Did not even get a chance to eat. The high tops had one plate in the middle of the 5 seats, being a party of 3 we sat to wait for the plate to be cleared and the counter to be wiped down. The waitress asked us not to sit down while she cleaned it, we stated we didn't mind and there was no rush, but she insisted we get up. We stood there contemplating where our daughter preferred sitting, spying a booth we headed to sit there. Alas, the family in the back booth was saving that booth for more of their friends so we moved back to wait for the high top. The waitress, in a rude outspoken manner, stated we don't have to sit in her section. I remarked that we were absolutely fine with sitting wherever food would be served, saw the open booth, and tried that. At this point we felt more than unwelcome with her tone, attitude, and disdainful look in our direction that we left for a better atmosphere and likely food that wasn't going to be tainted. It's 2 stars only because the restaurant appeared to be clean. Will never eat at this Waffle House as we have had much better service and attitudes at literally every other Waffle House in OKC. This isn't Dicks last resort, the waitress shouldn't be employed in a customer service business if she can't even pretend to be respectful. read more

Tonight I finally had to see what the hype was with Waffle House, so we decided to eat there for dinner. I had the Bacon, Cheesy Egg and Hash Brown Bowl with a plain waffle on the side. I asked for the hash browns and bacon to be crispy and they both were done perfectly. It was crispy, cheesy, and hot. The waffle was good though I may ask to have it done a bit longer next time, but that's a personal preference. My husband had the All Star Special with scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast, sausage patties and a waffle. I didn't get a picture of my husband's because his was already halfway gone. There wasn't a morsel remaining on our plates. The service was quick, friendly, and accurate and the price there is always just right. read more

Both service and food were decent at best. The place was limited space wise + narrow. We had ordered Sprite + Simply Lemonade, as well as two hash-brown melts. Those were flavored chicken and cheesesteak with all the fixings. (Tomatoes, jalapeño, onions. Some of my chicken almost tasted like blackened salmon.) Food? Absolute fire, as always. Waffle House stays undefeated in the "late night decisions you don't regret" category. But let's talk service. Our server, EM--the guy in cat ears and a mask--was out here serving mystery and silence more than food or drinks. I think he said maybe five words the entire meal, and that includes "we're out of Pib". I've had more engaging conversations with the syrup bottle. Drinks only got refilled if we summoned him like a Pokémon. Meanwhile, Jessie--who wasn't even our server--managed to check on us more just by passing the table. Jessie out-servered the actual server without even trying. Look, if EM is gonna cosplay a cat on shift, at least bring the energy of one. Right now it's giving "nap in the windowsill." Somebody toss this man a laser pointer or a bag of catnip, because the vibe was less "server" and more "background character." Food: 10/10. Jessie: MVP. This place treats you like they don't want your business the moment you walk through the door. Waiters are silent, unprofessional, and moody. Cooks are loud, unprofessional, and incredibly direct and rude towards the orders customers are placing. If you're looking for an anxiety filled standoff with employees who clearly couldn't less about providing service, this is the place for you! read more

I'm leaving a five star review on behalf of Miss Beth and Mr. Justin. Miss Beth encompasses everything within hospitality and the industry we all know very well and if you don't, then you should as a reviewer. She promptly took a to go order & was calling it out best to her abilities & the cook on the line had the audacity to tell her to speak up, louder as if he didn't have ears to hear her order like I did by myself. I don't think there's any place for big Fish little pond, especially when it comes to Miss Beth working her bottom off with the experience she does have in the hospitality industry. Mr. Justin also was working with a drill bit in his hand, fixing things that need to be fixed. These people are key components to keeping this establishment at this location working & functioning besides our favorite lady my mom tips leaving the casino with lovely curly grey hair who always has a gracious smile. read more

Where do I start. Awful awful awful! Will NEVER go back to this location. I know WH is not high class dining but efficiency and consistent is the name of the game. They got nothing right! I ordered online. Walked in and went to the bar, was ignored completely for 10 minutes!! There were 6 staff members behind the counter screaming at each other the entire time. I finally yelled louder than them and got attention. Asked about the order. No one had a clue and everyone's response was I don't know wasn't mine. I didn't do it. Freaking own it and fix it. Took over 15 minutes when I got them to find the ticket in the trash did them to prepare it. I watched him prepare it and had to correct every piece as none of it was correct. Didn't get and syrup. I just didn't care any more. From the time I ordered online to when I got the order 28 minutes had passed. Not one apology. Food thrown in a bag and placed on the counter and walked away. Again I don't expect fine dining but to at least being treated like a human would be great. I can tell you this the 2 African American waitresses stood directly in front of me and stated me in the eye, I said hello and they rolled their eyes and walked away. I guess my race was an issue. Stay away!!!! Go down the street to one of the other 6 other breakfast establishments!! Don't give them a dime of your money. I never will again. Myhe other WH I have been to have been pleasant. Everything you want in a Waffle House. Travel back to 1989 - the ambiance is just right, always a bit of a line but it moves fast. Our server was efficient & friendly and actually calculated our ticket in her head, old school style. (I had already added it up, so I was amazed she was right!) Three of us had waffles, two sides, and water to drink for $21.75. Where else can you breakfast for $20 these days? (We left a generous cash tip, of course.) Prices are transparent & include tax - wow. The pecan waffle was the crowd favorite, but the biscuits and gravy were definitely on point! We compared the waffles to a local place that is famous as well as other chains and we definitely prefer Waffle House. Will continue to return here! read more
