more

If your female or not one of there coffee drinker's you are going to be ignored! If after 10 min you don't even get a hello I'll be right there you pretty much know your not welcome, even tho three servers looked right at us they all turned there heads as if they didn't see us at all! Then in walks one of there regular coffee drinkers and they were jumping all over there selfs to get to him. None the less that's when we left! Sad for the server I was a server for 30 yr and tip around 50% for breakfast seeing the tickets about 16 to $20 and I leave $7 to $10 tip and if they're lucky that "coffee drinker" prob would have only left $1! Oh waffle house, how I adore you. It's kinda like a better, cheaper, faster version of IHOP or Dennys. The waitresses here were SOOOOO friendly and hilarious.... got great, prompt, fun service. We all had waffles -- mostly of the chocolate chip variety, which were huge and delicious, and less than $3. How can you go wrong with that? I also tried their cheesy hashbrowns, but was disappointed when I saw that "covered in cheese" meant a melted slice of american cheese rather than that gooey fake cheese substance which I so adore. This location had a jukebox, which was awesome, and because we can during the middle of the afternoon, did not have to worry about sketchy truckers or too many smokers. If you are ever in the south, make sure to check one of these out! read more

Really sad experience here recently. Food was Waffle House Standard, no complaints there, but the waitress brought us a check with a total $20 more than was possible for our order - double what it should have been. Waitress was distant and unfriendly but did her job at the basic level so we assumed it was an honest error until we questioned the check total and she glanced at it and said it should be x dollars instantly. Seems like we spoiled a scam. Very bummed about the experience since we're big Waffle House fans. Only time in the last 5 years we have left no tip for a server. Extremely blatant attempt at a con job. Will be going to other Waffle House locations from now on, because come on - who can resist a nice reliable breakfast any time of day? read more

Best cheesy eggs I have had at any Waffle House! Hands down perfect, not over done, wonder staff, very clean!

The right price for great food. As soon as we pulled in the parking lot we could smell the delicious aroma of the waffles and pancakes. Our son couldn't wait to get his mouth on the waffles. The restaurant was really full but the service was fast. We went at 1030 am and were seated in the last table available by the cashier. Its not our favorite spot because of the volume of people stopping just behind our booth but we still had a good time. Our family enjoyed a burger, grilled chicken sandwich, and a waffle. Everything was really fresh. The waitress was incredibly kind and spoiled our son with wonderful comments. We definitely plan on going back soon.. read more

Worst Waffle House we have ever been to, manager Daniel was rude to his employees yelling at them not letting them call out their own orders then complaining about how they wrote it!! I've never been in a Waffle House with 10 employees and got such lousy service. My husbands water glass was dirty with what looked like waffle mix on the inside of his glass. We could not get anyone's attention finally another waitress took the glass handed it to our waitress but no one seemed worried about getting him another water. The food was cooked perfectly but when I ask for onions on my burger I hear Daniel say there was onions on that burger!!! Well there was not!!! He was saying things like that so customers can hear him was so rude!! read more

I have been eating at this Waffle House location for many years. It has always been a favorite place to stop for a quick bite to eat. Lately quality has been poor. I continued hoping it would get better however it has only gotten worse. I don't know what they did to the waffles they look terrible. The first thing my son said about the waffle that was placed in front of him was "dang, that looks soggy!" The waffle was very thin. The waitress said that they were supposed to be that way it was their new recipe. My husband and I both had Texas toast on our sandwiches. The bread was barely toasted and there was so much grease from the bacon the bottom layer of bread was doughy and soaked. It was not that long ago that this location served some very satisfying food before all of the changes. read more
