Of all the many food choices that you have on South Meridian Avenue, this Waffle House is certainly a good one due to being open 24 hours, and having reasonable pricing. In addition, given how this building is designed, I do believe that there is a drive-thru for pickups. My order was simple: Fiesta omelette with a side of hash browns and toast, followed by optional sides of sausage patties & a regular waffle (bummed that they stopped selling strawberry waffles). Total price- $13 and change before tip. I usually sit at the bar area, and witnessed my meal made in front of me within a few minutes. However, the story of this establishment has to be the couple from Tulsa. The husband is the grill man, while the wife is the shift manager during the evening hours. What a team! Good stories, great eating, and one relaxed environment. The only "problem" with the location is probably the seedy motel next door, along with the rif raf. Not Waffle House's fault, yet be mindful of your surround when coming or going. Nonetheless, I'll certainly be back when in OKC. read more

Not many options for a independent owned breakfast joint in Ada, so we can here for breakfast. A very casual style diner. The waitress was very helpful and even gave us their secret menu where you can customize your order. We tried some of their breakfast combos and hamburger and of course a waffle. They had coffee but it was barely drinkable. Boyfriend said the hamburger was good. I got the breakfast sandwich and I liked the Texas toast and the eggs were ok. The waffle was a bit too much flour. Our oldest son introduced us to Waffle House when he was in basic at Fort Benning...we still enjoyed it...the waffles were still delicious and our sweet server Amelia kept us supplied. There was conversations between the staff as they were talking about a local customer that was older and they were all worried about him this kindness was impressive and made me realize that there are still awesome people in this world...back to our food...the hash brown cooked to crispy perfection and the eggs delicious...the only thing I found the sausage patties a little salty but that didn't take away from our great experience...you can't go wrong especially with this location... read more

Me and my wife came in about 3:00am after a big rush and were greeted by Kay who promptly cleaned us off a table and greeted us and helped us get our car seat with our infant situated in the booth. We both ordered the same meals we have at different waffle houses over the past couple months and we're both blown away. It is obvious the cook Hal takes great pride in his food. I have never been super impressed by a Waffle House, generally just decent food but the people in this area are spoiled! If you ever are in the area or surrounding, it is completely worth passing up any surrounding Waffle House to come see HAL and KAY. read more

Went for the first time 6/29/19. I had always heard of this place but I had never actually been. The rumors and reputation of Waffle House (before I went) was that it was the go to place after a night out of drunken debauchery. I can say it isn't just that. You walk in and there's a lady welcoming you in. If it's busy, you have to wait in a chair for somewhere to sit. If it isn't, you can sit in a booth, at the bar, or at a couple tables in the back corner. The restaurant doesn't hold many people. I ordered a chocolate chip waffle & a bacon biscuit. The kitchen is wide open and you can see everything they do. My boyfriend ordered one of their specials. His eggs were cooked the way he likes perfectly. I've always been partial to Cracker Barrel and iHOP. But I will say we will be back to Waffle House. read more

Finally got to stop in a waffle house while I was out in Oklahoma. This waffle house was real busy. I few in line in front of me. I waited and was finally seated after a short wait. We ordered and waited a short while for our food. the food came out hot and looked really good. You can watch the cooks prepare your food while waiting, I think this is why I like to eat here. The floor at the cooks was dirty from all the flying food. the guy making toast and waffles was on a roll... The food was hot and really good!! Like always. I think they find good cooks and try to keep them. The service was good as always.. The price was very inexpensive for what you get. The seating is at the bar or a table. We chose the bar.
